Develop tab missing in Admin Console

Hi,
Ive tried contacting customer support twice - no response. I have a site that is not showing Develop tab. Im new to BC - however the develop tab is showing on one site ive tried.
Can someone please help me?

Historical Reports Link Missing in Admin Console Menu

Hi,
We have a weird situation in a new installation. In Admin Console Menu Historical Reports Link does not appear. I have checked WIN table, it seems ok, there is a row for Historical Report, also all records about historical reports inside xlWebAdmin.properties and xlDefaultAdmin.properties files are there.
Any ideas why this link happens to be missing?

I'd bid that the audit module is not installed then. At least in UPA_USR you'd see the row that belongs to the XELSYSADM user. I don't know if you can manually enable it someway.
If you have any free dev machine (or in a VM), I'd advice you to make a fresh install of OIM without the audit module, and see if the resulting system seems to your actual one. Installing in a XP environment under JBOSS won't take you more than 30 minutes.

Access to Sessions Tab Only - OpenSSO Admin Console

Is there a way to setup a user who has access to log into the OpenSSO admin console but can only see the Sessions Tab and furthermore only see the sessions for a particular realm? If so, how?

TREX httpserver red in TREX admin console after install v7.0

I have installed TREX version 7.0 and the httpserver is red in the Services tab of the admin console. When I try to restart it it states "Access Denied, you must be an administrator of the remote computer to use this command."
I am positive that the tsxadm id that I am using is an administrator, since I have checked. Is it trying to use a different id that I am unaware of?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is on a windows 2003 server SP1 with IIS 6.0.

Apparently it was a DCOM error that seems to be fixed after implementing MS KB Article 913119 since I can now restart the server. However it is still in red and has the following error in the trace file:

Missing tabs from WebLogic Server Admin console

I am extremely new to WebLogic. It came with a vendor package we bought, and we do not have support. I have been using ASK to search for answers to my questions/problems. It has become obvious that either I don't know what I am doing :-) or that our installation is less robust than other peoples.
On our Weblogic Server Admin console, there is no such thing as a "Change Center". If I go to Services -> JDBC -> Connection Pools, there is no tab for Testing. The only tabs I have are Configuration and Monitoring. Monitoring only has text on it - no button to push. Do I always have to "configure a new JDBC connection pool" in order to somehow find a TEST tab?
Have we done something wrong during installation? Thank you, anyone, for help and advice.

Lets hope Apple discover the reason for random changes to file flagging and apply to a future update.

My Develop tab (only) is missing in LR4. I can still access it with the shortcut D. Library, Map, Book, Slideshow, etc are all still there. What could I have done? Thank you!!!!

Missing Admin Console Tasks items BPC Administration

Hi All,
We use BPC version 5 for Microsoft.
I have a user who has a problem with missing Admin Console Tasks items. Previously, she was able to access the items. Then she was assigned a new computer. After installing BPC (administration and Excel), now the items are missing. She could access BPC using Excel (normal tasks).
Does anyone has observed and solved this problem before? I checked the Internet Explorer settings (security and Java JRE) and seem fine. Except the Java JRE is bit old (1.6.0_03)

It could be due to few possible reasons....so please check the following on her new computer.
You can do the following using your login credentials - First (to find the issue).
1) Go to client software center and click BPC Client Diagnostic
Check BPC administration Client features. You will know whether you have all necessary softwares available on her new computer or not for installing BPC administration. If any errors it will generate error log.
At the same time you will know whether you are able to access all BPC admin console tasks.
2) Since she is using it for the first time on her new computer. You need to select correct AppSet & Application on current view. So that based on her security profile all necessary BPC admin Console tasks will be enabled.

Right click next to one of the other headers and you will get a pop-up to enable the missing ones.

System tools tabs do not appear in admin console -web center sites

I have set jdk path under serverstart menu of weblogic ,included classpath and preclasspath in setDomainEnv.cmd and have also inculded java_options under startweblogic.cmd ,still system tools tab do no appear.
how to resolve the issue.Please help.

please check the paths as per your installation directories.
restart server then check, it should come.

