DHCP - UDP 67 and 68 Multiple Occurrences From Single Host
Hello Forum. On our core switches I've captured clients using port 68 destined to a broadcast address 255.255.255.255 on port 67 throughout the day. Within a hour period some stationary Windows 7 clients can be found doing this at least 4 times.
So, what can be causing a client to have this behavior throughout the day? Is there a setting I should change on the client or on the DHCP server? Thanks.
Hello Sandeep, in this case the ip request would be recieved from the same voice interface on which the ip helper-address was assigned.
By using the ip helper-address command, a router can be configured to accept a broadcast request for a UDP service and then forward it as a unicast to a specific IP address

Then yes, it is.
Create the first, then you start to create the second by adding your top(business year) level on the same level as the one you have (year) both under your total.
Then when you would add your second base level, there is a special option for it, something like use other hierarchy level/shared level (sorry can't recall and does not have a connection right now) then you select your existing day level under your businessmonth level.

Each time you call you Smartform function module you will need to change the values in structure OUTPUT_OPTIONS slightly.
On the first call set TDNEWID to X.
After this, set it to space
On the last form set TDFINAL to X.
This will put all of the output into one spool request, in the order they are called in the program.

h have big movieclip 450X350 and there are many small thumbnails i need to mask those from big movieclip, I need to animate those so that i can't put those in a single movieclip, Is it possible to mask multiple movieclips from single movieclip...?If you want to mask them using Actionscript then you should be able to place them inside a movieclip/sprite as separate animations/movieclips and then assign the mask to the container.

I have a scenario where I have an XML, but not its XSD so my question is of two fold
1. Is it possible to create an XSD from that XML, if possible how?
2. Assume I get the XSD how do I read the min and max occurrence from that XSD?
PS: I am coding in java and pretty new to it, so it would be really helpful if I get the code snippets for the same :)

The error message is correct. When you want to map the same Web cache to 2 servers, you can do one of the following:
Consider the servers to be called s1 and s2.
Option 1:
If you want Web Cache to communicate with s1 and s2 through the same port, then do the following:
1) Open Web cach's Admin UI
2) Go to 'Site-to-Server Mapping' page
3) Select the mapping you have currently
4) Click 'Edit Selected'
5) In the 'Edit/Add Site-to-Server Mapping' pop-up that appears, you can see a section titled ' Select Application Web Servers'. Under this, you will be able to see both s1 and s2 (if you have added them through the Origin Servers page). Select both s1 and s2.
6) Click 'Submit'
7) 'Apply Changes'
8) Restart Web cache
And there you go!
Option 2:
1) Add some unused port as the 'Listen port' of Web Cache through the 'Listen Ports' page
2) Then in 'Site Definitions' page, add the host_name:new_listen_port as a site
3) In 'Site to Server mapping' page, select some existing mapping, then click 'Insert above/below' and do the mapping between the new site and the second server.
4) apply changes
5) restart web cache
and that's it!

Here I am with a scenario where i didnt find any solution in SDN and in most threads it is unanswered.
I have 1 KF which is a date field. With reference to Serial no, I want to find out the Max and Min date from the same KF. I created 2 CKF where the same KF is used in both CKF to find the Min and Max dates,

You have FM --DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES you can use this while Customer Exit.
Try to Have 2 RKF for Min Data and Max Date and create a formula/CKF on the same ..

Call Multiple Files From Single ColdFusion Scheduled Task
Our host only allows us to have 5 scheduled tasks per account but we need to run cfml applications to import data for multiple sites (at least 15 processes). What I'd like to do is combine all the 'sample requests' for all sites into ONE scheduled task that will run them one after another thus cutting back on the number of scheduled tasks needed.
We're using ColdFusion to connect to a MySQL DB to gather all sample requests. First the app retrieves all the unflagged records from a remote db then begins looping through all the returned records. On the each loop, the app 'scrubs' the data by properly formatting phone numbers, fixing address abbreviations, etc. Next the app saves the scrubbed data to a local MS SQL table then starts the loop over on the next row. Lastly the app sends out an email saying it has completed successfully.
What I'm trying to do is Create a New Parent App that will run as a scheduled task to do the following:
- New Parent App Runs as Scheduled Task and calls/includes first of X sample request app files
- New Parent App runs first sample request app as described above (which can take up to a minute to process)
- Parent app waits until after first sample request app completes, then Parent App goes on to second sample request app, etc.
- After all sample requests are complete New App sends completion email with date and time
The problem I'm having is getting the scheduled task to wait for apppage1.cfm to finish before loading apppage2.cfm and so on. Can you give me a simple codeset that accomplishes this?
I've attached a sample of the include page the needs to complete before moving on!Our approach is a bit more comprehensive.
First, we (meaning my co-workers) wrote a custom tag that does something like this:

