Device Object not present.....

I have a Dell computer. Each time I clean installed a new Win 10 TP build, I had to reinstall SigmaTel HD Audio.
I did that many times and it never failed, until today.
Today, I did a clean install of 9926 in a dual boot setup, and as expected I had no sound. So, I started to install sigmatel.
Near the end of the install, I got this error message.....Exit Error: Error=Device Object not present, restart the system and run setup again.
I restarted, it still failed to install. I gave up after the 4th restart. So, as of now, I have no sound.
Other than that, 9926 runs fine.
Anyone has an idea ?

From the error message, it seems Windows could not detect the Device object successfully.
How did the sound Device configure here?
Next time if this device still encounter issues, check it in Device Manager.

MAX error insufficient location information or the device is not present

Hello,
    We have been getting this error once in a while on our test system. (See attachment) Our system is running Windows 7, MAX 5.5.0f0, TestStand 4.2.1 and LabView 2010 SP1.
   To get the error to clear and the system to run we have to go in and rename each VISA to a bogus name and save it. Then go back and rename them back to what they should be and save again.
   We get this error maybe once every 3 or 4 months, but it does stop production until we get in and fix it.  What is going on and how do we fix it?

Which program is this error occuring in? (Teststand or LabVIEW?)
   I am running a TestStand sequence and it is calling a LabView vi to set the power supply.
How long do you run the program until the error occurs? (Are you running it the entire 3-4 months?)
   The system is typically run during 1st shift each day.   Powered off at night.
What are the names of your VISA resources?
   "DCPS1" the power supply
   "DMM" the multimeter
   "FREQ-CNTR"   frequency meter
Are you referencing the VISA resources using the ASRL::INSTR aliases in your program, or something else?
   The vi specifies the VISA session.
NI recommended the method of temporary renaming of the handles, but they never gave a long term fix or root cause of the problem. When it happens we rename each VISA by adding an additional character to the name and Save it. Them delete the character and Save it again, as the original name. We do that for each VISA then the TestStand sequence will run with no problems.

Integrated audio device not present

After a substitution of the logic board, the integrated speakers, of my iMac, stopped to work. In the system preferences- sound- out tab, the device is not present: there is only headphones port.
When I switch on the Mac the start beep is audible, it means that the speaker works, but not in OS X.

Sadly this did not work. However, Windows did insist on trying to install its drivers immediately after the reboot so I'm not sure if this would have any impact. It is better in that I can now see the "fields" etc on the SoundBlaster tab of Properties but I still get the same message when trying to edit them. I think I should have words with Dell as this is clearly now a hardware config prob?

Unfortunately, the command "refresh config from controller" does not solve the problem because we have a negative result

The only way to get passed that and to use that iPhone is to ask the previous owner to remove it from icloud.com in the Find my iPhone section.

If the previous owner is not present
Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:
Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Click All Devices to open a list of devices linked to their account, then select the device to be removed.
Click the Erase button to erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, don't enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device is erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.

Failed to add device to WCS Reason: Object not found in device

Hi i am adding wlc (ver 7.0.116.0) to WCS (ver 7.0.164.0) and getting bellow error message.

This controller was successfully added to the WCS before upgrading WLC ios to 7.0.116. Now i am unable to communicate with the controller thru WCS. The controller itself work ok and serve all WAPs with no issue.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You will need to upgrade WCS to Version 7.0.172.0. WCS version 7.0.64.0 does not support or manage WLC version 7.0.116.0. Hope this helps.

Refrencing objects that are not present on frame 1 of a movieclip

Hi everyone!
I'm working with a movieclip right now that has two frames in it. I want the user to be able to go back and forth between the pages by clicking on tabs on either page. The button that they click on is only present on the frame that it is applicable (so, the button to switch to frame 2 is only present on frame 1, and vice versa).
I want to control when they are able to click back and forth, and be able to turn the buttons on and off whenever I need to, but since the button to switch back to frame 1 is only on frame 2, when I reference it from the main timeline, the button registers as a null object. How do I refrence an object that is not present on the first frame of a clip?
Here's the gist of what I have. The main timeline has an object called "mAccess" that has 2 frames, Windows and Reports. At the top there are two tabs, one for Windows, one for Reports. The Windows tab is only clickable when on the Reports frame (frame 2) and the Reports tab is only clickable when on the Windows frame (frame 1)
Main Timeline:
     mAccess.bReports.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoreportstab);
     function gotoreportstab(event:MouseEvent) {
          mAccess.gotoAndStop(2);

the bottomline is you can't reference an object that doesn't exist (yet). the easiest work-around is to make sure your object exists on the frames where you need to reference it. the object doesn't need to be visible so this isn't much extra-work. you can add and remove the object from the displaylist as you see fit or enable and disable its visible property.

