Develop mode toolbar has two versions

In Develop mode my catalog toolbar has two versions depending on the photo I'm working on.

Means some have been processed in Process Version 2010 and some in PV2012.

RubyCocoa problem seeing Ruby Gems with two versions of ruby

As a Ruby and RubyCocoa newbie I am confused by one particular mess that I seem to have gotten myself in to.
If I understand what is going on at my end, my Leopard installation has two versions of Ruby installed: on the one hand I have Ruby 1.8.6 with a whole host of gems installed, and then XCode 3 seems to use a separate Ruby 1.8 installation as part of RubyCocoa.
Now I have previously written some code, which uses XMLsimple, and which runs fine in my Ruby 1.8.6 setup. However the same code will not run when I bring it in to a simple RubyCocoa app that I am experimenting with. The problem seems to be that the xmlsimple gem is not installed; I get the following Load Error message:
`gemoriginalrequire': no such file to load -- xmlsimple (LoadError)
from /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/rubygem s/custom_require.rb:27:in `require'
Now I assume this means that the gem is missing under the Ruby 1.8 installation that RubyCocoa uses; since I have verified that the xmlsimple gem is available to the Ruby 1.8.6 installation.
My question is therefore how can I install xmlsimple under this Ruby 1.8 installation. The standard 'sudo gem install xml-simple' obviously installs the gem under my default Ruby 1.8.6.
I hope someone can help with what I am sure will turn out to be very simple question borne out of my own inexperience!

How to update a package between two versions

I have a package that has two versions, for example: app_1.0 and app_2.0. How can I update the app_2.0 to a system that already installed the app_1.0. I want to overwrite the app_2.0 to the app_1.0 instead of installing another instance of app_2.0.

I don't know why you want to put a space between the numbers and the percentage sign as that is not standard practice, but:
+Select last number and % > Inspector > Text > Text > Spacing > Character > drag to the right+

There are two versions of Oracle 12c RDF Developer's Guide, one has the SQL insert as

Two versions of Developer, same machine

I need to use a single machine to access two different applications, one using Developer 2000 v4x and one using Developer v6. What is Oracle's support stance for a machine that has two different versions of Developer loaded on it? Can it work efficiently and/or effectively? How? Thanks for any help.

You can install different versions of Developer on a same machine. Some of the Developer versions supports multiple ORACLE_HOME installations also.
eg: Forms/Reports 6i can be installed in a separate ORACLE_HOME.
The Release notes lists all the Developer versions which are supported on same ORACLE_HOME.
Following are the versions of Developer which can be installed on the same ORACLE_HOME as Developer 6.0,
1. Developer 1.6.1
2. Developer 2.1

Sorry about my previous message. Anyways As I was saying I'm trying to Install Developer 2.1 and Developer 6.0 in the Same machine. By default both installations are install in the same Oracle Home Directory C:\ORANT and the same registry Key ORACLE. For Develop 2.1 I have to make some changes to the Registry under the ORACLE key. How can I make this two version coexist in the same machine? What version I have to install first to have a succesfull installation?
Is there any instrucion I can reference to in the Web?

Filename on Toolbar in Develop Mode

When I minimize the filmstrip in Library mode, I can still see the filename in the toolbar content at the bottom.
When I'm in Develop mode with the filmstrip minimized, their is no choice to show the filename on the toolbar content, nor does the filename show up anywhere else on that main screen. It forces me to pop up the filmstrip each time I want to see the filename.
Having the filename on the toolbar content in Develop mode would be nice if it's possible.

I agree that it would be better to have the filename on the bottom bar, but that's something to bring up with Adobe. This forum is the place to look for workarounds, and Richard provided one.
It's possible to specify that Information show only the file name and to leave it up constantly (View/View options...). It can be turned off (via the I key) when the filename masks part of the image.

My Tone Curve has disappeared from my develop mode

I've lost my tone curve application in the develop mode - how do I find it again?

Right-click on one of the other panel headings and make sure there is a checkmark in Tone Curve.
Or, press Ctrl(Cmd Mac)/2.

Second screen Full screen preview - library and develop mode next to eachother?

I got a two Display Setup.
I like to have the current selected Image in "Develop Mode" Fullscreen on the big display and all the sliders on the smaller second Screen togeather with the overview of the Library.
How is that possible?

I've seen that in the past with other versions of LR. It usually means that your previews database has got messed up. Deleting all previews, previews.db and root-pixels.db, and clearing the acr cache, and then creating new previews solved it for me. It took a day or two (65K previews)

My AVG safesearch toolbar has disappeared and I cannot seem to make it reappear.

I have two problems.
1.I finally downloaded the latest version of Firefox, which I had been trying to avoid since the last time I did so I had numerous problems. Now that I have done so, my AVG safe search toolbar has disappeared.
2. In addition, when I previously visited secure sites, I could tell because a yellow padlock symbol would appear in the bottom right hand corner of the page. This has now gone, so I have no way of knowing if I am on a SSL site or not and I am worried by this as I do all my banking and shopping online.
Can anyone please advise me on these matters? Thanks.

Latest update: AVG has released an update version; 2012.0.2126 which fixed the AVG Safe Search add-on. If you upgrade to this version, your AVG Safe Search add-on will be ENABLED again by FF. Also AVG had added another add-on called "AVG Do-Not-Track". You can install it if you want it, which is an option when you upgrade.

Image in Develop mode - Orange Tint

I'm having an issue with my images when I switch to Develop mode. There is an orange tint that appears in each image while I'm tweaking it. Sometimes the tint is minor like the example I've attached and other times it makes it very difficult to edit the image. When I return to Library mode or export the image it's normal.
I've attached the same image in both Library and Develop mode to illustrate the issue. I've highlighted the problem areas with Yellow call-outs in the image that's open in Develop mode (note no adjustments have been made the tint appears as soon as I switch to Develop).
My system uses two video drivers (they are current as of today):
Intel HD Graphics 4000, Driver version 10.18.10.3621
NVIDIA NVS 5200M, Driver version 340.84

Why "previous" box and sometimes "sync" box in develop mode.

In Lightroom 4 develop mode, I have noticed that at the bottom of the righthand column there is a button, sometimes marked "sync" and at others marked "previous". It seems to change randomly between the two and I don't know why. I prefer it to be "previous". Can anyone explain why it changes and what I can do to return it to "previous" if it has changed to "sync"?
