Device Payment Plans Might Be Coming around the Corner!

According to what i read Via >> droid life Device payment plans might be Coming to Verizon!  have a look @ the Link b33
http://www.droid-life.com/2013/04/12/verizon-will-introduce-a-device-payment-plan-similar-to-t-mobiles-in-the-near-future/

When i was Visiting the Verizon Store Yesterday and was asking about the  Cost on a iPad 64 Gig they had this round sign Next to it that said in small print if Qualify you could get the iPad and Make $52.00 dollar payments a month and there was something else in there like 30.00 dollars for something but we didn't Qualify that's even being a Customer since 2002 so it Must be something big Like a Loan that Verizon is Doing if they Go in this Direction on there Devices And one's don't Qualify they might as well Walk out the Door because your only other Option is pay the Full Price or split the Payments if you Qualify for that..

  • Device Payment Plan Experience?

Has anyone had any experience with the Device Payment Plan which allows you to purchase a new device early without being eligible for any upgrade and pay for it monthly along with your plan over 12 months?  I am considering it but am wondering if I really need to go to a store to do it or can a chat agent help me get a phone ordered or what?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If this (http://support.verizonwireless.com/support/faqs/FeaturesandOptionalServices/device-installment-plan.html) is what you're talking about - I used it when it barely started (maybe two weeks or so after). It was a real pain at that time, as nobody knew how to process it, etc. It has to (as far as I know) be done in store, no other way (maybe CS can do it over the phone, but I haven't seen the option online).

  • Device payment plan

So i read online that if you grandfathered the unlimited data plan, you would be able to keep it and upgrade your phone by using the device payment plan. yknow the one where you pay the unsubsidized price of the phone in  12 installments and charging you $2 per installment. I went to several verizon stores asking about this and they all told me the same thing "i dont know what youre talking about but if you do upgrade your phone by paying the full price in installments, you will lose your unlimited data". After hearing that i asked several online specialist at verizon and they said i would be able to keep it. So what's the deal here? will i keep my data plan or lose it?

This is what many are told when they try to buy on the device payment plan. My local store even went so far as to say if I bought as I did at full price I would lose it as well.  They said going from a 3G device to a 4 G device also was going to make me lose unlimited. You see verizon is using any means to get the unlimited data off the grandfathered customers.
You also tell them after you purchase to do a complete printout of your plan, this way you can check any changes that were done against your last invoice. Bring the invoice with you to compare.
By the way its the Edge program where you lose unlimited. Of course the store people are pushing that over the device payment plan.

The link above is just one of many that state you do not lose unlimited.

  • Device payment plan not explained very well

I was wondering if anybody has tried the device payment plan.  My wife went to try to trade in her 64 gb iphone 4s on the new iphone 5 64gb and use the payment plan to pay off the balance.  He looked at the account and told her it was no problem but after he went through the steps were denied.  He said that our account was perfect and we only had one late payment in 2 years.  He told me straight up he had no idea what was going on and that we were the first one they had tried to do at that store.  He called COOS which has something to do with the payment plan and they told him we weren't approved because the system said so but could not offer an explanation, I don't think its a credit problem we both have pretty good credit.   So he put in an Emil to somebody higher up for his district that is suppose to be able to let us know whats up.  He told me that if they couldn't get me and my wife approved than the plan was going to be pretty much useless.  He did say that it said something about an existing upgrade but looking at the account we cant upgrade till June and the contract was officially complete in October.  The only thing I can come up with is that the payment plan is not useable if you are still under contract or the system is glitchy.  Anyway does anybody have any success stories I would be intrested  to know if you were still under contract or not.

I talked to a rep yesterday on the phone and it seems like your only allowed if your not under contract. I don't know if this is true there still seems to be some confusion but in my situation it makes since we're still under contract.  If it is it would have been nice for that to be spelled out.
This isn't inline with what was stated in the press release.  I copied the relevant text below:
Customers also have the option of purchasing a phone at full price at any point before their contract expires and beginning April 21, some devices will be available for purchase through the Verizon Wireless Device Payment Plan.

Maybe the "some devices" part doesn't include the iPhone 5.

  • Looks like Beta 3 is just around the corner...

If you haven't noticed, things have changed on the Project Siena home page:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/projectsiena/default.aspx
Take a careful look and you'll also see a .zip with Beta 3 for the release notes and several updated references / documentation.
(If anyone knows how to actually view the contents of the .zip, that would be great.  I had the same problem with Beta 2.)

