Determine Version of Inventory Agent

Good day,
Is there a method from either the CLI or ZCC console that can be used to determine the "exact" version of the Inventory Agent running on Solaris server(s)?
Or is the only method available through the ZCC itself?
Thank you,

  • How to download a standalone version of CSA Agent

    Hi gurus,
I know that Cisco ships the security server (CSM) with a standalone version of CSA Agent. Is there any way to download this agent without deploying CSA MC server? I need to do the internal posture validation with Ciscosecure ACS server and create a policy for the Cisco Security Agent presense
    Eugene

No, there is not, installations come from the csa management center, standalone agents are part of
cisco ip telephony systems and not freely available to download.

  • Inventory Agent still Running, Error 2099, 2095, 2092

    Hello all,
I have a handful of NW servers that I'm trying to inventory and find that
on one server the inventory works fine for several hours and then stops.
The error in the SYS:etc/ INVAGENT.Log file on that server reports the
    following:
    Inventory(InvAgent):Dec 4, 2004 6:02:52 AM:INFORMATION:The Inventory
Agent mutual exclusion validation results are 1
    Inventory(InvAgent):Dec 4, 2004 6:02:52 AM:INFORMATION:2099:Initiated a
schedule instance of the Inventory Agent.
    Inventory(InvAgent):Dec 4, 2004 6:02:52 AM:ERROR:2095: The previous
instance of the Inventory Agent is still active. The Inventory Agent
    will not be scheduled.
    Inventory(InvAgent):Dec 4, 2004 6:02:52 AM:ERROR:2092:Unable to
initialize the Inventory Agent. For mote information, see the ZfS 6.5.0
    error message documentation at http://www.novell.com/documentation.
Prior to these messages, I was getting Zen console messages every 20
minutes that said that the policy processed successfully. I'm only
running the one policy (for inventory) so far.
Thanks for any help or direction.

  • Inventory Agent on Netware not functioning

I was wondering if any one else was having problems running the inventory
agent on Netware. A little about my environment. I have 22 remote sites
each with a Netware 6.0 SP5. Each of the boxes at the remote sites is
running GroupWise 6.0 SP4, DHCP Server, Symantec Antivirus Corporate
Edition 9.0 and Computer Associates Brightstor Agent. This is a pure IP
shop and each site is connected with various speeds of Frame Relay. Here
at the main site, I have a dedicated server for Zenworks, running the
Zenworks databases and services for Desktops and Servers. This server is
also Netware 6.0 SP5. All servers use the JVM1.4.2 downloaded from
    novell's site.
I was able to successfully depoly the ZfS agent and the console runs fine
on the remote servers. I have successfully deployed applications and other
policies with the exception being the inventory agent. When the agent
begins to run at the appointed time, I'm presented with some java errors:
java: Page fault processor exception occurred while executing class
    com.novell.application.zenworks.invagent.InvAgentE xecuteNW
This is immediately after it loads XMLParse.NLM and REGEXPRS.NLM. I
suspect that it has to do with GroupWise and it's usage of the XML Parser,
but I've been reluctant to take down a production service to test. Since I
have no test environment, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has seen
    something similar.
    Thanks

  • Mac OSx Inventory Agent (followup)

    Hi guys,
First I want to wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you guys on the forum :)
    Second:
I had the chance to work with the Mac OSx Inventory Only Agent and it didnt impress me much. Maybe some of you guys can help me change my mind ;)
Here's what I have so far. After doing some tests couple months ago I found how to personalize the Agent .PKG so that the Inventory would be installed unatented ( without entering the ZENworks server ip or DNS manually on each machine). So, when the package is run, the Inventory Only run according the Schedule, noting wrong here.
For a reason I ignore, it seems like none of the changes made on those MAC are taken by the agent and sent to the ZENworks server. For instance, I did the Snow Leopard (10.6) update on my laptop (MacbookPro) which owns the MacOSx Inventory agent since june.
When I checked back the invetory data with the reports tool on the ZENworks server, the data wasnt updated...and never will.
Same thing happened when I change the name of a MacMini tha owns the Inventory Agent. His name wasnt updated on the server info.
Finally, it seems like none of the change made on any MacOSx workstations are taken by the agent and sent to the server. Thats not very usefull when you relly on this inventory agent to get an global idea of your network assets.
I know the MacInventory is not Novell priority but, why provide us a MacOSx agent, when it doesnt do his job the way it should?
Anyway, maybe one of you guys had better luck, just let me know here !!!
    Seb

  • Latest version of  CCMS Agent

    HI
what is the latest version of CCMS Agent? Plz Give reply...

