Device type to be used for Zebra 220XiIII Printer

Hello All,
We are printing labels from SAP to the printer Zebra 220XiIII Printer using Adobe Print forms technology. When configuring the printer, we used the device type as PDF1. The print was fine in terms of data display and positioning of the text and barcodes but the issue is that it takes 30secs. to print each label. This was not acceptable as it is creating delays in Shipment.
To address the issue we changed the device type to LZEB3. The print was fast i.e., in 20 seconds the printer was able to print 5 labels but the font on the label is increased automatically because of which the data on the label is truncated.
Does any one have any ideas on what is the device type to be used and is there any specific font to be used?
Please note that we desinged the forms using ADOBE FORMS TECHNOLOGY. There are many notes in Service market place which are specific to Smart forms. Please come up with your ideas.
Regards,
Praveen T

Hi Florian,
Thank you for your response. We were able to fix the issue by changing the Device type to LZEB2.
For some reason YZB200, YZB300 and other device types which we found in the device type wizard did not work in our case. We did not investigate the reason as LZEB2 worked and we have time crunch

  • SPAD: Device type to be selected for 'HP Laser Jet P2055dn'

    Hi,
    Recently we were asked to configure 'HP Laser Jet P2055dn' as the cheque printer in our landscpe.
    While configuring the printer, I have a doubt of the Device Type to be selected in SPAD settings.
    Could you please suggest me which Device Type to be selected for this printer
    Below are the details of the Printer provided o me by the infrastructure team:
    HP Universal Printing PCL 5:  'HP Laser Jet P2055dn' with a Troy badge on it
    Regards,
    Manish Sharma

    Hello,
    Try using HP Laserjet 4 series PCL-5 driver for the printer you have mentioned.
    Otherwise you can customize your own drivers with needed controls, formats, etc macthing the cheque printing.

  • What brands and type can I use for my iMac 20" internal Hard Drive?

    what brands and type can I use for my iMac 20" aluminium internal Hard Drive?
    can I use WD caviar black?
    is it too hot?

    If you are replacing the drive because the existing one is faulty, that's one thing. If you just want more space, you should take advantage of having a decently fast and relatively small capacity drive in there now (instead of a huge drive). Get an external FireWire drive and off-load most of your user data there. Make your internal drive dedicated to mostly your OS and app files, with plenty of free space. That setup will make your iMac run more efficiently. I won't go into more detail, because I'm not answered your specific question... You can post back with any questions, if interested...
    To answer your questions...
    You should be able to use any SATA 3.5-inch drive internally, but you should probably keep it at or under 1TB. The main concerns are power usage and heat dissipation. A drive like the WD Caviar Green would be ideal in terms of power and heat, but they do have slower (or variable) spin rate. I have one as an external drive (750GB) and it is amazingly quiet and cool. If I had to replace the internal drive because the current drive failed, I'd put it inside. I'll trade a bit of pure performance for the efficiency (including low noise), and these drives are more advanced with higher data density and larger cache, so the trade-off from slower spin rate may not be so bad.
    You can check your current drive's model number (which is shown in System Profiler) to get the specs online. The stock drive in my old +Late 2006+ iMac is a 7200 RPM drive. The Caviar Black is a 7200 RPM drive, with a newer design. So if you want to use a Caviar Black in there, I think it would be OK.

  • Any Idea Which Message type/Idoc Type should be used for FI Invoice

    Hi Experts,
    Any idea what message type/Idoc type should be used for FI invoice. We are going to send IDOC from R/3 to Non-SAP System using ALE. We are using T-codes FV60/FV65.
    Thanks,
    Sony

    Hi Sony,
    I never dealt with FI IDoc.
    I think you need to setup EDI outgoing payment in IMG. Please take look this report <b>RFFOALE1</b> - ALE Distribution of Payment Data and <b>RFFOEDI1</b> and check also the program documentation.
    Hope this will help.

  • Type of plastic used for the nano

    Does anyone know the type of plastic used for the front of the nano. I am just trying to find out so I could see if that Novus 2 scratch remover will work. Thanks

    Good luck finding out - I'm guessing only Apple developement knows the type of plastic they are using in Taiwan or China (wherever the Nano is made)!
    If you try the Novus, I recommend using Viva brand paper towels. They are very soft, and I always use them along with the Novus. No sense in using a harsh towel to apply the Novus, only to scratch the Nano while buffing the Novus off!
    Give Novus a try. It can't hurt!

  • How to know which Smart-Form is being used for Purchase Order print output

    Hi Gurus ,
    How to find which Smart-Form and and methods/program being used for Purchase Order print output in SRM  ?
    In ECC we have tcode NACE where we can check all the details.Is there something similar in SRM ?
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Saurav

    There is no similar transaction in SRM for your purpose. Usually if the customers customize the smartforms, they would choose to use their own form by implementing BADI BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF. Take a look into your system and see if this BADI is implemented. If so, debug it (by pressing "Print Preview" for a PO for example) and find out what form it is using. Or, if the BADI is not implemented, by default, the system uses form BBP_PO.

