DeviceNet driver blue screen

I am running LabView Prof., DNet version 1.3 on a laptop, ThinPad T20. I get blue screens after I have opened and closed polling several times. The less I open and close, the better off I am. The error says "Page Fault" basically, and the program will run fine after rebooting, and seems to be great right up until the blue screen. Please help. This is controlling poisonous gases, and I can't tolerate this.

  • White screen, new hard drive, blue screen. Help!

Tried to boot my MacBook Pro (2011) and just had blank white screen. Tried to boot from Mountain Lion bootable flash drive and just get a blue screen.
Installed new hard drive. Same thing. Suggestions?

After the dealer looked it over, he determined it has a bad logic board. However, searching online, I see the cause of all these 2011 MBP failures is due to the Raedon graphics card in them. Apple was replacing free for iMacs with the same part, but so far isn't doing the same for MacBook Pro's. I have emailed Apple, intend to call them, and posted on their support forum as well as other ones. FRUSTRATING.

  • New Battery + New Hard Drive = Blue Screen of Death.

    The series of events:
    1. Powerbook acts slow, but nothing too frustrating. Until its starts to randomly quit when browsing the internet regardless of browser being used; however, I suffer through a few weeks with this issue.
    2. Battery ceases to function one day after warranty ends, Apple Genius feels my pain but still charges for the new battery. I also inquire about the internet browsing issue and he runs some test and concludes that my airport card is failing. I choose to not replace the airport card at that time.
    3. I purchase a time capsule and complete the initial backup; however, all further backups fail.
    4. I purchase a macbook pro.
    5. The day after purchasing the macbook pro, and before I had sufficient time to transfer all needed files from either the powerbook or the time capsule, the powerbook enters into the blue screen of death. The time capsule refuses to recognize the macbook pro as I desperately attempt to save at least a portion of my files.
    6. I visit the apple store dragging a small suitcase behind me which holds the powerbook, the macbook pro, and the time capsule. My appointment began at 10:00am. At 8:00pm I left the Apple Store (the geniuses were glad to see me go, 5 of them were required to help me). Upon leaving, all files from the time capsule had been transferred to the macbook pro (at one point the genius said to me "there's a 50/50 chance this will work, if it doesn't you will lose everything" I almost cried) and the powerbook was given the definite diagnosis of a severely corrupt hard drive with the recommendation to replace it. (Sidenote: A different genius tested the airport on the powerbook and said its perfect and does not need to be replaced.)
    7. Hard drive replaced in powerbook.
    8. Powerbook used successfully to connect to macbook pro and watch a movie on the powerbook with the file based on the macbook pro.
    9. Attempted to use powerbook again for the same task. Powerbook connected to macbook pro but wouldn't show any files. I disconnected the two and tried again, this time powerbook would not connect at all...just kept saying "connecting." Attempted to restart powerbook and was greeted with the blue screen of death.
The battery in the powerbook has barely 10 cycles. The new hard drive has nothing on it except what was loaded with leopard and firefox (there is absolutely no user-created content other than the firefox cache which only loaded the welcome page so I could confirm I was connected to the internet). I have not connected it to the time capsule.
I would really like it if the powerbook worked again. Is there a deeper problem with it since it barely worked after putting a new hard drive in? Is there any chance of hope for renewed life?

I have been experiening the dreaded blue screen such as other people have reported while playing games. The windows diagnostics program states that the failure was caused by Kmixer.sys.
I have gone through the suggestions on line testing/replacing and removing items but still get a blue screen with the report pointing to kmixer.sys
I have installed all the latest drivers and have flashed the motherboard with the latest bios.

    Any suggestions to the solution?

    Hello!
Thank you for the informative post! Exemplatory!
Kmixer.sys seems to have to do with audio files.
Could you try disconnecting and unscrewing all not necessary parts, but mobo and processor, system hard disk, one stick of memory, and a CD device on a different flat cable from the hard disk, and then reinstall Windows.
Yes, I know it sounds like a lot of hard (ware) work, but if the reinstall doesn't help, at least troubleshooting will be much easier afterwards.

