Devices Can't Find Airprinter when Macbook is asleep?

Hello all,
I have a printer connected and airprint enabled on my airport express. The main computer on my network (The one which I set up all my airport devices) is a macbook. When the macbook is up and running, all my other ipods, ipads, pcs, macs can find the printer and print to it successfully. But when I put my laptop to sleep or close the lid, my other devices can no longer find the printer. When the lid is closed on my macbook, my iPhone is still able to find the airport express and connect to it via airport utility. It is only when I go to print, that I can no longer find the printer.
My setup:
My router is a time capsule connected to dsl modem via ethernet. The airport in question was set up to join my current wireless network.  I have one other airport express connected to my network. It is in the adjacent room hooked up to a stereo with airtunes enabled. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Not sure if this is related but I have the following setup:
1.83 Core Duo Mac Mini (10.5.1) used as home theater computer
500GB Lacie Porsche Drive (USB 2)
320GB Lacie Porsche Drive (USB 2)
iTunes Library and Music / Video on 500GB drive
My drives have never had a problem sleeping properly (under 10.4 or 10.5), but recently in 10.5.1 after running Front Row or iTunes and then letting the drive sleep (pausing a movie for a few minutes or even opening and then quitting iTunes) Finder, Front Row, and iTunes all become completely unresponsive and the Mini requires a hard reboot (even shutting down over SSH doesn't work).
I wonder if this could be an issue with the Lacie firmware or 10.5.1 drivers.

    No. It must be online in order to locate it.

    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
    Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
    See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
    When you get it all working make a backup!

    If you don't have any application level logging, and auditing is not enabled, there's not much hope.
    You could, if you have archive logs available, go trawling through archive logs via logminer, but that's likely to prove painful and not very fruitful, unless you're very meticulous and patient...

    To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
    Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

    VZ does not publish the upgrade schedule.  I think messages are sent to the STB a day or two before the upgrade occurs but that is it.  I understand some information may be put on dslreports about the ugprades pending.
    Being a community leader I don't even have access to the upgrade schedule.  This is kept close to the folks within VZ. I can say that the east coast upgrades are put on hold while VZ CWA workers are striking.

    I'm trying to download the newest version of iTunes b/c I haven't been on my computer in forever....but it won't let me until I download at least os x version 10.6.8 or later, and I currently have 10.5.8....what in the world do I do?  I can't find my mac on the site to be able to download it?  I just have a MacBook...nothing special about it.  Trying to do this is so frustrating when I know it shouldn't be this difficult!

    Thanks. They were in the download folder, but the name was changed to a number and characters. That is why finder could not find my file.
