Determination stor loc

Hi Gurus,
As per standard the storgae location will be automatically determined in the delivery based on our determination rule.
But we need this storge location determination at the time order creation. Is there are any std settings are available to achieve this or we have to use user exits to have this requirment?
Regards,
Anand

Storage Location in sale order will not be determined automatically.  You have to apply note 387482.  Also try with USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION (MV45AFZB) through which, your requirement can be met.

  • Exclude availability check for a particular stor. loc.

    Hi,
I need to exclude a stor. loc. for availability check. MRP should not be excluded.

  • Split valuation based on stor. loc.

    Dear Guru,
Please guide me how may I configure split valuation based on stor. loc. My company in multi level marketing (MLM). We have stor at Brunei as well. Our business set different price if any stocks parked at Brunei stor. loc.
    Exp: Material A - RM1 at M'sia stor loc.
    - if this material transfered to Brunei branch, it should calculate as RM1.50
    - so stor. loc. should shows different valuation
I need to configure this for existing material. Bus. use PO, GR & IR for this procurement. Please assist me guru.
    rgds,
    nantha

    Hi,
Valuation category is used if you want to have a split valuation i.e. you have an option of differentiating partial stocks of material according to particular criteria & handling them differently regarding valuation within a plant.
Why Required? : 1)Your valuation of  Brunei & M'sia may be different
    Following configuration reqd.
1)In global setting we have to define Valuation category( Say storage Location) & Valuation type( Brunei & M'sia
    2) Active split valuation in MM
    3) Assign valuation type to category in customizing
    5) In Material Master enter valuation category in accounting view & choose price control V
    6) Extend Material Master view for both valuation type
    7) valuation category to be active /assign for plant
    8) In local definition Define Valuation category to Valuation area.
Then for every transaction (Valuation relevant) may be GR, GI, and Phy. Inventory you must mention valuation type during transaction to get your material valuated separately.
By this u will able to map your requireemnt & able to valuate diffrently.

  • Stor loc stock to be excluded forone plant during planning run in PPDS

    Hi All
I want stock from one particulat storage loc from one plant only to be excluded from MRP planning in PPDS.
I have activated in SPRO R3 -MRP , Storage location to be excluded from MRP
Now, I have a list of material master data in R3 and also in APO under the plant and stor loc. Also the integration model exists for material and stor loc stock
Do we need to change the master data in R3 for the stor loc indicator in MRP4 view for each and every material in R3 and then re activate the integration model
If not, is there any other process or transaction which automatically does?
Pls thr me some light on this
    regards
    Vijay

    Vijay,
You should activate the MRP 4 view indicator. The MRP cutomizing is only for defualting the value during material master creation. The material master setting is only considered in MRP run. I am not sure about the integration model.

    How to do it?

  • Delete stor. loc.

    Guru,
How may I delete stor. loc. that exist. Please take note that there are materials exist in this stor. loc. Appreciate if you could brief me how may I go about it clearly.
    rgds,
    nantha

    Furthermore.
the material master has a storage location view.
If you delete the storage location from customizing, then you cannot set the deletion indicator for this view in material master, as SAP checks the existence of storage location in table T001L in this moment.
So you may have to set the deletion indicator to your materials master storage location views first.
And again, when you carry out archiving in SARA, and want archive all this storage location view from materials then you cannot as SAP copies the storage location from T001L table into an internal table.
And since you deleted the storage location from T001L in customizing, the view can never be archived.
        IF NOT LGORT[] IS INITIAL.
          SELECT WERKS LGORT FROM T001L
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE IT001L
                       WHERE WERKS IN WERKS
                       AND   LGORT IN LGORT.
          SORT IT001L BY WERKS LGORT.
        ENDIF.

  • STO ( stor. loc. to stor. loc of same plant ) creation frm Sales Order

    Hello guys
I am facing a unique scenario in our current environment. Need you input ASAP
    environment:
    Org 1 - Plant 1 - division 1
    Org 2 - Plant 2 - division 2
Org 1 wants to take over the sales of all the items belonging to division 2 which are currently being sold by Org 2.
These items are HAWA and their procurement is currently done outside ECC.
Now the procurement of these items will continue to be done by Org 2 & even its inventory will be owned by Org 2.
    Proposed Sales Flow:
    1) Org 1 accepts Order for the item with Plant as Plant 2
    2) Plant 2 Delivers the goods to customer
    3) Org 1 invoices the customer
    4) Org 2 invoices Org 1 using Intercompany billing.
Now the challenge is wrt step 2.
The Items are shipped from Plant 2 with their Issuing storage location as ABC.
However these items are initially stocked in a different building outside the Plant 2 .. say stor. location = XYZ
Now based on the Sales Requirements due for shipment today .. the users will move the Inventory of the items from Stor. Location XYZ to ABC for which they want some reference document for the move (which I have recommended as STO)
I have come across some threads which give input regarding triggerring STO from Sales Order.
However my challenge is the STO in this case is between 2 storage locations ABC & XYZ  of the same plant.
Do you think Sales Order triggering a PR (similar to 3rd Party scenario) & then this PR converts to a STO work ?
Please let me know the steps if possible.
    THanks
    Vin

