Devices enroll but do not appear in the Devices section in Profile Manager
Hi,
I am able to download and install the enrollment file, and when I check the devices enrolled by a user I can see the device attached to that users name, but when I click the link arrow next to the device name or go into the devices page, the device doesn't appear. Anyone have a solution for this? It's preventing me from managing any devices as it appears as if they are not there. I also notice that the Enroll button is still there in "my devices" after successful enrollment.

Just in case anyone else get's this issue I managed to fix it by first enrolling the device then entering a place holder for the device in profile manager using that devices serial number. Then it seems to recognise the device

Initially there was no Personal HotSpot appearing on my phone , but i configured it while going in the cellular section and it appeared on the main Setting options with On/Off button and it was Working Fine , (this was mentioned in the many discussions and that fixed my Issue) , but now Suddenly the Option of Personal Hot Spot has disappeared from the Menu , I have gone to cellular , then Cellular Data to on the Personal Hot spot but there only Appears , Cellular Data & MMS

Reset Network settings
Hard reset
On/Off the phone
Delete the Extra Profiles.

Start by rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, search for adobefnt*.lst and delete all instances where * becomes a 2-digit number.

how can I open the outbox for mail? That is, mail that i have finished and pressed 'send' but has not appeared in the 'sent' folder
The reason it will not be in the sent folder is, it failed to send.
If it failed to send, then you will see the Outbox icon. 'Pending' would be a more descriptive name.
When it eventually sends, the Outbox will not show in the Mail app interface.
Until it is sent it will stay stuck in the Outbox.
If it refuses to send, you can manually delete it in Finder, at the location ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Outbox.mbox
Close Mail first, before you search for that email using the Finder.

I purchased seven songs from the iTunes store on my iPod Touch.They appear all in order on my iPod, but do not appear in my library, or on my iTunes purchased account history. I am trying to burn a cd with these songs, but cannot because they won't appear on the computer. Any help?

Postings on profit center but does not appear in the profit center report
Hi all!
I have a very strange problem. My customer is using cost of sales accounting. When I reconcile the cost of sales accounting profit and loss report with a profit center or cost center report I found that for a certain month there is a few descrepancies. I found that for a certain functional area I had postings on a specific account (account 451240 loss price differences) on functional area and both on cost center and profit center but these postings does not appear in the profit center or cost center reports. When I look at the postings in fbl3n or fs10n I can see that they are assigned to both cost centers and profit centers. How is this possible? How can a posting be made to a cost center or profit center but not appear in the corresponding reports?

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.

MsDaOra is the old (bases on Ora 8.5) deprecated Microsoft driver for Oracle; you should avoid to use this driver.
You can install the 32 bit and 64 bit Oracle OleDb driver parallel on the machine, that works. The you can use the driver version depending on the tool you work with.

Name of files do not appear in the files section
I've been using Adobe Audition 3.0 for three years now and it has been FANTASTIC. (on a 3 year old Dell with the Vista OS).
However, something quirky happened this morning that is frustrating....when I drag an audio file onto my workstation, like I always do, the actual wave appears on my timeline, BUT, the name of the file no longer appears in the files section to the left of the workstation.
I've re-started my compter several times to no avail. Has anybody else ever experienced this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have an impending deadline due for a large project and this sudden disappearance of file names has rendered my Audition virtually unusable.

Or.....[email protected]There are some buttons right at the bottom of the Files window under the Sort By box that allow you to show or hide different file types. Perhaps one of those has become unclicked.

Transport of Query successful, but changes not appeared in the report
Hi All,
I have 2 Queries(Normal and Total stock reports on the same InfoProvider) in Prd.
For that User asked me to add one characteristic to Free characteristics.
I added one characteristic in Free Characteristics to both Queries in Dev and i collected the Transport requests for both the queries in RSA1->TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS and gave it to basis guy, he transported successfully to PRD and for both the reports the changes reflected in the
query designer, while executed the Normal stock report the characteristic added in free characteristics appeared and while drill down the data is coming, but for the Total stock report the changes appeared in Query designer but on executing the report even the characteristic added to Freecharacteristics is not appearing in Navigation Pane.
Also with the same technical name of total stock report there are 2 reports appearing in query designer. what to do now.
Help me here asap..

As you mentioned that you can see 2 versions by the same technical name in designer for total stock report, it is highly probable that the query you are changing and the query you are executing are different.
2 versions of a query can exist with the same technical name as the system identifies the queries by their UIDs, which would be different for both these versions of queries.Following are the things you need to check:
1) In development system too, do you have 2 versions?
2) In production system, check the UID for both verions of the query
3) In Dev system, make sure you modify the query with UID which is being executed, if it is available there. Else, you need to replace the query in prod with the one you have in Dev system.
2 versions by same technical name can exist if:
1) Someone created a query directly in Prod, and transported a query by same technical name from Dev system
2) or due to system refresh, copy, etc.

Leopard: my account works, but does not appear in the login screen
I upgraded to leopard using erase and install. Because I was a FileVault user on Tiger, I could not use the migration assistant, so I just created a new account. As part of the creation, I also changed my userid and groupid to 1000, to match the rest of my NFS network, and I also enabled FileVault.
When the login window appears, my account does not show up. I can click "Other..." and enter my short name and password and it seems that everything is fine. However, I would like my account to appear on the login window. Currently, the only three items are Guest, System User (a admin account that I created), and Other.The rules determining whether or not an account is visible in the "login window" seem to keep changing with every OS X version - perhaps they changed again in "Leopard". For example, in Tiger, a user with the short name "Admin" was inherently hidden (and to my knowlege couldn't be made visible unless logged in), but this is not the case in Leopard.
I can't test this in Tiger, but on my Leopard system, it seems 1000 is a magic number - uid=999 and 1001 are visible, but 1000 is hidden from the "login window".
Sorry I don't know of a solution - it's all too new at this point so I can't even say if one exists. But thanks for asking an interesting question... -
Some of my purchased apps show installed but don't appear as icons on my phone. How do I get them to be icons?
I am back. I have now sorted out my Launch Pad to be organized the way I want it. I have decluttered my Dock. Very nice.
Now I want to add some of the remaining icons for apps that did not automatically show up in Launch Pad. So, again, how do I do that?
