Determining what views are created for certain structure

Hi!
I need to create some views to structure in Development system as it is done in Production system already. It is something like manual transfer of structure and it's views from Production to Developement system (special case).
My question is this: how to determine what views are created for certain structure?
Will reward,
Mindaugas

Use 'Where-used' list for that structure.
Go to SE11.
Enter the structure name.
click on the Where-used list button in the toolbar.
Select the applicable options. (In your case 'Views')

  • How do I determine what xtras are needed?

From the searching I have done it appears that xtras equired are mostly trial-and-error.
Is there an efficient way to determine what xtras are needed for each lindividual movie?
My programs are divided into a series of sequential movies.  At the end of each movie
there is a goto statement to launch the next movie.  Does that require me to determine
    xtras for each separate movie?
In a perfect world there would be a way for Director to search a  folder for and present an aggregate list of all xtras required for that set of movies.
If no such method exists, what is the recommended hunt and peck system?

Thanks for the response, rduane.  But I refer to the procedures as a bit random for the reasons you mentioned in your explanation.  For example, you stated that, "Director will normally add all of the Xtras that you need to each movie as you build it".  And, yes, I know that it does add some automatically.  But, if Director really does "add all of the xtras that you need to each movie as it is built", how could I ever jump to one that is missing a needed xtra?  If it needs it, why wasn't it added when it was built?
So, that's the reason I mentioned "trial and error", and "hunt and peck".  The system is not reliable in its handling of xtras, or which ones are needed where.  I am familiar with workarounds such as going to each movie and selecting Modify>Movies>Xtras to see which ones Director has added,  But that is all it tells you.  It does not tell you if it has added all the xtras "needed".  And when the error message comes up, it does name the missing xtra, but not which movie needs it.  So, one has to go find the named xtra and copy it over to the Xtras folder.
At least, that's what I do to fix it.  But I asked the question because I wanted to know if Xtras handling itself is unreliable, or if I'm doing something incorrectly.

  • Sales Orders not to be created for certain customers via legacy

    Hi,
We have an inbound interface from legacy into SAP which creates Sales Orders in SAP. But we have a requirement where the business does not want sales orders to be created for certain customers in SAP via the interface.
To prevent the sales orders from being created for those customers via the interface, we have created entries in the look-up tables (Hope other projects also use lookup tables and are aware of what are look-up tables). But still the sales orders are being created in SAP for those customers via the interface.
What else should we do to prevent the sales orders from being created for those customers.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi ABAP gurus, need your help on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can I determine what clients are connected to my weblogic server?

Hi, is there anyway of determining what clients are connected to my Weblogic 8.1 server - I want this information to be generated for me, not by maintaining a list when clients login initially to the server.
Also is there any thing that gets fired when a client terminates prematurely - for example being killed by the task manager. I need to know this, so the server knows what users are currently logged in, to prevent a user logging in twice (via the same username login).
    Cheers,

I would like to try to determine if there is a way to determine what applications are using SMB to communicate to the network. Any thoughts?

Thanks Kurt. We are attempting to find the cause of the notorious two-minute spinning beachball delay. Thanks a lot

    Hi Vinay,
    1. For DP_PROC_TY  you need to give the transaction type or R/3 document type you want to use for creating direct material POs. Could be ECDP given in the standard or copy of which you might  have created.
    2. For CT_PROC_TY it is either PCTR or GCTR depending what you want to create local contract or GOA.
    3. TEND_TYPE can have BID, RFCR etc depending on what type of bid invitaion you want to create form sourcing cockpit or as follow on bid invitaion.

  • Maintenance orders are created for FL/equipment only ?

    Hi all,
"maintenance orders are created for FL/equipment only".
How can i to understander this sentence, i use t-code: iw31 to create a maintenance order, and the 'Assembly' field can be entered. so how can i to create a maintenance order just for FL/equipment only ?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Ivy Lu

    Hi Praveen,
It's not a message. i got this sentence from the following information:
Q7: When you maintain an assembly in a piece of equipment, is it possible to get maintenance history of the assembly? Do you have to create it as a piece of equipment?
A7: As maintenance orders are created for FL/equipment only, maintenance history can only be tracked at that level, not at assembly level.  Assemblies are mere structuring devices to have spare parts linked to an equipment in a structured manner. However, in PM orders, you can mention the assembly along with the FL/Eq. Depending on your reporting needs, an ABAPer could use the 'PM Assembly' field in PM orders.
    Best regards,

  • What updates are available for Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30)?