Good afternoon, Praveen - I downloaded the latest set of agents on 6/26/2007 for a NW2004s Unicode system. The package was called CCMAGENT_15-20000978.SAR. If I run the command "sapccm4x -V" or "sapccmsr -V", here is the text:
    sapccm4x -V
CCMS version  20040229, 64 bit, multithreaded, Unicode
          compiled at   Jun 24 2007
systemid      324 (IBM RS/6000 with AIX)
          relno         7000
patch text    patch collection 2007/4, OSS note 1013331
          patchno       116
          intno         20050900
          running on    xs-bhm-spp-2 AIX 3 5 00C49B0D4C00
I think the answer you are looking for is that, at least for NW2004s Unicode, it is patch collection 2007/4, which is referenced in OSS Note 1013331.
    I hope that helps!

  • How to determine version of SQL Server

In SCCM 2012, I  would like to determine all versions of SQL Server (version + Edition) in my environment.
    Sherry Kissinger
http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/skissinger/archive/2010/12/20/installed-sql-05-and-08-version-information-via-configmgr-hardware-inventory.aspx  has this .mof extension.  Can it be updated to include SQL server 2012 and instructions for importing
    into SCCM 2012?
Asset Intelligence brings back some good information, however, no great way to filter as Microsoft wasn't consistent on naming the application.

ah, I see the problem myself.  in the blog, somehow the configuration.mof section you are to copy and paste , the stuff that is "supposed to be" between the "" after "ViewSpaces" is just plain and simply missing.
Don't know how the code simply got wiped...
anyway, if you look at the one that's for sql05 and sql08,
http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/skissinger/archive/2010/12/20/installed-sql-05-and-08-version-information-via-configmgr-hardware-inventory.aspx, notice in the configuration.mof section, viewspaces has two different things for sql05/08?  of
    ViewSpaces{"\\\\.\\root\\microsoft\\sqlserver\\computermanagement10"}  (for 08)
    and {"\\\\.\\root\\microsoft\\sqlserver\\computermanagement"}  (for 05)?
The new blog for 12 and 14 that's just plain missing.  goofy copy/paste!! anyway, what you need is to update your configuration.mof, and put in the correct stuff between the {""} in the Viewspaces area of each of the sections.  Above
are the ones for 05 and 08,
    12 is:  ViewSpaces{"\\\\.\\root\\microsoft\\sqlserver\\computermanagement11"}
14 is  ViewSpaces{"\\\\.\\root\\microsoft\\sqlserver\\computermanagement12"}    I'll see if I can edit that blog post with and get the stuff to "stay".
Edit:  ok... blog post updated.  Hopefully that'll 'stick'!

  • Logic of determining value for Inventory offsetting line item

    Hi,
I want to know the following for the reversal of Process Order for materials for which the price control is 'S'.
How the value for GBB (Inventory offsetting) is determined. I have observed it taking the weighted rate of the (Summation of the Total Actual Cost / Sumation of Actual Qunatity) * Reversal Quantity. The BSX line item is determined by Standard Price * Reversal Quantity
The balance is posted in the Price difference.
I want to know why this difference is determining tge line items.
I have gone thru SAP Note 216080 in this regard but failed to understandard the basic resaon why this is happening.
    Regards
    Partha

