Determining Which Accounts are Authorized on a Mac

I have two old Macs which I am going to sell. I understand how to deauthorize them and have done so. Or so I think. The "fly in the ointment" is that in iTunes in the Store Menu, there is still an option to "Deauthorize This Computer" option after having, as I said, reauthorized the only known account ( I have owned the machines since new and have never had any other users).
So, does the option to "Deauthorize This Computer" remain because iTunes is aware of other accounts that might still be authorized, or am I overthinking it? A point in favor of my possibly overthinking it is that there is an option remaining to "Deauthorize Audible Account" in the Advanced menu, after having done so already with the only Audible account I know about.
Thanks for any bits o' wisdom and advice!
Gary

It's simply there because you may either de-authorized it or all computers from that computer. It is not an indication that the computer is not de-authorized if, in fact, you have de-authorized it.

  • How to view which accounts are authorized on a computer

My question is not how to authorize or deauthorize my account on a computer. My question is how to find out which account(s) you have authorized on one specific computer.
I share my iTunes Library with my family so we have had six or eight iTunes accounts over the years. We are moving to a new computer and we can't remember which accounts are authorized for our music library.
If we could find out the usernames, we would know the passwords. Any way to see which accounts you have authorized on a computer?

  • HT1420 Is it possible to determine which machines are Itunes authorized?

Is it possible to determine which machines are Itunes authorized so I can only deauthorize one or is it not possible to see a list of your authorized machines?

Sorry but no. All you can see is a total account, not a list of individual systems that are authorized. If you want to deauthorize only a single computer, you need to do that from that computer.

  • Is there a way to determine which rows are inserted in JDT1 table by the system automatically?

    Hi,
Is there a way to determine which rows are inserted in JDT1 table by the system automatically? Example, many GLs which are mapped in GL Account Determination, like Foreign Exchange Gain / Loss, Rounding Account, etc. are inserted by the system automatically in the Journal Entry on various scenarios, like during Incoming Payment, etc.
Which SQL query can give me those rows? Basically the WHERE condition should be based on which column or multiple columns in JDT1 table?
    Thanks.

    Hi Rajesh,
I'm not entirely sure but I think the TransId is the same in the header that belongs to the transaction.
    OINV.TransId = JDT1.TransId

  • How do I see which computers are authorized?

I am trying to find out why ITunes says that I have 3 computers listed when we only have 2 computers but I can't seem to see which individual computers are part of my account? Any thoughts? Thanks.

In order to see which devices are authorized on your account:
    Open iTunes
    Click Store
    Click Account
    Click View Account
    Enter your password
Look in the second section iTunes in the Cloud
To the far right you'll see Manage Devices
Once it's clicked you will see all of the devices currently authorized in iTunes/on your account
I was going to say, "Hope this helps," but based on the above, I'm pretty sure it did!
    Thanks guys...

I have about 5,000 images in a Folder.  How can I determine which images are NOT in a Collection?

Create a smart collection with criteria "collection" and "does not contain"; and also with criterion Folder contains (or folder contains all)
That works if you are thinking about a specific named collection.
If you are interested in finding photos that are not in ANY collection, the usual trick is "collection" "does not contain" "a e i o u y"

  • How can i determine which devices are used at the moment?

    Hi all,
I am designing an interface with LabVIEW for uing agilent devices. My work colleagues will use this interface.  I want to determine which devices are used at the moment and if I determine used device, i will add automatically device names to interface's main vi. So all my work colleagues can see on the program which devices are used by another colleague. This devices are connected with GPIB. İ want to learn is there any function on Instrument I/O palette.
    Thanks,
    Omer
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Omer,
so those devices are connected to the PC with a GPIB connection. Will your collegues run several DAQ programs at the same time?
GPIB-devices being controlled by PC don't have a "in use"-signal. They wait for commands, execute them and send an answer. When you start to control them using two programs they may respond to both programs, mixing up settings/measurement values and so on.
That being said: In MAX you can see all devices connected to your GPIB port. You could scan the GPIB port using VISA commands in your program. You might even try to access a certain device by it's VISA alias. I really don't know if you will get a "device nopt available" error message when that VISA alias is in use by a different program - but you might do a quick test on your own…

  • How to determine which elements are queryable via Web Services QueryPage

I am trying to query opportunities by associated opportunity product revenue records, but I continue to receive errors like "Unexpected text: = '9598015'".
From reviewing the forums, it looks like this is when I am querying a field that is not defined to be queryable.
Could someone please tell me how to determine which fields are queryable on a particular record type like this? I have tried using basic short text fields and indexed short text fields - but continue to receive the error message above.
    Thanks in advance.

I found at least partial answers to my questions.
MessageContext.getPropertyNames() can be used to see the properties on a given flow.
MessageContext.getProperty(prop) can be used to get information for paroperties such as:
    prop=javax.xml.rpc.service.endpoint.address
    prop=wsdl.portName

    You cannot.
Some people wish there was a way to print out a list of authorized computers that would look like "Suzy's laptop,  Dad's Macbook, and the desktop we threw away last year."  But there is no way to do so.
It is especially confusing, since a single machine may be using up multiple authorizations.  Also, authorizations may be used up by machines that do not even exist any more.
If you are at the limit, you can use the Deauthorize All command,  and then reauthorize just the ones you need.

    Hello.
    I get this error message
iTunes can not sync apps to the iPhone because it can not be determined which apps are installed on the iPhone.
iTunes kann keine Apps mit dem iPhone synchronisieren weil nicht festgestellt werden kann welche Apps auf dem iPhone installiert sind.

Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore.  Have the first two been tried?
How about simply unplugging the iPhone and plugging it back in to sync?
What has been done in an attempt to troubleshoot the issue?

  • Determining which services are associated with which programs

In the Services Preferences, Services submenu, how does one determine which services are associated with which programs?

Danged if I know! I just took a guess and enabled the ones I wanted, then tried what came up to see which program launched to do it. Some are easy: "Copy to Tex-Edit Plus" will obviously use the program Tex-Edit Plus. But I have no idea which program owns "New Document Containing Selection" and since I want TextEdit to handle that sort of thing I unchecked it, and simply checked "New TextEdit Window Containing Selection" because that's obviously TextEdit. I left "New Window with Selection" checked, and then tried it, and TextWrangler launched. OK, I do sometimes use it, so I left it checked. But it would be nice if it declared itself in the Service list so you could tell what program is going to do which thing. However, that is not Apple's fault--it is the fault of the application, someone just didn't bother to write a proper line for the system to display that would tell the user what application it is. That is probably because in the "old" Services menu items were arranged in folders by application, so there was no special need to have the service itself declare to whom it belonged. Perhaps this situation will change as applications are updated for Snow Leopard.
I happen to know that the Services are declared to the system by the application, and the place this comes from is the Info.plist of the application, which is inside the application bundle. You can open this and check the plist: the service will be listed in the NSServices section in the NSMenuItem default field. Not something most people would ever want to do, you have to open the bundle then open the plist with Property List Editor.
Meantime, I think trial and error is the only way to tell where the service is coming from. I would be delighted if someone knows otherwise.