I had labview software running and talking to all instruments. added a agilent E4440a psa to the GPIB bus and now my code does not run. even when i build a vi from scratch it keeps giving me this error and no communication to equipment. any ideas what happened or how to fix it??

I am unable to tell when the battery is completely charged. I have showing the battery symbol with the bolt-this is present even when the device is not being charged. And it is always showing 2% charge.

Are you using the AC wall charger?

When I try to send pictures from my computer (Windows 7) by bluetooth to my iphone 4s I receive this message
"Device Object Push Service Not Aailable"

You cannot pair an iPad to a computer for anything other than Internet tethering.
Android is not the same as iOS.

Reboot and select proper Boot Device on Satellite C55-B5200, odd not present

I have a new laptop barley used. I bought this back in August then bam in January it started giving me this error message "Reboot and select proper Boot Device".
I'd like to get this fixed so I can start using it again. I tried pressing f2 on restart and when it powers up it says

It is not finding or communicating with the hard drive to boot, most of the time it is a bad hard drive or bios is not set correctly for the operating system.
f2 to enter the bios then f9 to set bios to the defaults, then f10 to save - then try to start.
What you are saying the bios reads is wierd?

Reassign Track Object not working

For some reason the "Reassign Track Object" function doesn't seem to work for me. By this I mean, reassigning a track object does not change MIDI routing. For example, I can create an empty project with one software instrument track, set it up with any old synth for input, and the reassign the track object to "No Output", but when I play something on my keyboard the synth still plays. Or I can reassign a track object to an Arpeggiator connected to the synth, and notes are not arpeggiated (I am aware you have to have pressed play... no dice).
What's odd is that while the name on the track in the actual track listing changes to, say, (Arpeggiator), the name of the track in the inspector doesn't change (it folds up, but I can still open it and make changes to the track object that the track shouldn't be assigned to anymore). Any ideas how to resolve this? It's pretty annoying, since I apparently can't reroute any of the MIDI data entering the arrange window.
I just tried playing with all of this for the first time and at the moment I'm not connected to all of my usual gear, which means when Logic opens it displays the following messages:
The previously selected audio interface is not available.
and
Device "microKONTROL #2" is assigned to MIDI Port "Port 2" which is not present.
Don't know if these messages are relevant...

It looks like you have a MacBook, so I'd start troubleshooting the trackpad issues with these steps:
Try disconnecting the MagSafe connector from the computer and check the trackpad function. If the trackpad becomes responsive again, improper grounding may be the issue.
If a two-prong AC plug is being used with the power adapter, try using the three-prong power cable that shipped with your computer and plug it into a grounded outlet.
If the issue persists, make sure the third prong is present and do not use an adapter to enable the three-prong adapter to be used in a two-prong outlet. Note that the ground in the three-prong outlet may not be connected. This is common in older homes or buildings with replaced outlets. In these situations, the three-prong power cable will not improve trackpad responsiveness.
If a grounded outlet is not available, rest your palm on the palm rest when using the trackpad. This should enable the trackpad to function properly.

Card not present on hot sync

I am using Palm TX with Doc To Go v10.002 and Palm Desktop v 6.2.2. My expansion card is a Palm 128 mg. When I insert the card into the Palm, it reads it as having some memory taken, but the documents do not read on the Palm. When I hot sync, I get the message "card not present" in the card section of the Hot Sync Manager. I have refomatted the card. When I read the card from my pc, the folders for palm system are there. I have added a couple of documents from the pc to the card, bypassing the Hot Sych Manager, but my palm still does not read them/acknowledge them.

this is a common issue.
You have the following: cascading syncBOs - have a look into MEREP_PD and yu see a column with some numbers in boxes. Click on these boxes and you see if a syncbo is related to another one.
In your case: you tr to download MAM010 BO for example. But this will only come down if the related order (MAM001) is available as well. But MAM001 will only be on the device, if related FunctLoc or Partner is on device as well - and so forth. And nothing will be on the device, if MAM090 is not available.
What I want to say: have a look into the relations. If you see this warning in MEREP_LOG, check if you see this warning as well for other BOS and see why these are not on the middleware available. Check the GETLIST/GETDETAIL handlers on the backend and so forth. This is a little bit of a frustrating work, but it is because the dataset will only be on the device if all related information is available as well.
If you go to the device and open MAM and then type the url:
http://localhost:4444/MAM/start.jsp
where MAM is the name of your MAM installation (so change it to our needs) you will see the persistence on the device. Select MAM001 and show the data. The related entries are there with the SyncKEY of the object. If you then select the partner for example and search for the information shown for MAM001 you will find it on the device as well. IF the partner would not be there you would get an error in the app. To avoid that, an order will not come down if the patner is not available for download.
A little confisung at first I guess - but if you think about it is hopefully makes sence - if not - ask, we will clarify this hopefully.
