You can't. It requires a 2009 or later 27" iMac to use Target Display Mode. You could try using software like ScreenRecycler.

Kerne_task and window server uses high CPU percentage

I have a white macbook unibody mid-2010, and the aactivity monitor shows kernel_task and window server using CPU of around 20% at times. Why is it doing this and how can I stop it from using so much? Thanks for any help

I was experiencing something similar, but with windowserver running at over 80% mostly, spiking to 99%. MacBookPro hardly responded anymore.
I investigated windowserver and learned it was "coordinating and handling the display for applications that want to place something on the display" (sure this is technically incorrect; trying to explain in plain English). So there was a good chance it was not windowserver itself, but a calling application being the root cause.
Using Activity Monitor (in Applications - Utilities folder) I listed all active processes and preselected the ones I recognized, and anticipated they would be using graphics more than average. I then started killing them one after the other.
After I killed "BetterTouchTool 0.721", my windowserver went back to normal behavior, and the machine was fast again.
Three last points:
1) BetterTouchTool web-site does NOT say it fully supports Lion yet. I could have checked that so not blaming anyone here but myself.
2) I'm using dual display and I see some references online to BetterTouchTool having some issues with that on Lion still.
3) In your case, any other process can be causing the same symptoms; it does not have to be "BetterTouchTool". Do the trouble-shooting by killing process one after the other and it should quickly tell you which process is the culprit.

Grey color cover the screen and can't use touch screen when trying to open the internet.

Pleas help, yesterday when I tried to open an website on my I pad 2 and there was a grey color cover the screen and I can't use touch screen, i still can see the internet is working in the back ground of the screen and the webpage was opend but I just can't make the grey color screen disappear. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Last thing to try is quit the app and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit Safari by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Safari icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

There is not much to do if you're using file transport
IR you just export (from the menu) and import the same way in the target IR
ID you just have to specify transport targets
(so names of your business systems will change)

It is possible and you can have DEV and QA on same server
We have at one location 2 server solman landscape in which we have DEV(100) and QA(200) on 1st server and PRD(100) on another server.

If there is anything I can recommend at this early stage of your question:
Upgrade the database to a recent release, read the documentation/sap notes/WIKI/training content for MaxDB.

Yes, you can configure it that way and we have many customers with that setup.You have to login to the EDS console the first time using the 'default' admin username/password (system/password) and setup a username, with admin privileges, that also is on your Essbase server. Logout, then login with the 'real' username. Select the domain object ('essbase at the top of the tree'), right mouse click and add an analytic server. Type in the name of your Essbase server and it should be added (and you should be able to browse objects on the Essbase server). 1. Do we have any tables to check A version of objects once the datasource moved to quality system?...
2. I have moved some datasources from development to quality system and in the log of the request i am seeing the error message like below
DataSource xyz does not exist in source system qa system of version A
Mapping between data source xyz and source system QA is inconsistent
DataSource xyz does not exist in source system QA of version A
Field field1 will not be delivered from DataSource xyz in source system qa system
Field field2 will not be delivered from DataSource xyz in source system QA system

I am running Essbase on one Windows server and EAS, EDS, ESS, and EIS on another. Did you create the Analytic Server in EDS and then Sync Security?

QA32 UD - Disable screen fields UD code and Quality score in QA12 screen

This is regarding the QM module , QA32 transaction , UD subscreen under Characteristics tab.
I need to disable the UD Code and Quality score screen field in QA12 in cases where the inspection lot stocks are completly posted.
How can I achieve this? Can some one plz suggest me the relevant User exit for this ?
Also how do i disable the screen field in QA12 ?

Transporting ODS from Developement to Quality server

Hi,
In Quality server I am haveing ODS with out one navigational attribute included in it but it contains data.same is avaliable in development with navigation attribute object included in it.Now we want to transport this ODS from development to Quality.Kindly let us know if we need to delete the data from ODS in quality before moving this ods which is in the delevopment.Technical name for both ods is same.

You don't have to delete the data. The transport will work fine. But, the more data you have, the longer the transport will take.

Cannot move ID objects to Quality Server using CTS

Dear Friends,
We are using PI 7.1. We have created necessary HTTP & TCP/IP Destinations in PI QA server and then transported using CTS all SLD & ESR objects.
Now we are struck up during moving ID objects from DEV PI to QA PI.
Please give me your solutions to resolve this issue.

Are you getting any specific error at any point? First make sure that SLD transport is properly done, with objects of both Dev and QA system and transport targets properly defined.
