How do you fix this There is a reset link with it but all it does is come back to to the same message no rebooting at all please tech support help

  • Hello.  I upgraded my MIFI 2200 (had no contract on it) to a Jetpack (with a contract) when customer service told me this 4G device would use less data because it was faster.  This was not correct.  Anyway, I got the device, had problems, did tech support

Spent hours with Customer Service, then finally up to Management, they agreed to take it back and void the contact, I sent it back immediately – and instead of voiding the contact they transferred it to my MIFI! Please cancel the contract on the MIFI. 2.  During the short time I had the Jetpack I continually received overage alerts, took it all the way up to 30 GB, each time I backdated the new data plan except twice when customer service did and failed to back date the increase, and once the computer locked customer service out and could not increase.  The end result is I have a $495 bill, many of these alerts were false since I ended up with only 14 MG for the month, etc.  I am asking that my bill be reduced significantly to reflect no overage and to compensate for these problems. Please open up a ticket for this.

    I had Verizon JetPak and you will find it will eat data like crazy. I opted to sign on to ATT Uverse and configured my phones and other devices to the WiFi on the Uverse system. It took about 5 minutes to completed the configuration.  I was using 10 to 12 GB monthly to support 5 devices. Even if you use Verizon DSL, you are still subjected to same GB allotment.  In my area, Verizon DSL is not available. With Uverse, I have 250 GB monthly to use, and I have not even come close to using anything of that magnitude. I reduced my GB package with Verizon to 2 GB per month and since having ATT Uverse, I never use more than 1GB a month with Verizon.
    I have no problem with Verizon cell phone service as we get a much stronger signal where we live than you can with ATT or any others.  It is just my opinion, but if you are running multiple devices off Verizon Jetpak, you will eventually spend a fortune to keep pace.  I pay $60 a month for 18 Mbps speed, although ATT have packages that cost much less. But, it saves me a bundle each month. The cost of Uverse alone is worth not having to run everything through a Jetpak.  
    If you have the  option to use another DSL service provider in your area, I recommend dumping the Jetpak and sign on with another carrier.

    I would guess your iphone has been hacked ( jailbroken ) ring any bells ?

    screen is cracked so hooked up a external monitor. no bootable device error in white on black screen. did tests all passes except hard disk. this one gives " hard disk not exist" error..trying to save all my pix of my sons on computer.someone please help!! thanks in advance!! =D

    Did you drop the laptop? If the computer is not "seeing" the hard drive your only hope is that the hard drive got knocked loose and is still good, just not connected. Otherwise a drop that can crack a screen may well have also killed the hard drive.

  • Can't Download Anything Adobe after Tech Support "Help"

    I was having trouble installing the trial of InDesign CS5. It told me to uninstall then reinstall. It then would not even let me uninstall it. I tried to use the CS5 clean sweep and that did not work. I then made the biggest mistake of my life and called tech support and foolishly watched as some girl from India hacked my computer all to pieces from the inside! Now my microsoft office won't work and I can't download anything adobe! Not even reader. Here is an error message that I get whenever I try to download Adobe Reader:
    Error 1402.Could not open key:
    UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\68AB67CA7DA73301B7449A0300000010.
    Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

    Thanks. I actually did that after I posted this and it restored everything back to normal. It's all working again. I just can't believe someone would go into the registry and start screwing around when they actually have no idea what they are doing. Adobe tech support is horrible.

    she has a math software title that requires OS9 to operate or "classic mode"? she purchased OS9 on ebay. it installed ok on one computer, but stalls out during installation on the above computer. here is the software requirements of the program she wants to run
    Macintosh 68030/25MHz+ or Power PC,
    System 7.0.1 to OS X Classic Mode, 8 MB RAM, 4100 K unused, 2X CD-ROM, 640X480 256 colors. is there a way to put her computer in "classic mode?" or does she have to somehow get OS9 to install

    Write your government education coordinator to let them know to get with the times. 2006 and later Macs are able to run Windows, and most applications written for Mac OS X. To require someone to run Mac OS 9 applications these days is equivalent to asking someone to run a car with leaded gas. Although not poisoness, its antiquity is comparable when it comes to computing, and difficulty when coming by those software is as well.