  • Blue Screen, kernel_data_inpage_error, disk drives missing on reboot

I just bought a new laptop, ASUS ROG G750JW, and installed a Mushkin Chronos 240GB SSD. I clean installed Windows 8.1 Pro on the SSD, and kept the original 750GB HDD, as well as a 500GB HDD, as secondary drives. I have been having rather random blue screens.
I had to disable auto-restart to see the error message: kernel_data_inpage_error.
The fun part is that when I soft restart after the blue screen, my hard drives are missing from the BIOS. I have to completely power down and then restart it for the HDDs to be detected. Since all 3 drives go missing, I can be rather confident that the problem
is not caused by any one of the drives (i.e. my SSD is not defective).
The problem originally occurred when I was installing Office 365 - the laptop would blue screen every time I tried starting the installation. However, each attempt would proceed a little further and eventually Office installed, so I can't use that as a reliable
test. Other occurrences have been, as far as I can tell, completely random. I was noticing that the BSOD occurred often enough during Windows Update installs, but I could not find any significant correlation when I compared my event log to my update
log. I was able to install the most recent Windows 8.1 Update released this Tuesday with no problems.
I have run diagnostics on all of my drives, which come back completely green. I have run chkdsk and sfc /scannow, none of which reported any errors. I have also run Driver Verifier according to the instructions
in this article which did catch several "0x000000c4" bug checks, which I was able to narrow down to the miniport driver.
My last action was to disable checking this driver in Driver Verifier, and I have not since experienced any problems. I have just finished running a 2+ hour long stability test using AIDA64 portable trial version, which caused no problems.
Since my drives go missing when this happens (whether as a cause or effect, I do not know), I have no memory dumps or event logs to share. I have since configured Windows to save memory dumps to my laptop, but with no reliable way to cause the blue screen,
I've been unable to capture a dump yet.
Soooo who wants to help me fix this? I've been offered warranty RMAs by both ASUS and Mushkin, but until I can reliably reproduce the error and confirm the cause, I'm not sending anything back (cause I don't know
    what to send!).

If you don't have dmps lets take a look at your event viewer logs
Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the .zip file to Onedrive or a file sharing service and put a link to it in your next post
If you have updated to win 8.1 and you get the error message "the system cannot find the file specified" it is a known problem.  The
work around is to edit the registry.  If you are not comfortable doing this DONT.  If you are, backup the key before you do
    Press Win+"R" and input regedit
    Navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels. Delete "Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic"

  • Select- Color Range- Results in Blue Screen (PC)  (driver out of date)

I've been using the CS6 beta about two days.  While experimenting with color range I experienced two consecutive blue screen crashes.  The first time it happened,I was working with the color range selector and was replacing the selected areas with another color using the paint bucket.  About the third time I attempted this, my PC blue screened.  The second time, I opened a photo, went to Select>Color Range and got an immediate blue screen crash.
I then went back to CS5 and I've been playing with the same scenario with no apparent problems.
My PC is a store built computer.  It consists of an MSI 990-FXA GD80 motherboard, an AMD Phenom 1100t CPU, Asus GTX550 Ti graphics card and 8 gig of RAM.  It boots from a 60 gig SSD and my programs reside on a 500 gig hard drive.  The OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  CS6 is using the hard drive for its scratch disk and Photoshop is using 4339 mb of the 7232 mb of available RAM - I haven't changed that.  I'm running CS6 as administrator because the way it installed, it would only run in that fashion.
One disappointment during the installation was CS6 made no attempt to read my preferences from the CS5 install.  That may be covered in another post, I've not yet looked.
Please keep us informed as new betas are released, because I would like some time to work with this puppy before plunking down big bux for the upgrade.  As it is now, I'm going back to CS5.  I get mighty nervous when my super computer blue screens!

The GPU is often at root of issues like yours. I've had so many problems with Nvidia drivers for their gaming-oriented adapters (like yours) that I finally went with one of their workstation cards. I have a Quadro card with just enough RAM to make Photoshop happy. The workstation drivers are optimized for reliability, the consumer card drivers are optimized for gaming and that often means they're less stable and reliable with Photoshop.

  • Windows blue screen of death crash during Boot Camp driver install

I have been trying to get Windows running under Boot Camp on my 2.66 GHz Alu iMac, but without success.
Boot Camp partitions the drive and Windows XP SP2 installs properly. I boot into Windows, and then insert my Leopard install DVD to install the Apple drivers.
The driver installation gets about halfway, then the machine crashes with a blue screen of death and restarts automatically. It puts me back in Windows, with no drivers installed.
I am installing the Boot Camp drivers from the Leopard retail DVD. This machine is missing the Leopard install/restore discs that came with it, and Apple want to charge £99 for a replacement set.
Is there any way I can get the Boot Camp drivers installed, or do I need to find a friend with the exact same machine and original system discs and use those?

    Aloha Adam.
Don't know whether this is helpful, but below is a list of drivers that are installed (as of Aug 08).
Also, if you have not already, you may find FAQ helpful, as well, at URL: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1656
Lastly, though they're a year old, the Update 2.1 is in .exe format, so if you can get it the .exe download package onto your installed Windows OS somehow (e.g., copied onto a CD, IF Windows can read it), you might stand a chance of alternate means of installing the drivers.
If this helps, please so indicate.

  • Skype video crashes my GPU driver and causes blue screen.