P.S. One more page announcing Beta 3 with details:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/dn495637

    Hi All,
    Beta3
is indeed right around the corner has been released! First things first, I'd like to clearly state that all documents created in the Beta2 version of Project Siena will open in the Beta3 version of Siena. So no worries there.
I'd also like to provide some additional details around the
    following components:
    1.
    Import/Export Visuals, LoadData/SaveData:
We've released an update to address bringing forward data exported/saved using the Export/Import visuals and SaveData/LoadData functions.
Data exported/saved with the Export/Import visuals and SaveData/LoadData functions can now successfully be loaded from Beta2 to Beta3 without issue.
    2. Timer visual:
Based on feedback we have simplified the timer control in
    Beta3.
    Does this change affect me?
If you open a Beta2 document that use timer visual in Beta3 and want to continue working this change will affect you.
This affects me, what should I do?
Your document will open fine in Beta3, but the timer visual will be upgraded to the Beta3 timer visual so you will have to fix up any functions highlighted by squiggles before your document previews as expected.
    I'm curious,
    what was the change?
We updated some default capabilities, styles and properties on the timer visual. For example, the timer now has a default text with a formula that shows the elapsed time. We have also renamed and removed a few properties that we’d heard feedback
about (e.g. End is now Duration, Interval and Step have been removed with a built in default of 10s of seconds, enabling custom counts using formulas).

  • 12 Month Device Payment Plan

    Hi All,
There is a Best Buy Department Store closer to my area which would be more convinient that going to the nearest Verizon Wireless Store.
Will i be able to go the VZW section in the BB store and ask if i can paticipate in the 12 Month Paymen Plan option for a new phone at retail price? Being a Authorized Retailer i would think so but just want to be sure.
    Thanks.

Unfortunately, people just cannot come up with a cost greater than $99-$199 for the new devices. They elect to lose plan perks etc. to get the newer phones. You can buy some place else but it does not change the fact that the costs for the device may be lower but the reseller will then remove your previous plan perks like unlimited data. Because the system they use to go into Verizon's service will only allow them to do just so much.
Additionally when paying less for these new phones the retailer like Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart's requires you to enter into a buying agreement with them in addition to Verizon's policies. Not a good deal.
In purchasing from Verizon you enter into a contract for a greatly reduced price, but its a 24 month contract you are locked into. The price of the device normally does not change for full retail without a Buyer Beware since you don't really get a cheaper price, you get more woes when signing with the (Resellers)

  • Renewal is around the corner and I have a problem.

Hey my name is Erik Granberg and I use Adobe Creative Cloud on PC if that helps in anyway on this matter.
I have about 5 days before the time runs out, and that's because I did not have enough money on my account at the time. I've had a pretty hard year and because of my government rules at the moment I cannot get borrowed money transferred to my account. (It's really wierd I know..) But I can hopefully borrow through a friend and Paypal, but what I know there is no way to pay through Paypal right?
I really don't want my subscription to end because this is basically the only thing in the world right now that doesn't suck ha-ha. It's really important to me so can you maybe "pause" my account until the end of the month or send an Paypal invoice? (I'd love to change the payday to around the end of the month instead as well)
I have no idea what possibilities I have but if Paypal is not an options I cannot pay until the 23-25th..
    Kind Regards: Erik Granberg

As far as I know, paypal is not an option

  • SparkCheckBoxDataGrid: What are the reasons it might stay stuck in the corner?

This has to do with Alex Harui's "SparkCheckBoxDataGrid"
I've changed the example I'm studying to a WindowedApplication.
If I enter x,y values to move it away from the edge, it doesn't take.
If I try dragging, it snaps back to the corner. Also, there's a dashed red line that appears temporarily.
    Is it itemrenderers causing this?
Also, I was hoping I could move the checkbox into an in-line(?) borderContainer in order to (hopefully) center it, however, the nested tags becomes an issue that I don't understand how to deal with.
    Thanks
    Kristin

    Hi
Well, yes, the datagrid was stuck in the upper left corner, which was annoying to me.
I changed it to WindowedApplication so I could test loading my own sqlite data. I deleted everything out of your code related to dragging items as well. Too much confusion there.
My substitutions work just fine, just can't relocate the grid. I have begun to think the file is corrupt now.
    I have another simple question. Can you please expain this line to me:     owner.addEventListener("selectionChange", selectionChangeHandler);
I think 'owner' refers back to the datagrid. The datagrid is the owner of the itemRenderer (?). But I don't understand the use of the custom event. I've never seen that structure (an unofficial Flex event)  and I can't follow it back to it's origin in your code to understand it's workings.
    Thanks

  • ISU Payment Plan

    Hello,
Please share the link with  exhaustive documenatioon on SAP standard ISU Payment Plan material . Also would like to know the difference between Payment Scheme and Payment plan for Australian Market.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sunil S