BC Admin Console Dashboard Tab not working

The dashboard tab in the BC admin console will not open to reveal contens such as web forms. Only Reports and Site Settings are working. I have webBasics with the Creative Cloud Subscription. webBasics INCLUDES everything in the Dashboard tab.

Admin Console: _ADMIN_CACHE_.ZIP missing update

We recently added a new dim member via console and can see the update in Excel. However, we don't see the update in the admin console (while working with member access profiles).
I checked my local dim XML file stored in Documents and Settings folder-I presume this used while in Excel. This file contains the update. The dim XML file contained in my local AdminApp\_ADMIN_CACHE.ZIPdoes not contain the update-I presume this is used by the admin console.
What would cause these two XML files to be out of sync? We are having issues doing a full process of dimensions---it reports "failed" without any reasons. This has been opened w/SAP.
Any ideas are certainly appreciated!
The ADMINCACHE_.ZIP file is stored on the server here:
\OutlookSoft\Data\Webfolders\LiveNation_Finance\System Files
Does anyone know what triggers the creation of this file? What's the impact of processing a dimension via back-end/SSMS, do these files get updated? Would the ADMINCACHE_ZIP file get updated if someone processes a dim on the backend?

James, we added a member to the (secured) dimension, and then went to add it to an access profile. We did not see it in the member browser (admin console). We do see it in Excel's member browser. I opened the XML files that I assume are used by the browsers.
1. C:\Documents and Settings\USERID\My Documents\OutlookSoft\DOMAIN\USERID\AppInfo\APPSET\DIM.xml
2. C:\Documents and Settings\USERID\My Documents\OutlookSoft\Admin\APPSET\AdminAPP\DimCache\DIM.xml
I presume file 1 is used in Excel, and file 2 is used in admin console. File 1 contains the update, and file 2 is missing the update. How can we get file 2 to update, ie, what triggers this file's creation?
Also, likely related, we are unable to do a full process via admin console on most/all dimensions without getting a "failed" message; however the update appears to have worked since we see the change. Additionally, we do a process via backend and receive no errors. Maybe what's failing is the creation of these XML files, ZIPs or other related files? (I'm currently playing email tag with support about this one.)

Extending the OIM Admin Console with an extra tab

I've been busy for some time to add an extra tab to the management console of OIM, the extra tab I succeeded adding it using the supplied documents. But on this tab a table has to be showed which gives the user the possibility to manage the content of that table (just a view on a DB table thus). I've build this application in JDev as an ADF (web)application which I then deploy as ADF library and which then should give me the possibility to add this application using a region.
So in this ADF library I have a page fragment which only contains a region which points to the workflow for the table editing, this fragment is then referred to as described in the "customizing_oim_ui_selfservice_to_add_an_adf_tab.pdf". This all looks to work just fine except for when entering the newly created tab, the tab stays blank and in the logfile I see some messages:

BizTalk Admin console is missing in coinfiguration.

I have installed & configure my installation. unable to find out admin console. . Apart from it.. if any one know run command like (btsmmc.msc) command for BizTalk 2010.

          I have just started to look at clustering and am in the process of running through
          the cluster example tutorial. I have used the domain config wizard to create
          a manged server with a cluster and another server to act as the http proxy. As
          I prefer to use the admin console for all tasks I wondered if there is any way
          to start the managed servers from the console. The reason I ask is that I cannot
          find a way to start another server from the console apart from the admin server.
          On a seperate note can anyone tell me whether the multicast IP address is something
          that I should be concerned with as a developer. The reason I ask is that I know
          it is used for clustered servers to communicate, but how can it do that if the
          IP address is a physical box that does not have BEA installed.

Yes, you can start all managed servers from the console ... Look under the
          cluser that you create and click on the control tab ... you should be able
          to start all the managed servers that will be apart of the cluster there.
          Weblogic uses a service on the local machine called node manager which will
          start and stop the services on each managed server.
          Its good for developers to know something about multicasting as far as what
          it does, how it works but most system administrators all well versed with
          the inner workings of it. You have to have weblogic installed in order for
          that particular box to become apart of the cluster, and you can run multiple
          managed servers on one physical box but be careful with resource intensive
          apps.
