[\dev\stingray\Backend\Src\Sequence\TrackItemFactory.cpp-132]

When I go to burn my project to the disk a window pops up reading
Adobe Encore DVD Error:
And then there is a red circle with a white arrow in the middle and next to it reads : Adobe Encore has encountered an error.

  • Audition has encountered an error. [\premiere2.0\Backend\Src\Time\Time.cpp-104]

When playing audio in the edit window when using the Spectral Frequency Display, Audition 3 keeps hanging and when it does so it causes the display to get screwd up. Not just the Audition window, but any others including the icons, task bar etc. Some times it also displays the following error message:
    Audition Error
    Audition has encountered an error.
    [\premiere2.0\Backend\Src\Time\Time.cpp-104]
Once this happens the computer has to be re-booted, programs don't run, or are very slow.
To give you an idea of what the screen looks like, I have managed to take a screenshot: http://www.mikeoates.org/misc/audition_screenshot.jpg
This is driving me mad, I can't get any work done, it happens many times an hour. There is nothing that has been changed that I am aware of. To try and sort it out I have got the latest graphics drivers, added the 3.01 patch. I am using Windows XP SP3.
    Thank you,

    Dean & Runaway,
Thank you both for your help, based on what you have posted including the links to other topics, I think I am making some progress.
Firstly based on the assumption that something has changed, I do recall that one of the times Audition hung, when I rebooted and run it again, the colours had changed in the Spectrum display. So I went into the Spectral Controls window and made some changes to get the colours back, but I also changed the resolution to 1024 from 512. Now I think this may have been about the time that the frequency of these problems increased. So with that in mind I have been back into those settings and reset them back to default (a good place to start). This seemed to help a great deal in that I could play and fast scroll through over one hours audio before a hang.
So I also rolled back the video drivers to those I have been using for years, in fact these are dated 2004. This did not seem to improve things, so I then changed the screen resolution for my monitor from 1900x1200 to 1680x1050. Now I have just gone through 4 hours of audio with NO HANG. Things are looking good, so I will leave things as they are and report back perhaps in a few days.
Just going back a few months, the hangs were very intermittent and may happen once a week or so, this seemed to increase in the past few weeks, possibly after the settings changes to the Spectral Controls. Why it started to happen in the first place though, I dont think I will ever get to the bottom of.
    I will keep you posted.

  • Premiere Pro error message [/Scully64/shared/adobe/MediaCore/Backend/Make/Mac/../../Src/Sequence/Tra

    Hello,
Does anyone have any ideas for a solution to the following Premiere Pro CS 5 error message? Any tips/ideas would be appreciated! Full error message below:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [/Scully64/shared/adobe/MediaCore/Backend/Make/Mac/../../Src/Sequence/TrackItem.cpp-177]
Error message occurs when editing/cutting out parts of footage to intergrate into a timeline sequence, when this error appears unable to continue using Premiere
Footage contains MP4 and AAC (audio)
using Premiere Pro CS5 v5.0.4, running on Mac OS X 10.9.1 (Marvericks) on Macbook pro (early 2011) with processor speed 2.7GHz (Core i7), 64-bit, 500 SATA, 4GB memory.

    1.  I did use PluralEyes to sync it, its a 3 camera shoot plus separate audio capture.  I am running the latest version of Plural Eyes 3.
    2.  as far as I know I'm up to date on everything, I am running an 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac with an AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB graphics card, with 10.9.2
    3.  It was triggered by a specific clip, which oddly enough was a clip that Plural Eyes didn't sync with the audio, I was able to trim the clip in the timeline, then it worked fine.
However, I just started a new project and I am having the same issue.
    4.  Tried the new sequence trick, didn't work
    5.  Tried this as well, no luck
Seems like the only work around was to trim the clip, then I was able to do what I needed and had no other problems on that project, but like I said it has no reappeared on a new project.  For clarity sake it is different footage but shoot on the same camera, just on a different date

  • PP crashing while working in Sequence [\TrackItemTrack.cpp-639]