    Hi Sunil,
The major difference between payment plan and a payment scheme is that a payment plan is related to a finite number of open items to be payed on a e.g. monthly basis until the debt is payed finally. On the other hand, the validity period of a payment scheme is unrestricted.
    Payment plan:
An agreement between the customer and the utility company, which determines the amount to be paid for each bill on agreed dates. The payment plan amount is not necessarily the bill amount. The difference amount between the bill amount and the payment plan amount is fixed and posted. The payment plan is not to be compared with the budget billing plan that is charged between two periodic bills.
    Payment Scheme:
The payment scheme is a statistical budget billing procedure. Consumption billing amounts from previous and current billing periods are copied to the payment scheme and distributed evenly over the next billing period. The budget billing amount is determined partially from an extrapolation portion that reflects the expected consumption for the current billing period and partially from the copied consumption billings. It is not necessary to copy consumption billings to the payment scheme in order to use this procedure. If you do copy them, the bills are not paid directly by the customer but during the next billing period when the
payment scheme requests are paid. The payment scheme allows payments to be made in weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles. The validity period of a payment scheme is unrestricted. This means that a payment scheme is not ended and another created when you create a periodic bill. Instead, the existing payment scheme is adjusted.
    There is a cookbook payment scheme available in [http://service.sap.com/utilities] -> SAP for Utilities (product information) -> IS-U/CCS -> Billing&Invoicing -> Cookbooks&Guidelines.
    Kind regards,
    Fritz

  • Create Payment plan

Hi could anyone explain how to create  payment plan? And what are the prereques?
    Thanks

    Hai,
Maitain the BBP procedure at contract account  for ur company code  select with payment plan procedure..3
If you enter 3 (payment plan procedure), the budget billing amount is requested as the new bill amount instead of the bill amount determined by billing and invoicing. The difference between the actual bill amount and the payment plan amount is managed in a special item. This procedure is used for monthly billing.
    Path:spro>invoicing >BBP-->
First define the budget billing procedure for ur company code
and then choose ur payment palnm category.
based on the requirements  u can change the rounding parameters through fica events.

  • Payment Plan (BBP) process

    Dear SDNers,
I have gone through all of SAP help (and for all those who have been looking for helpful material please click on http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/c6/4dce68eafc11d18a030000e829fbbd/frameset.htm) but still i do not think Payments plans are clear enough.
I am investigating the implementation of all the different budget billing plans which sap offers but I am stuck these payment plans.
I really need to understand the process involved when using payment plans. The process i am using is:
    1. Create a payment plan with ek92 transaction (i did not understand on what basis the differential amount is calculated and on what basis the monthly budget bill amounts are calculated. Is there a relation between the 2?)
    2. I create an invoice for the periods related to bbp amounts in the payment plan.
    3. This creates a balance brought forward amount in the account's balance. It is equal to the differential amount and has a clearing restriction 3 i.e. it can only be cleared by the next invoice.
    4. When i generate new invoices, they do in fact clear the previous balance brought forward and create a new one.
    5. Within the print document itself (ea40) I see lines with line type ACTPPA. These SEEM to refer to the BBP amounts which in my example happen to have value 15u20AC. Yet in the bill lines value is 0
Furthermore, I do not see a way of generating the payment requests, and/or a way of allocating payments against such requests.
What step am I missing? or what concept am I not grasping?
Thanks and load of appreciation in advance.

    Hi,
This is a typical North American De-regulated scenario.
You are right. Supplier change/switch is triggered by Idoc(IDE)
Idocs are references by external POD which in tern link to internal POD and installation.
At any given give, one external POD can linked to multiple installation (one supplier and one distributor)
The below path (as you already mentioned)
In IMG entry > SAP Utilities > Invoicing > Budget billing plan > Payment plan > Define Payment plan categories you will find the checkbox CopyDataSupplch.
Will satisfy your scenario. (I have seen it with BBP procedure 3, running healthy in production)

    Hi,
When a Mac is "registered" for iMessages account with an Apple ID the Serial Number of the Mac is used to create an Auth Token as it is called for the Messages app that allows that Mac to work.
I would guess a similar process of linking the Number of the iPhone to a Hardware fact about the device is also in place.
I would contact Apple Support and check with them.  (you might need to speak to a Level 2 person as Level 1 people are script led and try to fit everything into Software or Hardware categories where as sorting and Apple ID (which the Number is in this case) is normally Free).
I did find this iOS: Troubleshooting Messages - Apple Support
It starts off about sorting SMS that is not working.
This one has a bit on Unlinking an iPhone Number (with or without the iPhone) iOS and OS X: Link your phone number and Apple ID for use with FaceTime and iMessage - Apple Support