    Ideally you should be able to find a newer version of the software that runs normally under OSX. Keep in mind though, that if you have to run this older software that a newer Mac (anything running 10.5 or higher, or using an Intel processor) will not run software under Classic. It would make things easier if you could find a newer version of the software but I also know not all kindergardens have "government education coordinators" to whom to turn for the funds for newer computers. It is also possible that the software may have been abandoned after OSX was introduced (it would help us to know what software you are using). I know I still use Classic generation software because should I wish to run the newest versions of the software I would be faced with at least $1000 in hardware upgrades as well as $2000-$3000 in software upgrades. I cannot merit spending $3000 and up on upgrades to use software I only use once every few months.

  • Very strange Issue, and cannot find a reasonable solution or Tech Support help / Will PAY for HELP !!

    So, without going into great details that cannot reasonably be explained, the scenario goes a little like this:
    When editing a PDF, and with nothing else open on the computer, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI tends to "hang up" and become unresponsive. The only plausible solution is to force command and restart Acrobat in hopes it will open correctly the next time. Sometimes this works, other times - nope .. Does not resolve the problem. So - can anyone recommend a solution? I have contacted help and they had to to delete a Adobe Preference file, and this seemed to work while I still had them on live chat. Once offline, it happened again.
    Here is the really weird thing, I thought that I fixed the issue (as I am doing this for my boss on his Macbook Pro) and was able to quickly edit a PDF .. but when I handed the computer over to him - literally in only 2 minutes - he proceeded to edit the same document and was not able to. He got the never ending rotating circle of death
    So - that is problem #1
    Problem #2 is with the inability my boss has to use CC offline. I have personally reconnected to our CC account and verified all settings, and when I perform my tests at the office, everything seems fine and all programs work as should. However, he is now on business travel and says the "Trial Expired" keeps popping up. What is going on? This is literally frustrating him and me with what little knowledge I can assist with resolving the trial expired issue. How many days can you be offline with CC? Tech support says up to 99 days .. Clearly 4 days is ridiculous and I am not able to duplicate the scenario when I have his computer but what would it work for me and not him?
    I just need to resolve this whole Adobe Acrobat issue as to finally get it resolved and fixed once and for all.
    BTW, called in outside computer help from a local company - and the computer guy was working to get it fixed, but it seems even with live chat or phone support - it has now been escalated to Tech Support 2 .. This make any sense or logic? I believe he has uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat and now it is only creating more issues. I think he tried to install a trial version and activate the subscription but it failed.
    Any HELP? We are desperate and I'll even pay via PayPal to get a resolution to this problem if any recommendation leads to a solid solution. Guaranteed !!

    Actually I also noticed that usual heat with wifi and game play.. However this was extreme heat. I wasn't able to hold it for long time and had to drop it.
    So can that bulge can be ignored and should I start using it back again. Though that bulge appeared after that heating issue.
    Beside the hardware, safety would be my bigger concern. Perhaps because I have heard few incidents with mobile phones where battery generated heat and caused some defect in bodies and continued use resulted in a blast in battery causing physical harm.
    So if its advised to try it by charging 100% and monitoring backup time or any other advise.

    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

    Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
    An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
    Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
    Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

    Hi did you get this sorted? As you might not have enough space if you are running windows xp? I had a similar problem also you will have to stop your virus software and firewall for a short time, see if this works.

    For the original poster (OP), try posing in the iTunes form since now you have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem.

    1. I plugged my charger into my Blackberry 8900, return to it and the phone turns off. 
    2. I reset it- pulling the battery out, putting it back in. 
    3. It then says: DEVICE ERROR 365: RESET 
    4. I've tryed to reload the OS on my blackberry but my mac and bb desktop software says :Cannot connect to bb. So I cant update it..NOTHING  !!!
    5. I called the carrier of the phone - ORANGE. They say that device 365 is  a hardware problem- need to buy a NEW blackberry -_________-. 
    Would I be able to send the phone to Blackberry for repair or to have it replaced ?. 
    PLEASE HELP....If there is a way to fix the hardware please help me.