What updates are available for Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30)?

Before embarking on a major OS upgrade, it would be wise, advisable and very prudent if you backup your current system to an external connected and Mac formatted Flash drive OR externally connected USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Then, use either OS X Time Machine app to backup your entire system to the external drive OR purchase, install and use a data cloning app, like CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper, to make an exact and bootable copy (clone) of your entire Mac's internal hard drive. This step is really needed in case something goes wrong with the install of the new OS or you simply do not like the new OS, you have a very easy way/procedure to return your Mac to its former working state.
Then, determine if your Mac meets ALL minimum system install requirements.
Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard system requirements
    Purchased Installer disc here.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
To install Snow Leopard for the first time, you must have a Mac with:
    An Intel processor
An internal or external DVD drive, or DVD or CD Sharing
At least 1 GB of RAM (additional RAM is recommended)
A built-in display or a display connected to an Apple-supplied video card supported by your computer
At least 5 GB of disk space available, or 7 GB of disk space if you install the developer tools
Installing and updating OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to OS X 10.6.8 gives your Mac access to the Mac App Store where you can decide which version of OS X to upgrade to, again, if you desire.
    OS X Lion system requirements
    Purchased emailed download code here.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
To use Lion, make sure your computer has the following:
An Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
Mac OS X v10.6.6 or later to install via the Mac App Store (v10.6.8 recommended)
7 GB of available disk space
    2 GB of RAM
To install OS X  10.8 Mountain Lion or OS X 10.10 Yosemite.you need one of these Macs:
OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion purchased emailed download code here.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/os-x-mountain-lion
    iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
    MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
    Your Mac also needs:
OS X Mountain Lion, Lion, or Snow Leopard v10.6.8 already installed
2 GB or more of memory (I strongly advise, at least, 4 GBs of RAM or more)
8 GB or more of available space.
Your year and model Mac can take a total of 6 GBs of RAM, max..
I strongly suggest you install the max. RAM your Mac can take.
Correct, compatible and reliable Mac RAM can ONLY be purchased from online RAM sources Crucial memory or OWC (macsales.com).
OWC is the only source for the  6 GB RAM kit.
    Next,
If you run any older Mac software from the earlier PowerPC Macs, then none of this software will work with the newer OS X versions (10.7 and onward). OS X Snow Leopard had a magical and invisible PowerPC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background that still allowed older PowerPC coded software to still operate in a Intel CPU Mac.
The use of Rosetta ended with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application was licensed to Apple, from a software company called Transitive, which got bought out, I believe, by IBM and Appe  could no longer secure their rights to continue to use Rosetta in later versions of OS X.
So, you would need to check to see if you have software on your Mac that maybe older than, say, 2006 or older.
Also, check for app compatibilty  here.
    http://roaringapps.com/
If you have any commercial antivirus installed and/or hard drive cleaning apps installed on your Mac, like MacKeeper, CleanMyMac, TuneUpMyMac, MacCleanse, etc. now would be a good time to completely uninstall this apps by doing a Google search to learn how to properly uninstall these types of apps.
These types of apps will only cause your Mac issues later after the install of the new OS X version and you will have to completely uninstall these types of apps later.
Once you have determined all of this, you should be able to find the latest versions of OS X by clicking on the Mac App Store icon in the OS X Dock and then login to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID and password and using the appropriate download codes need
You can then begin the download and installation process of installing your desired versions of OS X  from the Mac App Store.

  • Unable to shut down imac. dialogue - The Finder can't quit because some operations are still in progress. How do I determine what operations are still running?

