Device List 404 - Linksys Support Site
Logged into Linksys support stie to check data on an ancient (>10yo?) Docsys 2.0 modem that I registered, Comcast Business thought it might belong to them. Trashed that modem 4 years ago, but still need idenifying info.
It was still on my list a month or two ago, so I thought this wasn't going to be an issue... I thought...

EA6350 Device List Doesn't Work Correctly
Device list doesn't show all devices on the network. Some are shown OFFLINE when in fact they are ONLINE.
Other devices that are connected don't even show up at all.
For instance, I have 15 devices on the network, some wired and some wireless, but only 10 devices show in the device

You should be able to find Firefox by searching for it in the Android market on the device.

This question is in the wrong place but I could not find a better place for it. Can this issue be forwarded to someone who can fix it?
The support site is missing many relevant keyboard shortcuts such as move to the address bar = C^l, move to the search bar = C^k and formerly C^e (the lack of this one is what set me on the search for shortcuts). Is there a way to expose the hotkeys in the application?

It has the new keyboard 4.0 command for Panorama, but I didn't verify that list is as complete as I know the keyboard shortcuts - but a quick glance looks like it is. -
kindle fire is not listed on the supported or unsupported device list. I want to sync my kindle & download firefox mobile to it. is it a supported device or not for these firefox apps? if it is... how do i go about syncing it on my kindle fire? This happened all of a sudden. Was it in response to a O/S 10 update? The download from the Apple icon does not show a software update is needed; so a new driver is not there. The download at the Apple Support site for HP printers downloads and seems to install until the end, when it says my device an HP C3180 cannot be found. Can anyone help?

Linksys smart Wifi error while deleting offline device from device list
i have Cisco Ea4500 with linksys smart wifi, each time i try delete offline device i get error message.
anyone can help?What browser did you use in deleting offline devices? Are you doing it under the Device list? If yes, normally it should be deleted because those are widgets only. Can you try your other browsers? And do it on the main computer.

After a little more searching across various online resources I was able to cure it by holding down the home button and the on/off button for 10 seconds to restart it and it all came back with a clear screen. -
Linksys EA3500 and missing devices on device list
I have an EA3500 (N750) and I have a few devices that I know are connected to my network, but aren't showing in my device list. Particularly, they are an Android phone and a iPod Touch. Other phones and computers show up just fine in the list (iPad, laptops, desktops, etc). I've verified they are being assigned unique IP addresses by looking on the devices themselves and I have no connectivity errors, but they fail to display in the list. I'm not sure where to start.

They may just show up as Android or Network Device. If you find out which IP Address they are getting us DHCP reservation to assign them those IP Address and Label it so you can recognize the device.

Linksys EA6500 Device List Connection Status - update process
I have the Linksys EA6500 with the latest firmware and have a question regarding the device list connection status.
Currently, I am seeing devices in the list that have a connection status of live, but they are not even within my home network.
What is the update/cycle time for the device list actually checking connection status of a device?
In my situation, it has been 3 days (72 hours) since the two device showing as connected have not been connected to my home network/router.
Noticed that this inaccurate connection status for these devices is also contributing to the Device Monitr app not showing correct device connection status info.
Would like to have real-time device connection status if possible. This device list is great way to know when device get connected or disconnected which helps me know when my kids get home from school or using game console when should be doing homework.

Go to Solution.When you go to Troubleshooting > Diagnostics > Router configuration and clicked on Backup it is actually letting you save a backup of your configuration. It should prompt you where to save the file for you to use it later to reconfigure the router settings by loading it back on the router itself. I suggest that you do a hard reset on the router itself – push and hold the reset button using a pin or paper clip for 10-15 seconds then wait for the cisco light to go solid. Once the cisco light will turn solid access the router page again by typing in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and load the backup that you have saved. Just go back to Troubleshooting > Diagnostics > Router configuration and click on Restore option. It will ask you to look for the backup config file that you have save and open it and the settings should be restored on the router. Check then if the same problem (device list) will be experienced.

[nForce] K7N2GM-V not even listed on support site?
Anybody have any idea how long it takes to get a new mobo (K7N2GM-V, in this case) on the support site? I have been waiting for weeks for even the option to look for updated BIOS, FAQs and such, but it isn't even an option in the drop-down lists. I normally wouldn't be impatient or anything, but this board is months old now, and the Live Monitor utlility is just too irritating to me. I'd like to see updates myself without having all the hassle.
I don't know if anyone here can nudge anyone at MSI to get the ball rolling, but it sure would help neurotics like me if the board was even listed (even if it just said it was too new to have updates yet).Yes, I bought it new from ZipZoomFly.com. It is jumperless. I have done everything I can to make it work, followed the manual to the letter, and this is not by far my first build (just my first MSI board and the first system build ever that didn't work). ZipZoomFly's tech says it doesn't support 200MHz-FSB processors, even though their listing on their site where I bought it says it does (and MSI still swears it does). I have asked him to get the listing changed at ZZF so more people don't run into this too, and hopefully, he will get it changed. Newegg has already changed theirs, as have all but one e-tailer I can find. It just does not support 200MHz-FSB (which is technically 100MHz frequency in BIOS as stated above). I have contacted MSI dozens of times already, and they swear it does support 200MHz-FSB processors (just like my old 1.4GHz AMD Athlon Thunderbird). I have tried two boards now (bought another one from Newegg.com before I RMA'ed this one to ZZF, so my wife would have a working computer) - neither works with the Thunderbird. The TBird works fine in the older Chaintech board. It has to be the onboard graphics like previous posters said, which means it DOES NOT FULLY SUPPORT 200MHz-CPUs! MSI refuses to admit this.
They skirt around the issue with stuff like "200MHz-FSB is supported" and such when I say, "is my 1.4GHz AMD Athlon Thunderbird with 200-MHz FSB supported?" They never give me a straight answer and I now see why they haven't listed a processor support test list for it yet - they don't want to, as it might keep them from selling a few boards. Marketing wins, and tech support plays (or maybe isn't playing) dumb.
These two will be my only two MSI boards ever. Back to ASUS, I guess. At least I can trust them to list accurate specs on the website and not be sneaky in email phrasing to get around issues. -
Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Device List Not Finding Windows 8 Wireless Adapter
I recently upgraded my Wi-Fi router to an EA3500 and am controlling it using Smart Wi-Fi running on a wired Windows 7 machine.
So far, I have been able to add devices to the network without issue and each of those connections works fine. All, except my TV, have been Windows 7 based machines. Smart Wi-Fi Device List has been able to "see" each device and I have been able to add them to that list as well.
I am attempting to add a Windows 8 desktop computer to the network which is using a external USB wireless adapter. That computer can see and connect to the network through the EA3500 and the connection seems to work fine. The only issue is that its adapter does not show up in the Device List.
My questions:
1) Does the Device List do anything else besides showing a list of devices I chosen to add to my network?
2) How do I get my Windows 8 wireless adapter to show up in the Device List?

