If you don't have a balance the option for none should show up. If it does not or it gives you the message that there was billing issue with a previous purchase you will have to satisify the balance with either a credit or debit card attached to a bank account. Certain prepaid cards will not work if not attached to bank account with routing number.

The passcode you need to enter is the passcode you set on your device. It is the passcode that you enter when you turn on your iPad or awaken it from sleep after and Auto lock.
If you do not know or remember your password and did not store it somewhere then you will have to restore your device.

Checking emails using Get Account Info function

When using the "Get Account Info" function to check and delete emails on POP servers, the first message in the display list always shows no information regarding that message.
Resorting the list has no effect. While it will allow me to determine what the "mystery message" is by moving it to a different location on the list, the top message in the resorted list remains blank as far any information about it is concerned. The two screen shots show what I'm talking about. The first one is of the original list - the second one after changing the sort. As you can see, in both cases, the only information available about the message is the date stamp.
This is an absolutely reliable occurrence with POP servers. It may also happen on IMAP servers, but I have no email accounts on IMAP servers with which to test it. I've submitted a bug report to Apple, but if anyone here has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

It happens across all accounts. Anyone here should be able to replicate this just by checking their email on the server using the "get account info".

Mail 7.0 - "Get Account Info" listing - a bug?

I very frequently use the "Get Account Info" listing (via the 'gearwheel' at the bottom of the Maibox list) to remove unnecessary mail from the server to save downloading it yet again to my wife's little G4 iBook. However, with Mavericks they seem to have messed up the window as the listing now has no order and I'm unable to set it to any order - I prefer date - although it sometimes lists as size in descending order. A bug?

No luck, unfortunetly. I've even restarted the whole computer. They are usually still there, and sometimes, even older messages that I deleted from the drafts folder a long time ago, reappear as well. I've also deleted the account from Mail and set it up from scratch several times hoping that would work, but it failed as well.

As for the hold switch, that is a problem that exchanging your ipod nano where you bought it from or sending the iPod to apple for service would fix. You would either get a new, fixed, or refurbished iPod. It is your choice as to if you want service or to just live with the hold switch.

It's reporting a hardware media error on the drive. Basically you've got a hardware fault.

I had the same issue and managed to solve it.
Go into Mail>Preferences>Accounts
Then in the account information tab, at the bottom should be outgoing mail server (SMTP) and click the drop down box
Mine had a few different servers in it so i went into edit SMPT server list. Click advanced and it will tell you which ones are going from which email address.
Delete the ones you dont want, and it should work or instead of deleting click use only this server, i imagine that will work to

Get More Info for NetConnection.Connect.Failed Error?

I have a single server that runs IIS and FMS, both on port 80. The server has two internal IPs assigned to it, one for IIS and the other for FMS. I also have two static public IPs. My router maps one public IP to IIS' internal IP and likewise for FMS.
IIS works fine. Using an online port scanner, I was able to determine that port 80 is responsive for both public IPs. Before I had configured my Adapter.xml and fms.ini, only IIS' public IP was responsive. This seems to indicate that FMS is fine.
However, when my ActionScript creates a NetConnection and calls connect(), my netStatus callback takes about half a minute to be invoked, and I get "NetConnection.Connect.Failed". Which is not very informative. Is there a way to get more info about the cause of the error? Also does anyone have suggestions for how to debug this issue?

Thanks for trying out FMS..
I can guide you with few checkpoints to first see where the problem might be.
1. Go to the FMS installation directory and check for the logs folder. See all the logs (according to date) and find if the port bindings are all successful. This might tell us whether FMS actually has started or not.
2. FMS works on port 1935 for RTMP streaming. It also gets bundled with apache (listening on 8134) but one of the fms processes also takes hold of 80 for its tunneling streaming as well as redirecting to apache. So either you remove this entry from fms.ini or change it to reflect to some other port. ADAPTER.HOSTPORT is the variable to look for.
3. How are you making sure that FMS is working/not working ?
4. Please turn off your firewall or other secutiry for testing purposes to see if you are able to hit the FMS .
Let us know if any of the above are helpful in getting some more information.

Account Info for IMAC Email

Where can I go to find my "mail" account information. When I load up the mail application on my IMAC, I use my apple ID but have no sucess. I have attempted to logon numerous times ********@.mac, but no luck.
Do I need to subscribe to .mac before I can get my email to work off my IMAC

You need to establish an email account with someone before you can set up an account in Mail. If you haven't subscribed to .mac yet, you don't have an account with .mac. Plus, your email address would be ****@mac.com.
They will give you a 60-day trial for free, I believe, but unless they have changed their ways, they want a credit card number up front that they will auto-bill $100 after the 60-day trial period, unless you opt out first. The question is, how hard is it to opt out. Unless you are going to use a lot of the different .mac services (iDisk, iSync, ibackup, etc.), you may just want to look for a free email account through AOL or GMail or Yahoo or others. I believe GMail is POP, not sure about Yahoo. AOL is IMAP. You should be able to find directions about how to configure AOL and Yahoo and GMail at their websites, and certainly right here within this forum.
If you ever mess around with iChat, your screen name is either going to be your @mac.com account name, or the screen name you chose when you signed up for AOL Instant Messaging (AIM). If you don't go the .mac route, you need to sign up for an aim account at aim.com; this will give you either an aim.com or aol.com email address anyways, then you can use that email account in Mail.app. I know there is stuff in this forum about configuring Mail.app for AOL/AIM mail; I am one of several people that have posted directions in this forum on how to do it.
Also, it is quite likely that your ISP is already providing you with an email account, unless you specifically bought their "no frills" internet service. Check with them and see and if you already have an email account with them; if you do, they will be able to tell you how to set up your Mail account configuration for their email service that you are probably already paying for.

How can I view itunes account info for many DRM songs at once?

I have a ton of songs on my computer that is from different accounts. They are all in one folder but the problem is I would like to sort them into different folders by account. I know you can view the account info in itunes on each song one by one, but is there a way to add a column for account email address associated with the songs? There is to many to click each one individually.