I have an iMac (Mid 2007) Intel with Mac OS Lion 10.7.4  For some reason I am unable to shut down my computer.  The dialogue box says The Finder can’t quit because some operations are still in progress. How do I determine what operations are still running?  I have no clue?  Obviously not a sophisticated user.

  • How do I determine what commands are associated to Priv 2 - 14

I don't want to create Command Authorisation sets just used a priv level. I'm having trouble determining what commands are assigned to what priv level?

By default, there are three command levels on the router:
privilege level 0 - Includes the disable, enable, exit, help, and logout commands.
privilege level 1 - Normal level on Telnet; includes all user-level commands at the router> prompt.
privilege level 15 - Includes all enable-level commands at the router# prompt
Commands at level 2-14 are blank by default BUT you always have access to all commands at your level and below so if you are at level 4 you have access to commands at levels 0 and 1
Hope that helps, rate if it does

Did not see this in the user manual but could have missed it.

    I found my specs:
    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU           E5405  @ 2.00GHz
You are correct. An E series.
I was so focused on the upgrade to the X5420 that I forgot what the system came with.
So what should I set my sensor high value to on my sensor program that shows up on the panel (taskbar)?
For the E5405 or the X5420?
SIDE NOTE: where can I get 2 E5420s or better cheap?
Not ready to give up my filters just yet. I live in a dust factory!
My girl friend sews really nice bags but creates sewing dust and fuzz.
And well there are natural fibers everywhere...
    So other than the the X5492 (150watts),  the X5482, X5472,  X5470, X5460, X5450 are all 120 watts.
Like the bulk of the X series...
    The E5405, E5410, E5450, E5440, E5420, E5430, E5470, E5462, E5472 are all 80 watts.
The L series seems to all be 50 Watts.

  • How many SECONDARY INDEXES are created for CLUSTER TABLES?

how many SECONDARY INDEXES are created for CLUSTER TABLES?
    please explain.

There seems to be some kind of misunderstanding here. You cannot create a secondary index on a cluster table. A cluster table does not exist as a separate physical table in the database; it is part of a "physical cluster". In the case of BSEG for instance, the physical cluster is RFBLG. The only fields of the cluster table that also exist as fields of the physical cluster are the leading fields of the primary key. Taking again BSEG as the example, the primary key includes the fields MANDT, BUKRS, BELNR, GJAHR, BUZEI. If you look at the structure of the RFBLG table, you will see that it has primary key fields MANDT, BUKRS, BELNR, GJAHR, PAGENO. The first four fields are those that all cluster tables inside BSEG have in common. The fifth field, PAGENO, is a "technical" field giving the sequence number of the current record in the series of cluster records sharing the same primary key.
All the "functional" fields of the cluster table (for BSEG this is field BUZEI and everything beyond that) exist only inside a raw binary object. The database does not know about these fields, it only sees the raw object (the field VARDATA of the physical cluster). Since the field does not exist in the database, it is impossible to create a secondary index on it. If you try to create a secondary index on a cluster table in transaction SE11, you will therefore rightly get the error "Index maintenance only possible for transparent tables".
Theoretically you could get around this by converting the cluster table to a transparent table. You can do this in the SAP dictionary. However, in practice this is almost never a good solution. The table becomes much larger (clusters are compressed) and you lose the advantage that related records are stored close to each other (the main reason for having cluster tables in the first place). Apart from the performance and disk space hit, converting a big cluster table like BSEG to transparent would take extremely long.
In cases where "indexing" of fields of a cluster table is worthwhile, SAP has constructed "indexing tables" around the cluster. For example, around BSEG there are transparent tables like BSIS, BSAS, etc. Other clusters normally do not have this, but that simply means there is no reason for having it. I have worked with the SAP dictionary for over 12 years and I have never met a single case where it was necessary to convert a cluster to transparent.
If you try to select on specific values of a non-transparent field in a cluster without also specifying selections for the primary key, then the database will have to do a serial read of the whole physical cluster (and the ABAP DB interface will have to decompress every single record to extract the fields). The performance of that is monstrous -- maybe that was the reason of your question. However, the solution then is (in the case of BSEG) to query via one of the index tables (where you are free to create secondary indexes since those tables are transparent).
