Device insists on ORIGINAL device password.

Blackberry device will not accept my password.  I get a message that I cannot "sign in with a different BB ID that i HAVE to use the ORIGINAL password.  I have been trying WEEKS!
I simply cannot remember the original device password.
Please help.
Regards,
Robyn

First, once a user has signed in on a device with a particular BBID, the device must be wiped before a different BBID can be used on the device.
So, to be clear, what exactly is the situation? Sounds like you are trying to use a different BBID. If that is not the situation -- say you simply changed the password -- then what are the steps that preceded the error message?