Well actually the Selling Org ABCD is of a different Company code .. it is a typical case of Intercompany Sales .. where the Plant WXYZ is belonging to another company code.
I have setup the Intercompany Sales Process .. and want to trigger the Stock movement as mentioned above.
I have configured the STO for storage location - stor. location in a Plant. ...
However I am struggling to trigger a STO from a Sales Order.
I tried using the Schedule Lines to trigger a Pur. Req ... however the Supplying Plant field remains blank (which is the same in this case as it is a stock movement between 2 locations of the same plant).
The flow looks somewhat like this
    Sales Order -
    > Stock Transfer PR in Plant WXYZ -
    > Delivery Doc for the STO --- > MIGO to receipt the inventory in 0001 -
    > Delivery DOc for Sales Order -
    > Invoice for end customer --- > Intercompany Invoice
If anyone has automated creation of a STO from a Sales Order .. please advice
    Thanks
    Vin

  • Stock transfer between stor loc. of same plant triggered by Sales Order

    Hello everyone
I need some input regarding triggerring Stock Transfer between 2 storage locations of the plant from a Sales Order.
    Sales Org: ABCD
    Plant: WXYZ
    Stor Location: 0001 & 0002
Now here 0001 is the Picking location for the Delivery Document.
However 0002 is where all the stock is stacked.
Physically they both are different buildings in the same vicinity.
The Business wants the Sales Order to trigger the stock movement from 0002 to 0001 on a daily basis.
So from a end user prospective, they will move the stock from 0002 to 0001 for all the items needed to fulfill the Orders due for Shipment for that day.
What options do I have for this ?
    Thanks
    Vin

  • Production Stor Loc (Prod Order GR location) per Order Type

    Dear Gurus,
Is there a standard way where we can set the GR storage location of an order depending on the Order Type?  I know this is possible with the use of prod version, but other than that, any other possible way?
    ex.
    Order Type 1 = GR Loc A
    Order Type 2 = GR Loc B
    Thank you!

    Hi,
Other wise you can write user exit for you're scenario by maintaining in the Maintenance table like Order types and storage locations.
when ever you release or save the order the respective storage location must go and sit in the Storage location of the goods receipt tab in the production order.
alternative is user have to key in manually in the good receipt tab of production order.
PPCO0005 user exit may be helpful

    hi,
    How to do this?

  • Rescheduling dependency on plant or stor loc.

Is the Rescheduling plant or storage location dependant ?
So if we have stock in SE01 L010 but not in L001 will rescheduling , as it is configured for SE today , allocate stock that it thinks is available to orders ?

    Dear,
Rescheduling-in is the exception message in the MD05 and MD04 transaction list. If you are maintaining rescheduling horizon in the customizing (transaction ) and enabled the check boxes for the firmed receipts to check for the rescheduling then system will carry rescheduling check within the scheudling horizon and display the exception message.
Rescheduling check will be carried out against the requirements with the firmed reciepts within the horizon. For example if you have the requiremenst today for 100 pieces and there is firmed reeciept like prurchase order in the next month...and if this requirement and firmed receipt falls within this rescheduling horizon then there will be exception message will come for the purchase order to bring forward (or reschedule-in) to the date to cover the requirements.
We define it in OPPQ /OPPR these are plant specific hope clear to you.

  • Auto GR for the same material and with different routings to diff stor loc

    Hi All,
I have a semi finished material having 2 different routings line 1 and line 2 and with respective 2 different storage locations but need to have Auto GR.

I'm not sure what you are asking; to cause an operation to do auto GR, you need to choose the right operation control key. The auto GR is controlled via the operation control key.
Then for the Slocs; on the production version (MRP 4 view) you have a field "receiving location". Maintain for each of the two versions the right location.
Next, create a new production order, and choose one of the production versions. Release, and do CO11N for the operation with the auto GR control key. See that it is received in the desired Sloc..

  • STO to transfer material from Stor.Loc. 0001 to 0002 under the same Plant

    Dear friends ,
Does anyone already have used the new functionlity to transfer material from Storage Location 0001 to Storage Location 0002 under the same plant  with STO ?
Which delivery  and movement type should I use to do that ? we put a mov. type 311 but errors appear for us.
    best regards,
    Alessandro

    Hi Alessandro,
You can very well create an STO keeping the issueing and receiving plant as same and mentioning the issue S.location and do the DO using VL10B and PGI using VL02N.
at the time of GR you can specify the receiving S.location and post the GR.
There is no any requirement for specific config.

  • Locating pur grp, plant, & stor loc for materials

Is there a way to view a table possibly (using SE16?) to view the Purchasing Group, Plant and Storage Location(s) for a given Material?
    Thanks much.

    Christopher,
Table MARC contains material/plant data, including purchasing group for a given material.
    Table MARD contains Material/plant/location data.
