Determine load. time

Hello Gurus,
The Determine load. time is  C Default from shipping point in define shipping point - config.
But I want to know from where the days are defauted as I could not see this in define shipping point itself.
Please tell me where the load time is mentioned in config to get defaulted.
thank you
murali

Hi Murali krishna,
Pls find the path where we are going to define the load time below:
SPRO>Enterprise structure>Definition>Logistics Execution>Define,Copy,delete,check shipping point-->Define shipping point.
In the screen Determine times tab you can find the field Determine load time with options as (blank,A,B and C).
If you want to change then select the second option as Copy, delete, check shipping point.Select your shipping point and edit the one you want.

Mohan.

  • Question about loading time determination in OVLZ

    Hello,
In t-code OVLZ, field "Determine load. time", the F1 explanation is bellow:
    -No loading time determination
    No loading time is determined
    -A Route-dependent
A route-dependent loading time is determined.
Influencing factors are the shipping point, the route, and the loading group
    -B Route-independent
A route-independent loading time is determined.
Influencing factors are the shipping point, the route, and the loading group of the material.
can somebody tell me what is the difference between A B? It seems to be the same according to the 2nd line explanation of B.
    Thanks,
    Gunadi

    hi,
    in OVLZ-shipping point- working hours
determine load time: the option A -stands for route dependent
means loading times is determined with combination of shipping point+ route+ loading group
option B- stands for route Independent
Means  loading time is determined with comnination of shipping+ loading group
the loading time will have effect on delivery sch ie., taken into account for forward scheduling else backward scheduling
    hope this help u

  • Route and Loading Time

    All Gurus:
I am trying to create a route for a specific shipping point (one plant) where the loading time is different for every route.  I am looking at configuration for defining shipping point:
IMG > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Logistics Execution > Define, copy, delete, check shipping point.  Under "Determine Times", there is "Determine load. times" and 4 options:
         No loading time determination
    A     Route dependent
    B     Route independent (Route '      ')
    C     Default from shipping point
If select "C" and specify 11 days for "Loading Time with Days", the system will always have 11 days defaulting on the sales order schedule lines between the "Loading Date" and the "Goods Issue Date".
What I need is to have more flexibility as to the number of days on the Loading time.  If I select A or B, can you please let me know what that would do and where I can configure it so that the system gives me more flexibility as to the number of Loading Days?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ta

    Tal -
When the loading date and GI date is same you can change the GI date by adding number of days in the field "TransLdTm". This time will get calulated as loading time. In each route definition this may vary according to requirement. this will give you different transit time determination for single ship point.
In configuration do setting as below e.g.
    TransitTime               10
    Trav.dur.
    TransLdTm.               1
    TrLeadTimeHrs
With this system will calculate in reverse way from delivery date to customer based on route transit time.
Material availability date + loading time (1) + transit time (10) ... this will be the calculation.
Hope this answers your question. Let me know anything else you require on this.

  • Increase in Loading time for LV search in 2011

Initially when I loaded LV2011 my quick drop and the search took nearly 5 seconds but now it takes nearly 20 seconds to load so is there any reason for this kind of performance. Also I don't have anyother big software loaded or running in my PC. I have added few toolkits from VI package manager may be that is the reason?.
The best solution is the one you find it by yourself

    RavensFan wrote:
In my message in the other thread, I commented that I thought 20 seconds wasn't all that long.  But I thought you were commenting on the loading time for LabVIEW itself.  That does seem like a long time for any of the internal LabVIEW dialogs to come up.
(Actually, I find several internal dialogs seem to take longer to load the first time then they should including the properties dialog.  But not 20 seconds long.)
Hopefully, with this message thread in the LabVIEW forum, others can comment and offer suggestions on how to determine what the issue your having is.
Yes now I have plenty of toolkits ( Thanks for spotting me in the other thread )
Jeff you hit the bullseye. The loading was set as Load palette when needed.

  • Pick/pack time and loading time in route

    HI People,
If  I make entry in the shipping point that loading time and pick/pack time as route dependent then where do I enter these times in route as I didn't find any feild to enter these in routes.

You can control scheduling by sales doc type & shipping point. Logical path - Logistic Execution-shipping-basic shipping function -scheduling-delivery scheduling & Transportation sch.
Trasportation planning will determine below mentioned fields.
    Check-in
    Loading start
    Loading end
    Shpmt completion
    Shipment start
    Shipment end.
Picking, packing will be controlled by delivery scheduling
give me ur email id will forward u the document for it

  • Page load time of portal

What is the average page loading time of webcenter portal?

2 to 5 content presenters on a single page is to much. You need to try to consolidate the content so you can minimize the number of content presenters on a page.
Most of the time the problem is in the content model. Even complex content models can be put in a single data file by using lists and so on. This way you can minimize the CP's to one or two per page.
When using coherence you should always set the expiry-delay for the ContentNodeCaches to 0 which means that coherence will never invalidate the cache!
The reason behind this is that the connection to UCM implements a content sweeper which will invalidate the cache items that have been changed. In the Enterprise Manager you have the field "Cache Invalidation Interval". This will determine the interval in which a service from UCM is called to check which items have been updated. This will also notify coherence and update the nodes with the new version.
That's why the expiry delay needs to set to 0 in coherence.
Also set the high units to 80% of your entire repository that is used on the top pages. This can easily be 10000 without problem.
I'm planning on writing a blog post about these configurations later on.
The JOC configuration is OOTB but you need to run a script to enable it. It is recommended when you use WC Spaces.