    Hi,
first Post, I'll try to do well in first attempt.
PP 5.5 is crashing with this Debug Event PopUp
    [..\Src\Sequence\TrackItemTrack.cpp-639]
let's me "continue" and then it is broken.
This happens I think randomly soon after I start working with the project. Once it happened right when I right-clicked on a clip in the sequence, but it also happens while watching a tape.
First it was either this or an slightly different error, I tried to fix by removing some .jpg images from the library and the cache folder which made the error to occur "later" after opening the project again.
Now, I tried to disable - enable my sequence content and to import the sequence from another copy of the project.
    PP5.5
    Windows 7 64-bit
PP on Windows SSD (120 gb)
1440*1080 HD Material on 1tb HDD
Radeon HD 4870 with 11.10 driver
Speedfan shows normal temperatures Procces Explorer shows http://imgur.com/MH10T
    PP Screenshot http://imgur.com/rHhFW
Edit: Also, when I want to add clips from Source Monitor, they seem at normal size when moving over the sequence and seem shortened when placing them. And this happens also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCZ0nsU6c88

Congrats on a nicely documented first post. The only thing missing is a screenshot of the error message itself and when exactly it happens and where on the timeline when playing, so we may be able to reproduce that error.
Your Process Explorer screenshots are very nice to see. Your system with only two disks and stuck in software MPE mode, due to the Radeon card, can use all the help it can get to make for comfortable editing. From that perspective you should really tune your system. See this link that also applies to Win7: Adobe Forums: Guide for installing and tuning a Vista...
From a quick look at all the processes running, I assume you still have the sidebar installed. If so, completely uninstall it from Control Panel. Kill all the Apple processes like iTunes, iPod, mDNSResponder. Do the same for all the G Data anti virus and firewall processes, kill all the unnecessary Logitech utilities and possibly the Acronis imaging software. That will free a lot of resources, making for a snappier editing experience. Last, don't run Chrome when editing.

  • Error message = [\dev\stingray\Libraries\Asl\Foundation\Src\DirectoryRegistry.cpp-174] plz help.

I have CS2 (education version) and my Premier Pro 2.0 gives me the following error when i try to load it: \dev\stingray\Libraries\Asl\Foundation\Src\DirectoryRegistry.cpp-174
and will not load. All other CS2 applications are working. This program was working about a year ago so I'm not sure why or when it stopped. The only thing i can find on the web is a possible conflict with Matrox, which i do not have, and mention of possible conflict with some codex but no hint as to what kind or which ones or the like. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

These similar errors might provide a solution:

    Error:DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283

I'm getting the error message below while editing in Premiere Pro CS5. Not sure what is triggering it because it has happened when doing different things.  Started 2 days ago.   The program then closes but I can Save before it closes.  A co-worker who knows I am new to Mac asked me if I was doing automatic updates.  He said NOT to do this.  Is this correct and would it have anything to do with the error message below?  How can I fix?  Thanks!

I am curious if you remedied your' problem? I am running into a simliar issue. I am running Premiere 5.5 working on a large project on a Dell Precision M6600. I have had a few issues with the same project, Premiere has been shutting down, auto save not saving as often as it is set and most recent what has brought me here; I minimized the screen to check an email and when I returned I saw an incomplete save bar and moments later an error message from premiere popped up.
    [..\..\Src\Component\ComponentChain.cpp-498]
My Premiere is now frozen (can't quit, even force close from task manager), faded with a save window open (the save bar is full but also faded).
I was wondering if you or anyone on here has any recommendations?

  • Premiere Pro (CS6) - Windows 8 - [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-814] error

    Hello
Im currently having some issues with Premiero Pro (via creative suite 6) on a Windows 8 64 bit machine after reinstalling due to an error resulting in the encoding sequence crashing/hanging and remaining on 0% indefinitly
Video and audio were both taken via the same machine and are both in .MP4 format. The project will render correctly however will not export
Upon selection of export with match sequence settings enabled I receive the error box saying:
    Premiere Pro Debug Event
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-814]
Upon closing the error the screen returns back to the work space. with an error box saying:Error compiling movie - unknown error. After this it again shows the infinite encoding screen.
I have tried uninstalling the programme and running any updates etc however I am unable to get it to work.
Would really appreciate an answer to this.Uninstalling and reinstalling is in itself a pain.
    Many thanks

I can't give direct help with that error, but some reading that MAY help... These notes are (mostly) for Encore, but some ideas that may help

  • ..\..\Src\AudioRender\AudioPrefetch.cpp-99   error message and what caused it.

