Device status code 10 on my Slimtype DVD A DS8AZH ATA Device With Windows 7
I have been having a problem with the Base System device. After reading up on it, I installed the Ricoh 5-1 Card Reader Driver. Now I am getting the Slimtype DVD A DS8AZH ATA Device. Code 10. How can I fix that?
I have a Pavilion dv6000 and the driver cannot be updated and it worked not 10 minutes before I installed the card reader.
Hi:
See if running the microsoft fix it tool will help.
http://support.microsoft.com/mats/cd_dvd_drive_problems/en-us
If that doesn't work then try the manual fix...
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
322756(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756/ )How to back up and restore the registry in Windows
This problem is caused by two Windows registry entries that have become corrupted. To fix the problem, you have to use Registry Editor to delete the corrupted Registry entries. To use this method, you must be logged on to Windows as an administrator.
Windows 7 or Windows Vista
Click Start, and then click All Programs.
Click Accessories, and then click Run.
Type regedit, and then click OK.If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
In the navigation pane, locate and then click the following registry subkey:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
In the right pane, click UpperFilters.
Note You may also see an UpperFilters.bak registry entry. You do not have to remove that entry. Click UpperFilters only. If you do not see the UpperFilters registry entry, you still might have to remove the LowerFilters registry entry. To do this, go to step 8.
On the Edit menu, click Delete.
When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
In the right pane, click LowerFilters. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
Note If you do not see the LowerFilters registry entry, unfortunately this content cannot help you any further. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
Exit Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.

Slimtype DVD A DS8A1H ATA Device is recognized as CD Drive
About a week or two ago,my DVD drive , a Slimtype DVD A DS8A1H ATA Device, began to display itself as a CD Drive even though it is a DVD Drive. I have already tried the sfc/scannow command, uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it, removing the higher and lower filters in the registry editor, and I still have the same problem. I have checked the HP Support and Drivers website for any updates, but i have found none. Are there any solutions to this problem? Or ,at the least, may I get a website that has an updated driver for my DVD Drive?
Thank You in advanceThere is no separate driver apart from the driver built into Windows....does the drive function correctly and the only problem is the identification in device manager? What happens if you put in say a Movie DVD or a DVD-RW disk blank?

FMLE 3.2 and 3.1 can't detect an audio device with Windows 8.1
FMLE 3.2 and 3.1 can't detect an audio device with Windows 8.1 x64 on an MSI GT72-2QD laptop. I tried 2 different webcams but the result was the same. Both the internal mic and the ones going with the webcams work fine with other software but when I try FMLE it looks as follows:
It says that there's no audio device connected (although the mics work fine elsewhere), the dropout is blank and the audio parameters are grayed out and inactive even with the "audio" box checked. Both versions of FMLE work fine with the same cams on a desktop which has all the same tech specs but uses Win 7 x64. Running FMLE in Win7 compatibility mode or reinstalling with register cleaning doesn't help. What can be done about it?Hi Bob,
Thanks for the advice. It succeeded.
The steps I made was to make a disk copy of my original Windows XP disk using Disk Utilty. Then I renamed the disk copy into .iso. I copied the ISO file to my usb flash drive.
Than I started Parallels 7, created a new VM, selected the correct drive to install from (the usb flash drive) and volia, it worked.
Finally...

Burned dvd wont play on laptop, with Windows 8
I have an HP laptop with dvd drive, running CyberSuite for dvd playing. I can't get burned dvds to play. When I search the dvd drive, it says no files found.
Hi @fjdyhland
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I see that you are having a problem playing DVDs. Is it only the burned DVD you are having a problem with? Do the burned DVDs work in other DVD players? Any issue with regular DVDs or CDs? What is your product number?

Satellite U200-124 - Unknown devices with Windows XP SP2
I downloaded Toshiba U200 drivers for Windows XP from this site, install Windows, install all drivers.
Well.
But i have 2 unrecognized devices in device manager.
1. NIC 1394. Device Code V1394\NIC1394\92423A3900
2. PCI Device. Device Code PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803C&SUSBSYS_00011179&REV_00\4&6B 16D5B&0&5BF0
Modem & FireWire are not working.
What can I do?As Ivan said the drivers are not installed correctly and therefore the unknown devices appear in the device manager.
The installation instruction shows the right installation order. This order is necessary and important to get all devices working!!!
Please visit the Toshiba European driver page, choose the right series and download and install the right and compatible drivers like mentioned in the txt. file -
No SOUND DEVICE with Windows 7 in an L505-ES5036
The sound icon in the task bar is shown inoperative. When parking the cursor over it, it says: there is no sound device installed. If there is no device then it can't very well load the sound driver!
I reloaded the codec and went to bios and reset all the options to presets, but none of this helped. I assume that the sound board has bought the farm.
If anyone has any better ideas, please let me know. This problem is seriously cutting into my recreation time.
Thanks- RichardIf you have any NVidia graphics card installed, turn off its driver(s). This worked for me in my Mac Pro 3,1, because I had a conflict with the on-board RealTek HD-Audio drivers, which I now use as the primairy driver.
Good Luck & Cheers!

Can I share photos on networked storage device with windows user?
Ok, so I have done my research and feel kinda confidant about moving iPhoto Library to external hard drive. However my windows using husband now wants to know if there is a way he can see them too, as I have pics/videos he does not. Also is there a way to organize the photos from his computer on ExHD so I could see them in iPhoto?
I am scared to death that he is going to get into my Library file (even on accident) and jack something up to the point that I lose all my pictures, or the ability to access them, etc...
We would like to be able to share music as well, would same principles apply? Any suggestions?
ExHD is networked between the two computers if that makes any difference.?What format is that networked storage device?
Users report many problems with Libraries that are stored on disks formatted anything except Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - these include problems importing, sharing and saving edits.
iPhoto has no cross platform ability whatever. The best you might do is to use a Referenced Library but this has problems too, so research that carefully.
Best option: tell your husband to get a Mac.

