Devices tab and click

1 went to www.hpconnected.com 2 created an account 3 select the devices tab, and click add a device. Where is the Device tab ? This question has been asked over and over and HP should have a simple explanation, yet noone can find how to select the Devices tab and add device then enter a claim code. Wow! Help!

You can middle-click a link to open the link in a new tab.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Where to find Devices tab and enter the printer's claim code????????

Just finished setting up the printer. Hooray it was easier than I thought. But now I have a print out that said I need to create an account. I already have an account so I signed in. But I cannot find the Devices tab or where to enter the printer's claim code. Could someone from HP or another user assist me. I would greatly appreciate the assistance and I wish to thank you in advance.

I want to transfer a movie I have downloaded from itunes to my new IPAD. I have been on the itunes help menu, it tells me to look under 'devices' tab for IPAD. BUT there is no 'devices' tab and it does not list my new IPAD. Help!

They all tell me to go to the DEVICES tab on itunes and select IPAD then sync. YUP seem simple, BUT there is not DEVICES tab listed on my itunes and it does not list IPAD. Years ago I set up my IPOD no problem and that is listed, but not the new IPAD. Can anyone help? I would love to be able to actually watch films on my IPAD!! thanks

If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.

I want to set Firefox to never remember history. When I do this using the tools tab and click okay, it goes right back to "Use Custom Settings for History". I don't want that.

I know how to manage privacy using the tools tab at the top of the address bar, or so I thought. I want to choose "Never Remember History". When I do that, and click "OK", the next time I check the privacy settings, the history is right back to "Use custom settings for history". I don't want this. Also, I don't want to use autocomplete for forms, but I can't get those settings to stay, either. I basically don't want info. stored on this computer. My system was hacked several months ago, by some joker who named all my system folders a racist slur (I reported it to Norton, and a technician had a look at it). Anyway, I want to keep things as safe as possible. Please allow me to delete all my history when I close Firefox. I don't really like Google, either, because they have a reputation for not respecting people's privacy. I don't like that I didn't have an option to uncheck google's toolbar when I installed Firefox.

That is probably OK. 
You may have changed one of the other history or cookie settings.
If Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" setting then that is an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings are not the default to make you aware that changes were made.

Some tabs and click-on headings are not working. They worked yesterday, and other than updating Firefox AFTER the problems, I've made no changes. Example: headings in Facebook; headings in my library website.

Some of the browser tabs and headers that are "clickable" are noe working. I click on them, and nothing happens. Part of Facebook works, but the headers do not. My library site headers, which has tabs for "Search" and "Account" as examples, do not work. Up till late yesterday, there were no problems. I did re-install Firefox this morning, and it made no difference.

The Yahoo! Toolbar extension has been reported to cause this issue.

I open a new tab, and click on the bookmark in the bookmark toolbar, and the web site opens in a side bar. I want it to open in the full tabbed window.

I love Firefox, but this problem is frustrating me. I want to go to a favorite site and have bookmarked it. When I click on that bookmark, the site opens in a sidebar! How do I make it open in the full tab window?

You can edit the properties of that bookmark to fix this.
If you right-click it and choose Properties, you will check a checkbox toward the bottom of the dialog that opens the bookmark in the sidebar. Uncheck that and click Save.
Does it work?
(When you use a link on a website to store a bookmark, they get added this way. You can use Ctrl+d or the "star" in the location bar to add the bookmark without having it open in the sidebar.)

TS1510 My iTunes song library is not synching with my iPod Shuffle.I go to the devices tab, and the snych link is gray and not highlighted. Does anybody know how I can transfer these songs onto my shuffle ?

I got a little Ipod shuffle as a stocking stuffer. I spent lots of money downloading songs to my library. My shuffle was plugged into my computer, and I thought my songs were being synched onto the shuffle. They were not. I returned to my iTunes account and went to devices, and the sync tab is not highlighted. It's gray. How can I download the songs in my library to my shuffle ?

Thanks for that information my friend. I KNOW THAT -- but that was one of only three options they require us to submit, and none match our/my issue under community help forum. I believe they should broaden that spectrum. You seem like someone who is very well-versed in Apple products, it would have been nice of you to offer some sort of help, instead of telling me, and others, that this is an iPhone forum. I rented a movie from ITunes yesterday and now I cannot figure out how to watch it on Apple TV. I have done this before, and to watch it later on, I would go back under the "Movies" option, find the movie, and there would be a Play option available. We did the update to Apple TV yesterday. Now when I go back to the movie, I see the original options. Preview, Rent, Buy, etc. When I click on Rent again, it says the movie has already been rented but not downloaded. It instructs me to go under Settings/Downloads/Check Downloads, but there is nothing under Settings about Downloads. I found an option to Check for Rentals, but when I click on that option, it just keeps searching, with no results. Any ideas? This worked before the update, even though it took forever to download a movie....

I had the same issue with my apple tv 3rd generation. I rented Sinister and selected the "rent and watch now" option. Half way through the movie I accidentally pressed the menu button. When I looked for the rented movie on my apple tv I could not find it. Not even above the movie pannel where "purchased" and "top movies" comes up on the main menu. the apple tv suggests to go to settings>downloads but I don't have that option. I did go to settings> itunes store> check rentals but that didnt work either. It took too long to even check. Thank you because this SOLUTION worked great.
SOLUTION: How to reset apple tv 3 3rd generation to view rented movies:on the apple tv remote: press and hold "menu" to go to the main menu. Select SETTINGS> GENERAL >RESET >RESET ALL SETTINGS. After the apple tv resets, input all your information again and your rented movies should be visible when you cruise above the "movies" section. THANK YOU!!
Apple needs to solve this issue because honestly it took me 3 hours and a half to watch a movie that only lasted 2 BECAUSE I wast trying to solve the issue, reseting and all. blahh.

When I open a new tab and click on a new link it open an entire new browser page. This started today with an update i just received.

When I open a new tab I get routed to a new browser window. I currently have about 10 browser windows across my lower screen and cannot change the tab setting to do anything different.

Why the fox tab not wroking in my pc? i am uning win xp.when i opened up several tab and click onthe fox tab awindow appears of instaliing flash player. Also in facebook the vdos are visible.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit

Unable to swich tabs and click on links or type bars

last night, i was on firefox on youtube i do beleive and it froze and said "not responding" then after a moment or so it came back and then i couldent click on some of the page. i tryed closing it down then restarting firefox. when that didnt work, i updated to the new firefox. still didnt work. so i loged off for the night and then come back today, tried clearing my cookies. didnt work. then i tried uninstalling firefox and reinstaled it. still isnt working

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

When I get on the internet using firefox, it is real slow as numerous tabs are dispayed. never had this problem in past. If I right clisk on one of the tabs and click on "close other tabs" it does, but next time I get onto Firefox the same thing happens.

Last week Firefox would not open at all so I got onto the internet using windows explorer. I then wen to firefox and downloaded it. since then I hav had this problem.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

All these programs have free versions.

How do I manually add new content to my iPad now without synchronizing ??
I used to be able to see the content of my iPad by clicking the "On this device" tab and then to add files by drag/ drop.
But now the "on this device" tab which they refer to has completely disappeared, and there is no answer anywhere in the Apple Support - they all refer to the old iTunes version.
Anyone has the same issue? a solution?

It still works exactly the same way. Try in the iTunes menu bar > View > Show Sidebar.
