Determining System components/specifications

I just got a T400 from the Outlet, Refurbished high end model ($3200 list/ $1250 outlet).
When I purchased it I did not print out the specifications, I remember some but not all.
I've just unpacked, started charging the battery, and noticed there is no info on the invoice
or the packing slip. Of course the listing with the specs disappeared from the Outlet as soon
as I purchased it. So,,,, I'd like to have a list of all my components in my file. Can I find this online?
I went to the Support page of the website, I got the list of all the components that could be in
my T400 ( 2764CTR ), but I don't see anywhere to look up my particular machine. I would
think you could register your machine (s) on the website and be able to track everything you
need to know about it online. Am I missing this on the Support page?
FYI:
First purchase of a Lenovo, or, for that matter, a Windows based machine, in many years. I
need this for use in my greenhouse. I breed orchids and I wanted to do research with a Windows
only based program while out in the benches. The screen, the SSD, the splash proof keyboard,
were what sold me on the brand.

Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is a backup listed for your iPhone 5 dated BEFORE you restored your iPhone 4 backup to your iPhone 5? If not, your data is gone. Problem in automatic batch determination for components in process order

Ours is a process order industry. Here we prepare food items.
We are entering manual batch for finished product. We want to perform automatic batch determination for one of the components raw material. For other packing material we do not want to maintain batches.
The batch procedure picked is me0001 for 261 movement type instead of C00001.
Because of that we need to enter batch manually.
Send us the procedure to automatic batch determination for components.

I am attempting to install Oracle BI 11g on a Windows VM. The installation process completes successfully. However, the configuration process errors out at the step - Creating BI Server System Components. The last entry in the install log is as below:

The resource utilization seems to be normal. Netstat confirms that all of the above ports are free. Since there is no explicit error message in the log, we are unable to decipher the exact source for this error.
Virtual Machine details: Intel Xeon @ 2.67 GHz, Windows Server 2003 SP2, 4GB RAM, 50GB HDD, Static IP
Oracle BI Schema DB: MS SQL Server
Any inputs on this error will be greatly appreciated.

I recenty started instaling OBIEE 11g and got the same error : "Creating BI server system components". I read your solution and would like to know that if this patch is okay to install on a Windows VM (win server 2003 EE, SP2). If yes, after rebooting, do we reinstall ?
I am also getting the following errors:

I Installed loopback adapter and filled static IP address, how was describes in some blogs. But this didn't help.
I tryed to continue the installation. But when i bring up all the services and try to log into presentation services, i get the following error.
"Unable to Sign In
An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your system administrator."
What shoud i do now?

MDT deployment "windows could not configure one or more system components"

Hi,
I have successfully deployed a standard Windows 7 image using a combination of WDS and MDT.
Now I want to patch the image with the latest security updates and hotfixes. Using DISM command line I mounted the image, added 125 packages and unmounted the image. Then I put this custom image into MDT and deployed using the same task sequence as the standard
image above.
The deployment nearly finished and the computer reboots. I then get a screen showing an animated progress bar and 'Setup is applying system settings'. Then a pop-up error...
"Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install Windows, restart the computer and then restart the installation".
I have tried with and without injecting drivers into the task sequence (just to rule that out).
Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? A standard image deploys fine. The same image with patches applied fails.

At the moment I'm rebuilding my install.wim without the mentioned update, so I'm not able to tell if this resolves my issue, but good chance it will.
If you haven't figured it out yourself at this time, most likely an update will cause these troubles.

Workflow link not showing in enterprize manager system components

Hi,
I just started with Oracle Apps and have installed infra, midtier , midtierjsp and a remote repository.
As part of the install I installed OWF.
Problem is it does not show up in the midtier system components.
I restarted all components and servers severl times with no luck.
I opened a tar with Oracle and poor response.
I got a metalink article : 265554.1 and I followed the instructions there , which was exactly what I did prior, but still no OWF showing.
Below is the last lines from ny workflow install. Any help will be greatly appreciated and this is rather urgert.

Is there any way to start/stop OBIEE system components other than OPMN

We had some issues including OPMN into our watch dog process, does oracle provide start/stop scripts to manage system components or we have to rely on OPMN ?

"system launch" specific modules inside a library

Bonjour,
I use a large library (let's say this is necessary there) to store a large application with many user screens in it.
The modules all fall out into one application tree. Thus the root module is the one to be launched as "library top module" and I declared it appropriately.
But sometimes I would like to launch only one specific sub-module, not the "top" one, using a command line / system call. Is there a Labview command or tool to "system launch" specific modules inside a library ?

LabVIEW accepts as a command line option the name of a VI to open or a library and a VI to open. So if in the \temp directory you have a library called lib_test.llb in whict there are the first.vi and second.vi, you can create a shortcut to LabVIEW with the property
'labview.exe c:\temp\lib_test.llb\first.vi'
and LabVIEW will launched opening directly first.vi

Determine system folder

The point is: I need to get some *.dll. It stores in system folder (usually windows/system). But this folder can be installed on disk C:, D:, etc. Besides it some user can install windows not in "window" folder but in any folder he wants.
Thus I want to determine system directory. Is it possible to do by means of java. And how it can be done - if possible.

I'm not going to write anything to HDD. I just want to
know where is system folder situated.An Applet cannot read or write files on the client system, without being signed and getting permissions to do so. Therefore, not only you can't get the name of Windows folder, even if you knew it, you had nothing to do with it.
You can't get a list of files in a directory, you can't check for existense of a file, and you certainly can't open a file.

I need to cunfigure our SCCM 2012R2 for deploying operating system on specific VLAN.
I think that I need to configure DHCP server with PXE on SCCM server. After that, how can deploy operating system just for this VLAN? I can't find any tutorial for this scenario :(

OK, assuming your need has nothing to do with setting up PXE then, you're only concerned about the
availability of the task sequence, and you want to limit it from Software Center while also being able to image new machines, then here is what you can do:
1. You need to have an IP address range that covers the VLAN regardless or you won't get any content.
2. For existing clients, create a query-collection for clients that fall within the IP range/subnet of the VLAN and deploy the task sequence just to that collection
3. For new machines, be sure to deploy the task sequence to the All Unknown Computers collection

System components are those which are providing the basic functionalities on UCM server by default . Standard components are those which are provided as-in on the server but need to be enabled per case basis . For example Framework Folders which is not necessary for the basic functionalities but is needed if user wants to .