Outbound IDoc Error: Status Code 37 'Sender Port' is invalid
Hi
I have an Error when the Outbound IDoc is triggered.
It shows that 'Sender Port in Control Record is invalid'.
Status Code: 37.
I know that there are some issues with the Sender Port Definition.
Please help me out to solve this problem using some checkpoints at each and every step.
Reward Points Assured.
Regards,
BaburajHi Baburaj Manickam
Good
Follow this simple procedure
1) Send an outbound IDOC data(MATMAS) to a flat file on client1(SENDER).
- Create File Port (WE21) for outbound file.
- Maintain Distribution Model (BD64) for sender ->receiver system.
- Create Partner Profile (WE20) for logical system.
- You can use this program RBDSEMAT (t/code BD10) to generate IDoc MATMAS file(s).
_ Then you can FTP the file(s) to receiver system.
2) Upload the flat file as an IDOC on the inbound sytem
which is Client2(RECIEVER).
- Create File Port (WE21) for inbound file.
- Maintain Distribution Model (BD64) for receiver -> sender system.
- Create Partner Profile (WE20) for logical system.
- You can use this program RSEINB00 to upload IDoc MATMAS file(s).
INBOUND IDOC PROCESSING:
Firstly attach your idoc to a process code.
In the process cod you can tell the system that the specified program should be triggered whenever an idoc of that type comes to the system.
Then you want to have a Z-function module for your idoc processing, if I understand correctly. The steps should be:
1. Create a z function module for idoc inbound posting (copy from a function module idoc_input_*).
2. Set Function Modules as Inbound: - Transaction BD51
3. Assign Function Modules to Logical Messages and Idoc types:- Transaction WE57
4. Create process codes : Transaction WE42, and link the z-function module.
5. Create partner profile: transaction WE20 and attach the message type and process code.
6. In the Z- function module, extract data from the idoc segments, do whatever processing you want to do, and then call BAPI_CREATE_SALES_ORDER_FROMDAT2.
Try the Trasaction WE19 for testing your inbound and outbound IDOCs
Good Luck and Reward me for the same
Thanks

Cannot make Recovery DVDs for the G580 with Windows 8
I notice that Windows 8 Notebooks are no longer being sold with Licenses affixed to the underside. So if anything goes wrong (e.g. we have to replace the HDD at a later date) we cannot just use a Windows 8 disk to restore the operating system.
This means it is important to make sure we have recovery DVDs.
With previous versions One Key Recovery had an option to make restore DVDs - it misses that option with Windows 8.
Phoned Lenovo support who said that we should make the DVDs through the Windows Backup system, which again is fine but on both Lenovo's I have tried it on Windows 8 cannot make a backup to DVD. Also even if we could make the windows backup or system repair disks they would not allow a complete factory restore to a brand new HDD.
How do we make Recovery DVDs that would be bootable and would restore the Operating System to a brand new HDD if the worst should happen and the existing HDD suffered unrecoverable failure? So far the only option that has come up from my various phonecalls is "buy a set of recovery discs for £25-£35 .... which would be a bit unfair having only had this 2 days.
Solved!
Go to Solution.thanks for the feedback.
Could you please check out the following link and see if it contains a possible solution, I am aware it states only Think products in the compatability list but there are "cross-over" points where something could be of relevance to other Lenovo products.

thanks in advance

AdControl error: HTTP error status code: NotFound (404)
For over a week now, a Silverlight WP 8 app with an AdControl configured for "test_client" continues to report this error and thus no bing ad visible either while running from an emulator (8.1 512) or from a WP 8 device. If I change the AdUnit
to use a PubCenter ID it works fine on the device and ads are displayed. The emulator connects to the Internet just fine via IE.
Could the ad server not be responding to the "test_client"?
Could someone let me know if it has worked recently for them? I tried contacting MS and no one seems to have an app configured with the test ad... I could give MS so many helpful suggestions. But looking at the hundreds of un-answered posts here - I
suppose they're busy with Windows 10...and have they asked developers if they're willing to put up everything on the cloud? all the while people still waiting to see the 'start' button on Windows 9?

The J2EE server might be overburdened and cannot accept the call. The 'Receive'servlet is not called. You will find further details on the HTTP status code definitions under "http://www.w3.org". Check the accessibility of the server by calling: http://<hostname>:<port>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI.
The Listener Beans of the affected connection (AFW, Marketplace, BC,see above) were not registered or the log-specific Event Handler was not found.
Check out this trouble shooting guide for SAP XI...Section 7.4.4.4 talks about exactly the same problem:-

Error Handler Returning 200 Status Code
Greetings,
I have a section of my site assigned to be an "Error Handler" however when a user is brought to this page, the status code is a 200. As you can imagine, this has the potential to cause a lot of problems for processes that rely on status codes to operate.
I have found the following solution on another site, indicating to place this Idoc Script code at the top of the Page Template:
<!--$setValue("#local", "ssChangeHTTPHeader", "true")-->
Unfortunately, doing the above does not work. Am I missing something?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
JoshHi Srinath,
First of all, thanks for taking time to help. I removed the tag that I previously had inside of my Page Template and put yours in the body, however my page still returns a 200. I completely stripped the Page Template of all but the necessary markup.

Thanks!