    Dear colleague,
    you are right
    >note 422606:
    a) The manufactured material has price control 'S' (Standard price).
Valuation is carried out for goods receipts using the standard
       price that is currently valid.
For the reversal of goods receipts, the valuation of the debit of
the order (offsetting entry to stock posting) is carried out
using the price determined from the quotient of value of goods
received and quantity of goods received. That is, all previous
goods receipts are used for the valuation of the reversal of a
goods receipt, but order settlements are not used.
It is the standard system behaviour that the reversal of goods receipt
for production order are not valuated with standard price. All previous
goods receipts are used for the valuation of the reversal of a
    goods receipt.
Goods receipts are always reversed with an average of the prices of
all goods receipts in the order history. Therefore price differences
may occur. This behaviour is as well explained in the attached
note 49995 in the reasons and prerequisites step. As well you find
an explanation in note's 422606 symptoms. the system tries to avoid the reversal
with posted values no longer possible.
If this replies your question ,please mark it as answered,
    best regards,
    maria

  • Determine version used to create a report at runtime?

Is there a way to determine what version of Crystal was used to create a report during runtime?  I've looked at the objects and cannot find a property that might be used.  There is a File Forrmat Schema property in the Report Definition item in the Performance Information Menu option in the designer that might be useful, but can't find a way to get in in the object model.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

Directly off of the ReportClientDocument class there is a MajorVersion and MinorVersion property that contains this information.

  • Clearing multiple version of Inventory Docs

    Hello ,
I have an issue with Inventory Documents at WM level.
I create an inventory document ( Version 0) and then create a re-count on the same doc ( Version 1).
However, after I clear the Version 1 of the doc ( using Li20), the system still keeps Version O in "counted" status.
So, technically the system still assumes that the inventory document is open and hence does not let me recount the same quant.
    Can anyone help?

This is solved. This was a SAP error.

  • Determine version of air runtime from web page?

    Hi,
We've noticed that the certain versions of air are not automatically updated when our application is installed.  An "installer is damaged" message is displayed for a few versions of air (e.g. 2.0.4 and 2.5):
AIR 1.5: app install dialog with option to download AIR 3.6 is shown. INSTALL OK
AIR 2.04.: app install dialog with option to download AIR 3.6 IS NOT shown. INSTALL FAILS
AIR 2.5.: app install dialog with option to download AIR 3.6 IS NOT shown. INSTALL FAILS
AIR 2.6: app install dialog with option to download AIR 3.6 is shown. INSTALL OK
AIR 2.7: app install dialog with option to download AIR 3.6 is shown. APP INSTALL OK
In these cases we've asked customers to manually upgrade air and then install our application. This works OK, but what I'd like to do is check the version of the air runtime installed on the customer's machine when they download our install file from a web site.
I looked into air.swf and I'm able to determine if air is installed. What I'd really like to do is check for certain versions and ask the user to manually update air.
Is it possible to check the version of air installed from air.swf or another mechanism on a web page?
    Thanks!

  • Help on determining version for existing forms & porting to Forms 9i

I'm new to Oracle and Oracle Forms.
I have a large number of *.fmb, *.fmx, *.pll, *.sql files (all developed in the early 1990's).
I am trying to convert them to 9i. Are there any "How-To's" on the subject?
Is there a tool to help me determine what the original Forms version is?
    Also . . .
When opening a *.fmb in Forms 9i, I get the error "FRM-10102: Cannot attach PL/SQL library <filename>.pll. This library attachment will be lost if the module is saved.
I opened the specified *.pll file and then another form and received the same error.
Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Brian Atkinson

Generally speaking you can just open up a form in 9i and that will upgrade it. There are specific issue on moving from client/server to the web and you can go to otn.oracle.com/products/forms and click to view the Forms Upgrade Centre.
The error you are getting probably means that the form has a library attached but when you open that form it cannot find it.
What I would do is make sure the location of the pll files is on the FORMS90_PATH environment variable (in the registry on Windows).
Another note - you can go to otn.oracle.com/products/forms and click to download other versions of the software - including 6i. However while it may only be certified to go to 61 and then 9i, in many cases you can go directly from 4.5. to 9i.
    Hope this helps.
