Device will not connect a Google account

I have the Samsung-SGH-1747  Andriod 4.1.1 Base Ver 1747UCDLK3 Build JRO03L.1747UCDLK3
Recently I could not connect to Google for Sync or Play. When I deleted and re-added the account it failed to add saying that it could not connect to the server. I reset to factory and same issue.
Now I cannot access any of my settings and cannot recover my contacts and details from Google. Anyone else see this issue??

SGH-1747 ????  Isn't  that the AT&T Samsung GS3?  You may want to ask on the AT&T forums.

My ipad says it is connected to WiFi, which is workingly perfectly for several other devices, will not connect to internet.  It keeps giving the message 'Cannot Connect' or error has occurred or just blink off site or icon?

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • Will not connect to google, more than just a safari issue

I am having an issue with one of my macbooks.
It will not connect to only google.com that i have found so far.
I have tried Firefox, and Chrome and the same thing, will not connect.
I have tried ping www.google.com, which errors out but google.net works.
All of the network settings match that of my MBP, which does connect.
I have tried clearing the cache, deleting all .plist, deleting eveything in the cookies folder, checked parental controls, removed keychain to anything google, different browsers, uninstalled all widgets and add-ons, removed all apps i have installed since the issue appeared, I have manually changed the DNS to a couple of solutions i found here, then reset them to default and still will not work. I am simply out of ideas. If anyone is having the same issue and found a solution please let me know.

You may have been infected by malware that you downloaded and installed.  The download was probably called "FlashPlayer.pkg".  If you still have it please don't trash it quite yet.  For the benefit of others in this community can you please upload it to http://www.virustotal.com.  Once you have done that copy the ID and report it back here along with the exact name of the file that you uploaded.
If the results do not show anything in the status column next to ClamAV can you also upload it to http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi and in the description box include the keyword "macos".  If you know the name of the site where you downloaded it from, that would also be useful.  Then you should Trash it so you won't be tempted to run it again.
A description of this malware along with instructions on fixing it can be found here: http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/trojan_bash_qhost_wb.shtml
Thanks in advance and let us know how it goes.

  • My devices will not connect to iTunes over WiFi or over USB. No indication is given of connection

I was attempting to restore a 3rd generation iPod for a friend but the device would not connect to iTunes. I attempted to connect my 5th generation iPod touch but it would not connect either. I can see it is connected in the computers files but it does not appear on iTunes.

Is the Wi-Fi button greyed out?  Try this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559
Also, make a backup to iTunes of the device.  Then restore it as a new device.  If you still have wi-fi greyed out, then contact Apple again, and explain that you believe you have a hardware issue.  They may still ask for a $19 deposit, but if it is actually hardware related, then you won't be charged the $19.  Only if it is software related do you get charged that $19.

  • My device will not connect

My device is not connecting to itunes - not visible. Just restarted computer and restarted phone.  Phone is connecting to PC, but not visible in Itunes. I am desperate as need to sync my phone as doing an upgrade and it wont work.

  • My device will not connect to my computer.

Hi, I need to sync my phone again and it will not connect to my laptop. I have tried everything.  I have tried restarting both my phone and my computer.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled my iTunes, nothing is working. I keep unplugging my phone and plugging it back in to see if it will connect, and it doesnt.  If anybody knows what to do, reply please.

I have the same problem, sounds like an Apple issue.  I have never had this problem before, they better figure it out and fix it because it's ******* me off not being able to sync my iphone!

  • On 13th of the month only, Firefox will not connect with Google.

I only noticed on Dec 13th that Firefox v34 or v35 wiii not connect to any Google site on the 13th of the month. It occurred on 13th January too. After that I experimented with the date reset facility in Windows XP, ran a reboot and found I could reproduce this problem. Google search, maps, analytics are all affected and browser eventually says "server times out" with a plain grey background.
I have devised a routine that backsteps and then jumps for a date so that "the 13th" never happens again on this system.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

  • Calendar (Lightning) will not connect to Google Calendar

I have read this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-lightning-google-calendar , but I still seem to be having some trouble getting Lightning to work with Google.
All I am trying to do is get read-only access to the calendar (read/write would be ideal, but it seems Provider for Google Calendar hasn't been compatible with Thunderbird/Lightning for a while), so I have done the following:
    - Made my Google calendar public
    - Copied the iCal URL
    - Created a new calendar in Lightning using the Google iCal URL
I've tried every possible combination of 'http'/'https' and iCal and CalDAV, with no luck. None of my events/appointments will show up in Lightning at all, even though the calendars are 'successfully' created.
    I'm using:
    - Mac OS X 10.9.2 "Mavericks"
    - Thunderbird 31.0
    - Lightning 3.3
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks!! I was successfully able to install Provider 0.32 for Lightning 3.3, so I now have read/write access. Previously, when I got the incompatibility error with 0.32, I think I will still using Lightning 2.6, maybe. I had just updated Thunderbird/Lightning earlier today and hadn't re-tried the Provider.
Just wanted to note that I also tried the CalDAV with iffy success. It would not let me dismiss any reminders at all. When the calendar synced, I 27 reminders pop up, but every time I hit "Dismiss All", the window would disappear briefly, my calendar seemed to 'refresh', then all the reminders came back immediately.
Long story short, Provider is working, and I am extremely happy that I don't have to deal with Google Apps directly.
    Thanks!

  • My touch will not connect anymore

I downloaded the I06 update for my touch, and since I did so, my device will not connect to the internet. When I go to wi-fi, the two routers I own show up, but when I access either of them, the touch connects, then disconnects, then sends me to apple.com to log in, but it says the page I am looking for cannot be found, and there is no connection. Help!

yea. i attempted those suggestions, its still not working. Also, earlier today, i found that its only my router its not connecting to. I'm able to connect to other wifi just fine. i don't know what else i can do except bring my ipod back to apple and see if they can fix it or something.
but please keep offering suggestions! Bringing this back would be my last choice.
