Device stops showing on computer when I connect iPod or phone.
My iPod device no longer shows in iTunes when I connect. And then when I unplugged the USB connection, the iPod is stuck on "Connected" and will not go back to the regular view. My phone has also stopped showing up as a device connection on my hard drive, even though it shows as connected.
I disconnected Firewall in case that was the problem, but it hasn't changed the problem. Can anyone help?

Reset the device.
Try a different cable.
Try a different USB port.
Reboot the computer. -
When ever I click a photo with photo effect. Photo effect shows only in my iphone but it does not show in computer when ever I connect to laptop. So please resolve the problem.
That is how it works. You will need to email the photo to yourself in order to preserve the edits.

I would like to know if "Restore Backup" to my new phone will load up all the information I have which backed up from my other phone. Yes, do not set it to automatic sync, and if these albums are purchases in iTunes, then you need to transfer them to your iTunes library. If you attempt to sync the device the music sync is one way, only from the library to the device. If this is music you did not purchase, but is on the iPod, you will need to get some 3rd party software to extract it from the iPod to put in the library. Touchcopy from Wide Angle Software is one choice. I have used it before and it does a lot more than music, and it works on both the Windows and Mac platforms.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have hooked up a second apple TV in another room and neither can see my computer when both connected. When i disconnect 1 box it works fine?
Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data because all profile folders will be removed.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

My Ipod does not show in Itunes, when I connect it shows for a second a disappears again, I have gone through the trouble shooting but no luck?
:-) the problem is solved. Thanks to a great typ in one of the other discussions with alt+cmd+S iTunes looks again like something I recognize. After removing the iPod from iMac and also from the connecting "holder", turning it on ad off, rebooting the iMac, maggic happens and the iPod now shows in iTunes and everything works just fine.

Make sure to check your internet settings or the settings on your wi-fi server (if accessible). You may also want to make sure that your not in a place where wi-fi is obtructed.(concrete walls other machines, etc.)

Ever since my last update I have been unable to add songs from my i tunes library onto my i phone. The "add to" button does not appear for me when I connect my i phone. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

i am currently piggybacking on a wi-fi connection pending getting my own isp connection. problem is that for the same network connection, my pc laptop will connect (and strongly) while my imac will not connect. they are less than 2 feet apart. some o