  • Spry menu bar load time in IE

I have a horizontal spry menu bar in the include for the
masthead of my pages. The entire masthead is visible very quickly
but the remainder of the page loads very slowly in Internet
Explorer 6 and 7 and there is a long delay before the links in the
menu bar are active. The entire page loads quickly in Firefox on
the PC and in Safari and Firefox on the Mac. There are a lot of
links in the menu - does that slow the load time?
Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a "bug" with IE? Is
there something I can do to fix this?
I can't reference a page as this is on our development server
which requires a login. If it would help, I could attach the code
    in an email.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Without seeing the page it is hard to determine what on the
rest of the page would cause longer load times. It could be
anything from images to database queries. I wouldn't suspect it to
be a bug in IE. BTW, what are the specs of the system you are
    testing the load times on?

  • Loading time - Delivery date question

    Hi,
My delivery date is Loading date + 1 day even though I have specified the loading time hours to be zero for my shpping point.
All of the finished products in my company require 15 minutes or less to load so how can I make the Loading date = Delivery date?
    Please help.
    Sincerely,
    Puja

    Puja,
Lead time in VOV8 only affects the proposed REQUESTED delivery date in the main screen of VA01.  It has no impact on the actual scheduling of the shipment and the delivery.
I will assume that you are not using APO for shipment or delivery scheduling.
Your screen print indicates that you have zero days allowed for picking, packing, loading a shipment.  You screen print indicates that no route was determined.
Your request to have loading date = delivery date is uncommon.  Delivery date is generally accepted to be the date that you deliver the parts to the destination (customer location).  I suppose if the customer is next door, it is not much of an issue.  In this case you could just turn off Transportation scheduling altogether.
Check out all the configuration under Logistics Execution> Shipping>Scheduling>Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling.  Examine each item in this block for details of how your dates are being determined.  Make changes to fit your business requirements.
There are a number of factors that can affect transportation duration (difference between loading time and delivery time). Most of these are pretty well covered in https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/547961.

There have been a few reports on here where Corsair RAM seems to have caused users a lot of grief with crashes.
The recommendation on here, mostly, is to only buy RAM from macsales.com or crucial.com as they guarantee their modules will work and offer a no quibble lifetime guarantee.
I'd put the original RAM back in, return the Corsair chips for a refund and re-order from one of those two companies.

  • Can a BIG form be served up one page at a time to avoid long load time?

Tricks I have read for optimizing the load time of large forms are not helping. Linearization causes the first page to render quickly, but you can't interact with the fields until the whole form finishes loading -- no help there. Is there a way to break the form into pages (without creating entirely separate forms) so the user can fill out a page, hit a Next Page button, fill out that page, etc.? Understood that this is an old school idea, but until Reader can download a 1+ MB form in less time than it takes an average user to get ticked off, old school might do the trick.
Alternatively, is there a way to construct a form so you can start interacting with it without having to wait for it all to load? This question comes from the (uninformed) assumption that maybe there are forward references that can't be satisfied until all the bits have come over the wire. If that's right, can a multipage form be architected so as to avoid this problem?

No that technology does not exist yet. There are form level events that need to have the entire document there before they can fire. Also you would have to keep track of where you are so that would mean some sort of session information for each user.

  • Slow BIOS load times

Hello, I own a T420i and have been experiencing very slow load times on startup.  The "ThinkPad" BIOS screen stays active for roughly 5-10min before continuing like normal.  Once operational the computer works fine other then an occasional freeze up (which becomes extremely annoying with a boot time of 10 min).
    Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Epitome, welcome to the forums,
do you have any external devices, especiall USB storage, attached to the system when booting?  If so please detach them to see if you experience the same problem.
If the system boots normally please exclude the USB devices from the boot order in BIOS; the system may be scanning them for boot information before moving on to start from the main hard drive.

  • Improving load times in Linux LabVIEW executable

I'm looking for (simple) ways to improve the loading times in a Linux LabVIEW executable. We're using a low performance, low cost CPU board, and loading times are terrible. The CPU is capable of doing everything after the application is loaded, but takes forever to get there.
One of the problems is the size of the executable, that grows everytime you just look at it. Are there ways to create smaller executables? It runs from a Compact Flash card, which is ofcourse much slower than hard disk.
Another problem is a dynamic vi, that is started for every TCP connection that connects to the application. It takes a long time to load, and connecting too fast can even effectively hang up the system. Starting a handler task takes about half a second, up to a few seconds for the first task.

    I'm
not sure about the first part of your question. LabVIEW is highly
binary and does a lot of memory allocations before even one VI is ready
to be started. So maybe the memory manager is a problem. Another issue
is that the Macintosh like resource file format that is used by LabVIEW to store its VIs etc. results in
lots and lots of individual disk accesses with a rther random like
character inside a single file. So if you can configure the read
caching of your disk to use more memory this may significantly increase
the speed of loading LabVIEW VIs or applications.
And finally spawning VIs through VI server is a rather costly operation
especially on low resoruce systems. A VI is more like an executable in
many ways as far as resource consumption is concerned rather than a
thread. A much better way would be to avoid spawning subVIs altogether
and implement a queued TCP/IP server similar to the Date Time Server
example. It is a little extra work to work with this shift register
architecture but it will not have the issues of long load times for
every new TCP/IP connection coming in.

  • Long load times and poor application performance

We have packaged and deployed Adobe CC using SCCM within my school division. It pushed out fine, but now when we attempt to open Photoshop (or any other CC app) it has unusually long load times. 2-4 minutes. It seems to be hanging at the "Reading preferences" stage. After the application appears to have started, it takes an unusually long time to actually start working in the application (it appears to just hang).

    Hello There,
EXE's always bundle additional files because it is a stand-alone entity. And, if the size 9GB then it will surely take time to load all the files. I'll check with the team again on how we can optimize it. BTW, are the videos inserted as slide video or Event video?
    Thanks,