  • Device Manager reported driver missing for Officejet 7310 printer

    I used the full-feature install software downloaded from HP site to setup an Officejet 7310 printer on a Lenovo T540p laptop with Windows 8.1 64-bit OS.  The install and the printer appear to work correctly as I can print and I can also scan from the HP Solution Center utility.  However, the Device Manager reports two errors/anomolies as follows.
    Under the "Multifunction adapters" entry the Officejet 7300 series Properties shows the Device Status as:
    This device is disabled. (Code 22)
    Click Enable Device to enable this device.
    Under the "Other devices" entry theOfficejet 7300 series Properties shows the Device Status as:
    The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
    There are no compatible drivers for this device.
    To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.
    I find this a bit baffling as I believe the install software is supposed to include the driver(s), plus the printer seems to function (which could be due to default Microsoft drivers).
    Any thoughts on how things got in this state and how to recover would be deeply appreciated as I prefer to not "ignore" the error messages.
    Thanks,
    Glenn

    Yes I was able to remove the USB instance and rename the network-connected printer instance as the sole printer.  I thought that should work, but I was a bit paranoid given the other weird things that happened with the package install.
    I'm good to go; thanks again.

  • Use on e-print an email formerly used for the same printer

    How can I use the same email i used to use for a printer before reinstalling it? The eprint center tells me that the email already exist!
    Thanks in advance
    This question was solved.

    At this point in time the emails will be locked for 6 months if you change the email, or delete the printer. You can however add a number to the end to make it a little easier to remember a new email.

  • Transaction type to be used for revaluation

    Hi Sir,
    Question is how to revaluate the asset.
    1.  In oabw, oayr and in ao90 I checked and the posting of gross revaluation in abaw Tty 800 is posted.
    2. It is shown in aw01n.
    Till here It is fine, after that What I need to do.
    Pl Suggest different scenarios.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    You have been using manual revaluation, please go through following documnetation which will help you to understand. (If you have defined separate depreciation area for revaluation then such area post APC values periodically) or you are using existing depreciation area which post APC values periodically then you need to run periodic posting to post values in FI. IF APC values are being posted realtime for the area which is being revaluated e.g. area 01 then you have already done all activity and not required to do anything else.
    Manual Planning
    If you choose to plan revaluation manually, the revaluation report can still be used to create the depreciation areas required for the individual assets. If you choose, the report does not create a posting session in that case. For planning, use transaction type Rxx (xx = key of the revaluation). The system automatically creates this transaction type when you define the revaluation.
    If you want to post gross revaluation, that is, with the revaluation of historical depreciation (backlog calculation), use transaction type 800. Transaction type 800 is defined in the standard system so that it posts to all depreciation areas that allow for revaluation and backlog calculation in their Customizing definitions. If you want to limit the posting of gross revaluation only to specific depreciation areas, you have to change the Customizing definition of transaction type 800 accordingly (function Areas). Or copy transaction type 800 and change the copy.
    In this instance also, FI documents are not created until the periodic posting of the depreciation area to Financial Accounting is carried out.
    Thanks!!!

  • Search supplier by type of transaction used for posting on its account

    Dear all,
    I am looking for a way to search all suppliers that have had at least one item posted on their ledger using certain SAP transactions (FB60, FB65, F-43, FB10, F-41). Basically, all that have one FI posting (except payment, clearing) in their account in a certain period. Is this possible or I need to look into developing with appropriate resources a new program?
    Thanks,

  • What file type should i use for reading a large file of data?

    I want to store data in a file and access them later. The data file could reach 500 to 1000 MBytes, as a binary file.
    I may have memory problems.
    I do not need the whole data in memory, only a few data each time, for my calculations.
    If i use a binary file, i can not read only a few data. I have to load the whole file and then read the data i need.
    Is this correct?
    If i use another type of file, can i read only a few bytes without loading the whole file?
    Maybe a TDMS file?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I would probably use a TDMS file for this since it could also be read into excel if it were small enough - just more flexiblility. But you can also do it using binary types. You don't have to read the entire file when using binary files. See below.

  • SP Transaction Notification - what object type number to use for BP Activity

    Have to re-post it, the previous one has been accidently marked as answered.
    I'm trying to add some script into SP Transaction Notification and want to make it
    run when user add a new "BP Activity" into B1.
    What object type number should I use in SP Transaction Notification stored

    BTW, following this article:
    SAP Business One Form Types and Object Types
    http://scn.sap.com/community/business-one/blog/2013/07/09/sap-business-one-form-types-and-object-types
    I tried 103, but it seems like doesn't work.
    103 ActivityTypes object
    Thanks.

    Found my answer here, object type should be 33. Strange, this is inconsistent with article in my original post

  • What type of data type would I use for this situation?

    I have a class which connects to Oracle, but each connection may be to a different database. Each database has it's own user name and password.
    I'd like to pass one key value and then the class would get the user name and password and url from that but not sure how to do it.
    Right now, for the function I pass it the url, username, password which then calls a connection function and passes it the same value. This seems messy keep passing values around.
    Is there some kind of enumerations or something ?

    You might consider putting the URLs, usernames and password into a properties file.
    The properties file might contain:
    all.databases=database1,database2,database3
    database1.user=user1
    database1.password=dingbat
    database1.url=jdbc:oracle:thin:dohdah:base1
    database2.user=someone
    database2.password=toad
    database2.url=jdbc:oracle:thin:xyx:dsds
    Then use ResourceBundle.getBundle() to load the properties and you can just do
    Connection con = DriverManger.getConnection(bundle.getString(key + ".url"),bundle,getString(key + ".user"), bundle.getString(key + ".password");
