Device Enrolls but MDM profile will not install

We downloaded and installed version 2.7 Zenworks Mobile Management. All certificates verify ok. We are using a GoDaddy cert. We also have a Bretford cart, 30 ipads for testing, we have completed the setup of a VPP account, we have a Mac Mini server with Configurator installed and working, we have setup 5 ipads so far for testing. We have "cloned" them with the Zenworks app pre-installed, we have cloned them without the Zenworks app and installed it manually. They show up in the Mobile Management console under users after they enroll with some information like %battery, OS Version, Memory Capacity but the configuration File will not load, when you try to install it from the Zenworks App, it pulls up safari and pops up the install profile, it says it is Verified, you click install and it pulls up a warning screen about what it will allow the administrator to do and when you select install it just says Profile Installation Failed, Profile Failed to install and you can click OK and it goes back to the Install Profile box again. Any help would be great.

Glad you figured your profile issue out. Quick question on your deployment. You say you are using a GoDaddy Cert and the profile shows as Verified. What version of iOS are you using for your iPads? Did you just use the Godaddy instructions to install your SSL cert? I have been trying to figure out why our profiles show as Not verified for some time. I have been able to figure out that our ZMM is working and can do APN push items with no major issue.

My StartCom certification allows software makers, but AdBlock Plus will not install on OSX 10.4.11. 'Signing could not be verified -260'

Every attempt fails to install AdBlock Plus on OSX 10.4.11, producing only the "Signing could not be verified -260" message. Following instructions in a previous post about this, I looked at the “StartCom Certification Authority” and found it already checked to identify software makers. I have no idea how to either find or update the "nss" package. [Network Services Suite?] Can you tell me specifically where to look and how to do that? What else may help to solve the problem? If AdBlock Plus still will not install, what's the next-best product that includes turning off the intrusive google connection requests? How soon will you update Firefox itself with a simple toggle switch to turn that on and off?

It might be some application installed on your computer - or maybe you are simply installing from a third-party site rather than addons.mozilla.org.

Installed mavericks ok, but iMovie 10 will not install because of video card deficiency.

I installed mavericks without difficulty on my 2007 iMac. However I can not install iMovie 10 that comes with Mavericks. The prompt tell me that my video cards are inadequate. Can I upgrade the video cards, and if so how costly will it be?

Apple on Wednesday released an update to its consumer-level video editing and management software iMovie for Mac, adding support for machines running legacy video cards.

Epson ICC profiles will not install in Mountain Lion

I have an Epson R1900 printer which requiress icc profiles. The generally agreed route has been to use those from Epson of America and these work fine on my PC. On the Mac however only the matte set will install. The glossy profiles bring up an error stating that I do not have enough permissions to complete the install. I believe this was also a known issue in Lion and I have found one suggested solution which was to adjust permissions in Colorsync and Profile folders in the Library.
However, in Mountain Lion this did not work for me. Does anyone else have success in installing these profiles?

I just used the Pacifist tool to peer into the Oct 4, Epson Printer Drivers v2.12 for OS X package. In particular, for the R1900, both sets of the ICC profiles are installed into the following paths. Supporting code for this printer is installed under the InkjetPrinter2 hierarchy.
/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/ICCProfiles/SPR1900_A.profiles/Contents/R esources
/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/ICCProfiles/SPR1900_W.profiles/Contents/R esources
The AutoSetupTool is installed in:
/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/AutoSetupTool/EPIJAutoSetupTool2.app
Everything in the above paths is owned by root with group admin. The individual R1900 .icc files are read/write by root, read-only by everyone else. There are two categories of .icc files for the R1900 as shown below:

I have update 4 for icloud on my windows 7 computer but the update will not install. I have been weeks trying manually as advised and the download and install that pops up most days. Nothing works. I also have itunes which updates everytime.

Daily I have icloud update 4 sent to my Windows 7 Laptop. It fails everytime I attempt to install the update. I was advised to install manually but this fails also.
I thought I'd uninstall icloud then reinstall again but cannot find a way to uninstall and still no solution to the update install.
I have itunes and have no problems with updates.
I also have an ipad with icloud so maybe this is part of the problem?

