Device Isn't showing up under output sound

the device i want to use under output sound in my music settings isn't showing up although the device is plugged it and on. They are water dancing speakers and are together and plugged into the USB and are lighting up so they're on. When I go to system preferences, I click output sound and they still aren't there for me to click. I have tried this process in both USB slots

This was happening to me too but only for some of my songs. I have a mac so I dunno about PCs, but for most of my ringtones I had to create an ACC version in itunes to make them short enough then turn that into a m4r and those all worked fine. But if the song was already short enough and I didn't create an ACC version and just turned the original into a m4r, then it wouldn't appear in my itunes.
so if you're on a mac:
1. go to get info, options, pick when you want the song to start and end.
     Has to be pretty short to work, 30 second or less is good
     if it's already short enough that's fine
2. right click and click 'create ACC version'
     a copy with the length you put in will appear, drag that into a folder or whatever and just type in m4r where m4a would be
     still make an ACC version even if it's the right length

ITunes Radio isn't showing up under Music app

I finally have iOS7 downloaded, but iTunes Radio isn't showing up under Music app. I only have access to my music in the cloud, genius playlists, etc. Why doesn't the radio show up? Am I looking in the wrong place? I tried a reset, but still not showing up. Maybe I am just blind or something. Working fine on my iPad

It seems like the iTunes Radio is only available for users in the US at the moment, with no comment on how long it will take for it to be distributed to other contries. So if any of you is outside the US, it seems you are out of luck for the time being.

The internal switch in the audio output port is stuck. Try inserting the earphone plug a few times. If no success, try jiggling a tooth pick inside in order to trip the switch.. If still no success, have the technicians at the Apple store genius bar do it for you.

My device isn't showing up in iTunes?

Hi. I'm not sure if this happened when I updated my iTunes or my iPhone...(I have an iPhone 5) but, for some reason whenever I plug in my phone via USB, it's not showing up in devices. I used to sync it through wifi as well and it's not showing up there either. My iTunes is running 11.1.5 and my phone is 7.1...not sure if this is because of the update or what? If anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE help! I can't sync any of my music or anything.
I also have a Macbook, not sure if this affects anything, but yeah, please help.

So i have an iPhone and i wanted to put my pictures into iPhoto so that i don't have to keep them on my phone. I tried to back it up onto iPhoto but nothing shows up in the devices thing. I tried updating iPhoto and also restarting the computer but nothing works.

IPod Touch 2nd generation won't turn on and won't show up under Devices on my iTunes.

I was trying to restore my iPod touch because it was locking itself and flashing. When I tried to restore it, the iPod turned itself off completely and won't turn back on. I've tried pressing the lock button and the home button at the same time, and I can't do anything from my computer because my iPod isn't showing up under Devices or Computer. If I put it in the USB port it opens iTunes, but isn't showing that it's plugged in. I have used different USB cords, switched USB ports, and tried charging the iPod, but it still won't turn on. Please help!

IPhone isn't showing up in My Devices on "Find my iPhone" page

I recently lost my iPhone 4 at an airport (or on the plane). When I first got the phone, I installed the Find my Phone app connected through MobileMe, though I don't think it was installed at the time of losing it. Fast forward to now...
I've logged into Find my Phone (now hosted on icloud.com) and I can see my iPad listed under the "My Devices", but not my iPhone. The battery is now dead as I've called it, but shouldn't it still show up in the My Devices list on the Find my iPhone page?
I'm wondering, if my iPhone doesn't show up in My Devices on Find my iPhone, does that mean it has been wiped?

Thanks, Winston. I thought I'd done that, but as that sounds like a post-iOS5 update thing, I probably didn't. The funny thing is, I don't remember doing ANY of this for my iPad, yet, that device still shows up under My Devices on the Find page. Hmm...

By the sound of it I have a similar problem and have also posted a question.
For me it is Iphone 4S and Ipad 2 - so two devices.
They are picked up under my computer but not Itunes/devices. I've also noticed that Itunes store doesnt open?
I don't have a solution either sadly.
Both my deviced IoS6 and itunes are up to date - think it must be an Itunes issue, but see no suggestions from the Big Apple

This is correct. It will not show in finder. It is not an external storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Open itunes connect ipod, do not sync, click File>Transfer Purchases

I registered my new iPhone 5s to my usual Apple ID, however it isn't showing in my devices when I log in. I tried to register it by adding a new device, but it tells me it's already registered to a different Apple ID. I'm really not sure how to fix this.

When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?