I found that when I zoomed into the sequence a lot using the +- keys, that the error message "..\..\Src\AudioRender\AudioPrefetch.cpp-99" kept jumping out at me. It was the last 3 steps of zooming in or out that brought the error message up on screen - a lot of times. It was only happening in one sequence in a particular project. I tried the suggestions for similar error messages that I found on this forum, but I eventually realised that in this project I had a WMV file (PowerPoint exported as a WMV file) which also had *audio* with it. (All the other sequences have WMV files but without audio.)
Going to the troublesome sequence and deleting the sound track from the WMV file fixed the problem. Next, I deleted the WMV file and put it back again. No error message. I then dropped the audio level to zero using the yellow line and the problem came back.
There is one other thing, the PowerPoint WMV file is 30fps and I’m in PAL land, so I interpreted the frame rate to 25fps. (So that PowerPoint transitions and movements etc. are smoother). I re-imported the original 30fps WMV file and put that in the sequence as 30 fps. Lowered the audio level to zero, and zoomed into the sequence. No error messages.
So it looks like a combination of WMV file, interpreting the footage and lowering the audio level to zero that caused this problem.
Do I need to post this somewhere so that Adobe gets to see this bug? (OK it is a rather unlikely combination of events.)

It's not as unlikely as you think. I just ran into the same exact thing. But I don't think it's the WMV.
I'm using footage from a Canon 5D Mark III shot at 60fps, then interpreted to 23.976 and dropped in a 23.976 timeline. I've also adjusted the volume on some of these clips, but not down to -∞. Since the error is "...AudioRender/AudioPrefetch.cpp-99" it makes sense that this is an audio related issue. I have also noticed that in the timeline, my yellow levels line and waveforms disappear when this error comes up.
So far I've been able to get around this bug by copying the clips into a new timeline, but this eventually comes back again.
The one question I have, is are you editing from an external hard drive? I've been editing at work off an external, then backing it up and working off internal drives when I get home. My external drive has been disconnecting itself lately, but it's never been around or at the same time as this error. Thought I'd still check with others though.

Im sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I dont know what else to do. When i use AME or Export as Movie Im getting the ugly [..\..\Src\pp\\PPixHandleUtilities.cpp-114] error! Afterwards i get an unable to compile error. i have scoured the internet looking for answers. I have tried a few of the solutions but nothing seems to work. I have a project for my college class im working on and i need to figure this out. To start over would be a hefty process that does not sound like something i want to do. Any advice on what i can do or where i should to look for answers would be great! Thanks!
So far i have tried zooming all the way in on my tracks and looking for blank spots, i have tried adding a transparent video on the top layer spanning the entire sequence, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, importing my project into another project, using different project setting, different export settings, and so far nothing has seemed to work.
I know its ancient but im running CS3 and my machine is running AMD Quad-Core Processor with 8GB ram.

Since your duplicate thread has been closed and all replies directed to this one, I wanted to make sure that you did not miss my message going between threads.
The following is a copy/paste of what I wrote in your now closed thread:
    James Neston
Please avoid duplicate posts since they tend to confuse the person writing them as well as the people trying to respond to the question.
I have seen the error that you present appear often, but I have not seen an agreed on the resolution, if a resolution at all.
What I would do first is to update your Premiere Elements 12 to 12.1. See the opened project's Help Menu/Updates. If the problem persists after the update to 12.1, then let us look at the Scratch Disk set up and situation.
When you go to Expert workspace, Edit Menu/Preferences/Scratch Disks, where are all the categories directed to on the computer hard drive and how much free space is at the location(s)?
Did you install Premiere Elements 12 to its default location or other. If other, where?
There are a lot of Troubleshooting avenues to go down (some old, some new, some questionable), but let us start with the above and then decide what next.
But before all that, please respond to the questions already asked you by SG.
    Thanks.