Printing Issues with HP D145 and multiple users from G5
Hi - I've a HP D145 All-In-One connected via USB to a G5 (as described below). The machine has multiple accounts on for different members of my family. The printer is directly connected to the G5 via USB connection but is shared with other Macs. Printing has become increasingly difficult, and we now have the following problems:
1. Printing will only work from the administrators account.
2. Printing periodically (daily, generally after a few hours of use) stops from the administrators account
Solutions tried:
a. Check set up for the non-administrators accounts....Looks OK for printing
b. When printing stops - I've tried repairing the permissions with the Disk Utility. This no longer works.
c. Run Printer Setup Repair (with option to repair all user accounts) - Works for the administrators account providing the computer and printer are restarted, otherwise no effect.
d. Reinstalling the software - No effect
It’s beginning to look like I need to replace this printer with one that works.
You can help me in two ways - how to solve the printer problems, or alternatively suggest a colour All-in-One printer that can work with multiple accounts and does not have the problems mentioned above.

Simply reinstalling the software will not be enough to solve the
problem. Try these steps to resolve the issue at hand:
From the Administrator account:
Double-click on the Macintosh Hard Disk.
Open Applications.
Click and drag Hewlett Packard Folder to the trash.
Close all windows.
Double-click on the Macintosh Hard Disk.
Open the Applications folder.
Open the Utilities folder.
Double-click on Process Viewer/Activity Monitor
If Activity Monitor does not appear:
Choose Monitor in the toolbar across the top.
Check Show Activity Monitor.
Ensure the Activity Monitor shows "All Processes", instead of "My
Processes".
Single-click and quit each of the applications starting with HP, using
the Stop Sign that says "Quit Process" beneath it.
Close Activity Monitor.
Double-click Macintosh Hard Disk.
Open the Library folder.
Open the Preferences folder.
Click and drag either HP AIO Preferences or Hewlett Packard Preferences

2. The reasons why it may not have worked:
We need to be sure that you are fully logging out of one account and
then back into the next. The fast user switching feature of the Mac OS
can create problems with our printer drivers. For this reason, fast user
switching is not supported by HP.
The other issue we may be running into would be the Mac OS itself. Over
the past few months the Mac OS has gone through several updates. When
the 10.4.4 version was released it created some issues with our existing
software. An updated version of our software has been developed which
works well with 10.4.4 and higher, but it is not available for this
printer.
It may be that as each new OS update is installed on your computers that
the issue becomes worse. If you are running the Mac OS 10.4.3 or lower
then the version 7.3.1 of our software should work fine. If it is 10.4.4
or higher there will be some issues as the new OS versions do not seem
to like the older drivers.
I would have to recommend retrying the full uninstall the Derek had
outlined. This time however, just install the downloaded 7.3.1 software
from our web site for the D145. Once it has been installed we need to
test it fully without adding the scanjet software. I am hoping that
without both version of our software installed it may work better.
This should resolve the issue. If you need further assistance, please

3. The repsonse to questions on switching and OS X 10.4.4
You are correct, since you are running the 10.4.4 I cannot guarantee
that the older software version will allow full functionality. It should
allow for printing and as long as you avoid the fast user switching,
when trying to print, it should keep working well.
I understand the convenience of fast user switching but you will have to
log completely out of one user, and then log properly into the next
before you can expect the printer to function.
I would still recommend trying the steps I had outlined as it really is
the only thing you can do that may work.

I cannot seem to create multiple dimensions based one one single logical table. For example, I have a Time table from which I'd like to create a calendar time dimension and a fiscal time dimension. However, as soon as one dimension is created, I cannot create another dimension from the same logical table.

If I understood your requirement correctly you need to create multiple Hierarchies out of a single Logical Dimension table, this is possibe the base rule for creating a hierarchy is you should have a common starting point( Grand Total Level) and a common ending point( Detail Level), first create this and create sublevels and share the Detail Level as a child. This will allow you to create multiple hiearchies out of a single dimension. One level will have drill down on the Calendar dimension and one one the Fiscal and both will have the common detail key like day key.Hope this helps.

I have created in the parent, a form with 3 fields and an update button.
the child records all have multiple columns, 3 of which correspond to the parent.
Athe parent is bound to the child records by the shipmentID
I need to be able to update all child records from the form in the parent.

How to handle multiple requests from single client??
hi all
I wrote a client server program to handle requests from client.I have 2 types of requests, one is to submit comments to the server other is to view comments on the server.I have tested the app and it works fine for either of them(independently) but they don't work both together i.e when i submit a comment and view it,it's stuck and when i close the program it gives SocketException :Connection reset.
on client side:

on the server side:
I check the string and give the client what it wants.
I want to know if there's any other way to send requests other than passing it as a string.

Unable to open .txt files because I "don't have permission"
I've had this problem on and off for the last month, but now it seems that every .txt file on my computer is affected. When I attempt to open a text file I get the notification that I don't have permission. I've gone into "Get Info" and checked that