    Hello,
Installed a new copy of windows and got the latest version of skype for my PC (on wich skype worked just fine, video calls, voice calls, but it was an older version. No hardware changes)
With the new skype, I , for the least, get driver crashes, and for the most, a blue screen, when I just go to options to set up my webcam. As soon as I see the square "loading" my webcam in the options, everything freezes and I get a driver crash or a blue screen.
    Current specs:
    i5 4440, stock clocks
    2x8gb 1333 ddr3 1.5v ram, stock
    R7 260x, stock
500w PSU, not the best quality, But I also tried a 1000w platinum PSU, and same resaults.
last error code I remeber from the blue screen was: 0x00000116
I know it is related to the GPU, but it doesn't have power deficiency, since I manage to run heavy games just fine.By the way, my webcam works just fine on different web sites, so it's not the webcam.
    What I tried:
-Degrading to the oldest supported version by skype
    -Degrading video drivers
    -Using different webcams
-Installed all windows 7 64 bit updates
    edit:
skype 6.14 works, but newer versions crash my GPU drivers and cause blue screen

I would suggest uninstalling Droidcam as it could be the source of some delays assisting in causing the problem.  TDR problems occur when your videocard is unable to respond in 2 seconds for a variety of reasons (heat, tweaks), forcefully resetting the card.  Some people increase this delay in their registry from 2 to up to 10 seconds to give the card time to catch up so that a reset doesn't occur.  You can try this MS fix it which increases this delay. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2665946

  • Sound Blaster Zx driver install causes IO blue screen

    So things went like this:
I received my Sound Blaster Zx today. Opened it up, found that it contained some very handy instructions, so I followed those to the letter.
During the installation of the drivers, after I was prompted to choose whether or not to install the drivers by my Windows 7 64 bit (which obviously I chose to install), it blue screened with an IO error.
Then, presumably because the drivers didn't install correctly, it blue screened due to cthdb.sys every time I booted up.
I had to boot in safe mode and remove the drivers.
Then, I started up normally again. Windows automatically installed the drivers, even though it is said to do NOTHING when it detects a new device - no updates, no driver installation, no nothing. It installed the SAME drivers and so I had the IO blue screen again, and then blue screened due to cthdb.sys every time I booted.
Again I had to remove the drivers using safe mode.
No drivers will install without the card being installed, and if the card installed then the dodgy, BSOD causing drivers get installed automatically.
    What do I do?

Uninstall the sound driver via Device Manager and remove when asked all the drivers related so it doesnt reinstall them at every reboot.
Swap the card around until you find a good slot and uninstall drivers and disable in BIOS afterwards the onboard prior testing another driver.
Is the cards properly seated in the slot ?!
Ignore the metal stuff look at the slot.

  • Satellite A60: ATI graphics driver issue - blue screen error

    Hello,
I have a Sattelite A60, and I have had it for a year, and now suddenly, I have frequent crashes. The Blue Screen of Death tells me that it is caused by a driver not working properly, namely an ATI driver.

I deinstalled the display drivers and for a short while it seemed to work. However, the blue screen of death did not reappear, but now my laptop suddenly switches itself off: immediate powerdown. Also, I have had the driver failing to work properly: this resulted in the screen resolution suddenly resetting itself to safe mode. De blue screen I got before mentioned that the fault lay in ati2dvag.dll - the windows error analysis screen that appeared after my reboot told me that the problem with this dll again caused the problem. This was before and after the reinstall of the Toshiba drivers.
Going to try and reinstall them again now. See if it works this time.

My iMac is 9.1  and hers is 8.1.  We are both running Snow Leopard.  Was there some problem once upon a time with chipsets or am I mis-remembering?

Create an ISO (Encore) or folder on your hard drive (Encore or Premiere Elements) and then use the FREE http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to write files or folders or ISO to disc for DVD or BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)
Imgburn will read the ACTUAL disc brand from the disc, which is not always the same as the box label (Memorex is notorious for buying "anything" and putting it inside a Memorex box)
When you write to disc with Imgburn, use the SLOWEST possible speed setting, so your burner has the best chance to create "good, well formed" laser burn holes... since no player is required to read a burned disc, having a "good" one from a high quality blank will help

  • Bootcamp Blue Screen of Death.. Apple USB Driver ?

This started to occur to me after I upgraded to the Leopard
    drivers for Bootcamp.
I have seen this occur two times while booted in Windows XP.
Both after I left the machine idle for a long period of time..
    about 3-4 hrs.
    1) Conditions - machine is idle.. the screen energy saver is on
and the monitor is in low power/sleep mode.
    2) Conditions - both times occured when i had no internet access
connected. It occured when I took my imac to a location where
i dont have the wifi access as usual at my home.
    3) Conditions - i did have the trial of Parallels 3.0 installed
but i dont use it nor did i purchase the full version.. i need
to uninstall those components from XP still.
    4) I think in both instances Autodesk Inventor 11 was running.
The 2nd time it was, i dont remember the first time this crash happened.
I have installed all the latest service packs of this software on
    the system.
    5) Windows XP SP2, FAT32 partition, 32 GB on my iMac harddisk.
    6) Error - Windows Blue Screen of Death... i caught it only momentarily
as the machine goes into automatic reboot. I did catch USB DRIVER
    in the most recent crash.
    7) Error - Upon reboot, the machine asks to send the error report
to Micosoft. I cant because I dont have an internet access. It did
say that Windows rebooted due to a serious error and asked to send
    the info back to MS.
    8) Error - i was able to screen shot a bit of the error report
but i cant attach a jpeg of the window to this post unfortunately.
Any insight would be appreciated on this.