IWork'09 will not install on G4 Tiger

My G4 Mirrored Door meets or exceeds the iWork'09 sytem requirements, but the app will not install.
iWork'09 needs: OS X 10.4 11 or Mac 10.5.6 or later; QT 7.5.5 or later; if PPC G4, then 500mz or faster; 1GB recommended RAM; 32MB video memory; 1.2GB disk space.
I have: OSX 10.4.11; QT player 7.6.4; Dual 867 PPC G4; 1.25GB DDR SDRAM; 32MB video memory; 40GB disk space available.
All software/firmware is up to date. Disk permissions and disk verify are both clean. I have iWork'08 installed and working. Curiously, an iWork'09 folder has been created just beneath the '08 folder. It contains just the Keynote and Numbers icons (will not open, of course), but not the Pages icon. Seems to have given up around there somewhere.
Any ideas? The installer worked just fine on my two other Intel Macs.

Your profile states you have Mac OS X 10.5.4 & the specs require 10.4.11 or 10.5.6 or higher. That means it does not work on 10.5.0 through 10.5.5. You need to update your Leopard install to start.
It's a good idea to repair permissions before & after installing, too.

Upgrade from cs5 to cs6 will not install

Hi, I purchased and downloaded the upgrade from CS5 to CS6 including the Akamai installer. but the upgrade will not install and I am unable to contact Adobe anywhere for a solution to my issue. I have uninstalled CS5 using Adobe CC Cleaner and it still won't install. Help!!!

Recently managed to buy myself a new MacPro and have given my old PowerMac G4 (AGP Graphics) to my daughter to work with while at university on her Art course.
This original machine (with a bus speed of 100) has been upgraded so that it now has the following specs:

It also has a RADEON 9200 Graphics Card.
Bought FCE for her to start her editing... but it simply will not instal. It WILL install the accomp[anying "Live Type" and "Soundtrack" applications perfectly, but the "Final Cut Express" application remains dimmed out when running the installer from the disks.
Have I overlooked something in the specs and done something horribly stupid?
Any help you can offer would be mightily, mightily appreciated. Thank you.

You don't say what the Operating System is.
It should be at least OSX 10.4.6 and QuickTime 7.0.4.

Windows 10 will not install

Tried to install Windows 10. It has failed five times now. All updates are up to date, I have tried using the windows fix tool, but it still will not install. Has anyone else had issues or tried?I am getting really fed up with it now.Errors:-8024001E8024601080240020 Any help? Thanks.

Task manager shows that 7z Setup SFX (32 bit) is running in the background, but the application will not install.

ZMM Profile on IOS 7.1 will not install with ZMM 3.0

Anybody experiencing the same issue as I have? When using ZMM server version 3.0, iPhone devices with IOS 7.1 will not receive profiles. The only thing they do receive is one MDM profile. However, I expect at least 5 ZMM profiles on the iPhone devices. This problem seems IOS version related. When enrolling a device with IOS 8.x, profiles are installed just fine.

I am not seeing exactly the same thing as what you are describing. I have had issues with deploying Apps, including Managed Apps. I do notice that several of the teachers that I support recently updated to iOS 8 which caused some working profiles to fail. Once I removed and reloaded the configuration I noticed that the profiles only had the single MDM listed. Everything acted like it was working so I haven't looked at it further. I don't personally have iOS 7 devices so can't check tonight but will look to see if any of my other iPads I support show only a single profile setup. My iOS 8 iPhone (4s) only has the single profile with listed items under that profile so I am guessing that is how Apple is now handling things.

Apple Mobile Device Support Will NOT Install - Win 8 OS

I uninstalled EVERYTHING Apple...all folders, all apple software. I went through my computer and everything was removed. I did not go through the registry and remove anything so that may be where the problem is.
I looked in programs and features and there is no "Apple Mobile Device Support" installed.
It's as if it will not install, no matter what I do.
I think it may be a registry issue in Win 8 but not sure.
I have looked all over for a solution but to no avail. I uninstalled everything, reinstalled iTunes, I even tried to installed the .exe specifically for Apple Mobile Device Support and it rolled back, refusing to install it. I have tried updating drivers. My iPhone does show up in Task manager as well.

I have a feeling there is no solution to this one. Any other suggestions? Is there a way to remove more apple software including in the registry?

I have the same problem with Win7. Did uninstall so many times now I can do it in my sleep. I did one thing which seemed to work for a while. After I uninstalled itunes 11, I reinstalled the earlier version. That brought back the Apple Mobile Device Support feature. Then I updated itunes to the latest version. Then I get the same message about amds not the latest version and uninstall itunes etc...(evern though when I check amds IS the latest version). It's a merry go round. Can't sync my iphone 4s or iPad 3. I finally got rid of itunes 11.1.1. Guess I just have to sit back and wait for a while until the new version comes out or until someone figures out a solution.

Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:

Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch
