Developer Tool Bar at the bottom

I wanna disable the developer tool bar at the bottom for time being.... for demonstration purpose... can anybody help me how to do that????

This happened to me as well, the mail toolbar disappeared. I had an Exchange mail account that seemed to cause the problem. I went into the General settings under the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars; turned all the setttings under the Exchange account from 'ON' to 'OFF', which fixed it. Then I went back in and re-activated the Exchange account. It fixed the issue for me. Good luck!

Open the Music app.
Tap More on the bottom menu
Tap Edit (upper right)
Drag the icon on or off the lower tool bar to select the functions you want on it.
At step #2, you can also simply select the view you wish to use.
To navigate back to a view that shows the menu (for example, when you are playing a song), tap the < icon (upper left).

I have form with 8 tab pages. I created a horizontal toolbar canvas with some navigational buttons. I want to put the horizontal toolbar at the bottom of the form which is common to all of my tab pages of that particular form.
How can I do that?

Iam not very sure...but let me give it a try. As far as my knowledge goes, horizontal tool bar can be placed only the top side of the form.
For your requirement, u can probably try out placing the buttons on a stacked canvas and display the same for every tab page in your form...

I've lost the tool bar at the bottom of the screen (not MS Task bar) where to I find it?

I figure this happened when my kitties walked on my keyboard. GAH! I used to have a "toolbar" at the bottom of my FF screen. It's where some of my addon icons lived like No Script. It was also where I had the drop up menu for resizing text on the screen. Could someone please tell me how to get this "toolbar" back? I'm not even sure if it's called a toolbar or even a menu bar. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. *crosses fingers*

Ctrl+/ will toggle the addons bar which replaces the Firefox Status Bar.

The Windows XP links tool bar at the bottom of the screen now hides the last line or lines of the browser screen. Why? (V3.6.16)

I use V 3.6.16 and since a recent update, it looked as if I'd lost a line or two at the bottom of the screen. What happened is that the Windows task bar showing quick launch icons, links to running programs (tabs) and the clock, etc., now obscures the last few lines of the browser display. This is since approximately a week. I assume it's due to FF updates rather than to WinXP but of course I don't know. I don't see a problem with other programs. In particular, IE doesn't do it which makes me think it's an issue with FF and it's new. I looked for something under options I could change but couldn't find one. Anyone have an idea?
System is working fine -- Windows XP SP/3 with all updates. Avira antivirus. Thanks!

Oops... sorry! Problem was that the window was not full screen! Darn, I'm a dummy. It was almost full screen so I didn't bother to check. Issue solved. Sorry for the false alarm.

The AniWeather add-on moved from the add-on tool bar on the bottom to the menu bar up top OVERNIGHT WHILE I WAS ASLEEP. I can't get it back to the add-on bar. I have uninstalled and re-installed, and it always goes up top now.

No other details really. I was asleep and aniweather was in one spot, I woke up and it was in another. How do I get it BACK to where it was?!
Obviously, I'm using the FF4 Beta.

Status bar is hidden by default in FF4. You have to make it visible manually. Check here:

Ever since I downloaded Mavericks my HP Scan does not function properly when I launch it from the "tool bar" at the bottom of the screen.

After I scan a document and try to email or save it, I get an error message that the document may be a read only. At that point HP Scan hangs and I have to force quit. I can scan fine from Systems Prefernce, but that is not as convenient.

Uninstall HP Scan and any other HP applications (the drivers are OK, though)

T60 14" SCREEN HAS DEVELOPED A FADED BAR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN.

I have a T60 14" which has developed a constant faded bar at the bottom. the bar is about 10cm in height and makes the screen look like it has two contrast settings. Upper screen is normal and lower faded area looks in high contrast. The faded bar has a constant height of about 10cm from left to right of the screen. I have tested the laptop on external screens and they all work fine which leads me to believe that it is an issue with the screen or something in the screen assembly. It also flickers on occasion.
I have posted a picture for all to see at the link below and would be very greatful if someone can point me in the right direction.

By the way, the laptop is no longer under warranty it expired 6 weeks ago just my luck!

Welcome to the forum!
I think it's the lcd screen that needs to be replaced, my Mac had developed exact same issue, of course it was under warranty and therefore apple replaced the screen.
Another senior and very helpful member ajkula66 [George] is a thinkpad expert, he will probably better tell you what exactly is wrong with it.

I downloaded the web developer tool bar and after using it my images are gone. I use google and a home page and the big google is gone. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it but I still don't have any images. How can I get them back?

Two days ago I downloaded the web developer tool bar (aus2.mozilla.com). I tried to use it but gave up. I deleted the tool bar.
I don't have any images anymore. I use Google.com as my home page (default) and the large GOOGLE isn't there anymore. I've also noticed some of the sites I use don't have the continue or next or enter keys anymore. It seems the only thing I have now is the text.

Are you sure you are looking at the Google page?? In Firefox 4.0 the default homepage / Start Page in Firefox was changed to '''about:home''' which looks a lot like the former www.google.com/firefox homepage.

How can I create a status bar at the bottom of a window ?

I would like to create a status bar at the bottom of my main window similiar to "Internet explorer" has. I thought of using a tool bar but I can't see how to keep it positioned at the bottom of the window when the window is resizable. Any other ideas on how to do this the bar only needs to contain a small amout of text and maybe an icon or two.

CVI doesn't have a status bar control on UI element like the one available in Visual Studio++. The best way to replicate this is most like through a string control that is resized and positioned to remain at the bottom of the window and colored to look appropriately. I have also seen the combination of a decoration and a text message used.

I like having the tab bar at the bottom of the screen; I use the task bar AT THE BOTTOM to switch between programs, so I want the the tab bar AT THE BOTTOM to switch between web pages. The only way I've found to get the tab bar at the bottom of the screen is the extension Tab Mix Plus. I used it for a long time, and it worked great.
Unfortunately, when I recently updated to Firefox 14.0.1, I encountered an error: I could no longer middle-click on a link to open it in a new tab (which I do ALL the time). After some troubleshooting, I found that it was being caused by some incompatibility between Firefox 14.0.1 and Tab Mix Plus; upon removing Tab Mix Plus, my middle-clicking was back to normal.
But without Tab Mix Plus, I'm back to having the tab bar at the top of the screen. I've searched and searched, and I can't find anything besides Tab Mix Plus that will let me put the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. I've found tons of stuff about the option "tabs on top", but that has to do with putting the tab bar above/below the navigation bar--it's still at the top of the SCREEN either way.
What can I do?