Try the following:
1. Disconnect the computer from the wireless network
2. Remove wireless network profile on your computer
3. Reboot the computer and power cycle the router
4. Reconnect to the wireless network
5. Check if the computer shows up on the device list.
If it is still not showing, reset and reconfigure the wireless router. -
All the support site links for the OGV200 now go to 404 pages - does anyone know where I can go to get new firmware, or since this is a discontinued product does it not exist anymore?

There isn't hardly any options, and as most newer routers today HAVE QoS on them amongst other things this device isn't entirely useful as is why it's discontinued now. I STILL use mine though in any case it seems that a single dedicated hardware driven device for this purpose alone is still better than the QoS checkbox in the routers that include it and that are for retail right now.
It's not impossible to find the updates lemme see if I can get the site link listed here if you still read this or if someone comes across this thing and needs to update the firmware.

Hope this helps anyon around that still has this thing. (I still use it but it's far from NEEDING this; I'd give it a 6/10 rating...mediocre, not horrible but not great either.) -
After spending several hours sorting out Canon Pixma OSX problems here are my thoughts:
Canon 860 Series (Pixma 868) Printer Problems with OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) – links to Canon Support Site with Drivers and Software with install tips
Problem:
- New imac and MacBook Pro 2012 (OSX 10.8.2) had a problem using Canon Pixma 868 printer on network and would not scan or print using Canon Pixma software (Pixma MP Navigator 2.1 & Photo Print), which has advanced scanning and photo printing functions.
- When I connected the canon printer to my imac, OSX 10.8.2 automatically downloaded and installed drivers for Canon 860 series printer. I could then add the new printer (select ‘apple menu’ / ‘system preferences’ / ‘print and scan’ / “+”) and printer would work while connected via USB but could not get to print or scan over network wifi.
- The original Canon 860 Series CD does not work with 10.8 and the manual / online instructions did not make sense (as based on CD install).
Solution:
1) Install Canon Printer Drivers and Software (from official Canon site)
Go to canon support site, review FAQ, then download and install following Pixma 860 Series software & drivers for OSX 10.8 (links see below). The version I downloaded is in brackets but check for updated version. Full instructions are below.

2) Check Canon Printer and Software Working while connected via USB
Once you have downloaded and installed drivers and software and restarted computer, check that the printer and Canon Pixma software (Pixma MP Navigator 2.1 & Photo Print) are working via USB. Open the Canon IJ Network Tool App (Applications / Canon Utilities /IJ Network Tool / Canon IJ Network Tool App) and make sure you can see the Canon MX 860 series (xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx) and that it shows the correct SSID Wifi settings (under the Canon IJ Network Tool App ‘Setup menu’). This is normally done as part of the automatic install but worth double checking
3) Add new network printer using ‘apple menu’ / ‘system preferences’ / ‘print and scan’ / “+”).
After you have checked USB printing turn off printer, unplug the USB cable and shutdown the Canon IJ Network Tool App.
Then turn the printer back on and wait 30s. Then add a new printer using ‘apple menu’ / ‘system preferences’ / ‘print and scan’ / “+”). Once you select “+” (add new printer), wait 10-30s for the Wifi Networked Canon MX 860 Series printer to appear in the new window eg Canon MX 860 series (xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx) (Kind: “Canon IJ Network”)
DO NOT ADD THE MX 860 SERIES BONJOUR SCANNER (the Bonjour Scanner is the built-in software, is not needed and often appears first on the add printer list). The Canon scanner can be accessed used through the MP Nav EX Ver. 2.1.3 software (which has much better functions)
You will now have two Printer Canon MX860 (USB) and Canon MX860 (Wifi / Network). Set the Canon MX860 (Wifi / Network) as default and test print and scan
If the Wifi Networked Canon MX 860 Series printer does not appear, check the printer and make sure that the printer can see the wifi network. On the printer select Menu / Settings / Device Settings / Lan Settings / WLAN Setting List. It should say WLAN Active, identify the SSID and have an IP address
If the printer can not see the Wifi Network, plug the USB cable back in, then open the Canon IJ Network Tool App (Applications / Canon Utilities /IJ Network Tool / Canon IJ Network Tool App). Make sure you can see the Canon MX 860 series (xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx) and that it has your SSID settings (under setup), if it has this info, restart the computer and the printer and try againHi, thaks for response, meant to post as a discussion (not question), wanted to save others time if they get the same problem
