Diagram on how to load envelopes

My printer is an officejet 4500 G510G-M and I have Windows 7.
When I load envelopes to print, the diagram on the screen tells me to put the flap on the right side; however, that is incorrect.  I need to load the envelopes with the flap on the left side.  My problem is I rarely load envelopes (only at Christmas time) and when I do, I run through a few before I get it right.  Is there any way of changing that diagram?
Thanks,
Clare

Hey @claregirl7,
I understand that you're having issues printing envelopes on your HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer G510g. I would like to assist you with resolving this issue. As you stated, you know how to load envelopes and you just need guidance on where to change the diagram for how the envelope is loaded. In order for me to provide you accurate troubleshooting steps I do have a few questions for you.
1. What Operating System is on your Computer?
What's my OS?
2. What program are you printing envelopes from?
3. Are you printing the standard #10 envelope size?
With that being said, most people print envelopes through Word so I'll provide you the steps on how to properly print an envelope through that program. Again, should these steps be incorrect be sure to respond to this post with your operating system and the program you're printing from so I can give you accurate steps.
How to Print Envelopes from Word:
Open Word and click on Mailings at the top
Select 'Envelopes' from the top left hand side
An Envelopes and Labels page should now open. Enter your Delivery and Return Addresses.
Select 'Options' on the bottom right hand side.
Under the 'Envelope Options' tab ensure that your Envelope size is appropriately selected.
Select the 'Printing Options' tab at the top. You now need to select the appropriate Feed Method for your product.
Make sure that you choose the 'Face Down' option.
Also ensure that 'Clockwise Rotation' is selected.
Hit 'OK' and 'print'
Also, I'm going to include the loading envelopes document for your printer for added guidance.

On my OJ Pro 8600, When I go to print a # 10 envelope, it feeds the envelope through and then prints the address on a letter page.  I was forced to set the printer preferences to #10 envelope, and within Word, set the paper type to # 10 envelope, set Word up for center feed, and then put everything back to print normally.  ON my 6500 all I had to do was hit print.  There must be a way to print single envelopes without jumping through all these hoops!!

  • How to Print Envelopes - HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP

I can't work out how to print envelopes on my HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP.
I put the envelope upright (flap down) in the adjustable tray at the very top of the machine (as I have done in almost every printer I've used) and it prints the address on a sheet of paper!

    Hi goodgrandma ,
I see by your post that you would also like to know how to print envelopes.
I will be happy to help you.
Both the Laserjet m251 and M276 have a main tray only.
Above the tray is the jam access door to remove paper jams.
To print on the envelopes, you would need to remove all the paper from the main tray and load the envelopes in the main (bottom) tray, to print to envelopes with these two units.
If you are using Word Application, click on Tools, select Letters and Mailing/Envelopes and labels, the envelope box will open, in the envelope tab enter your address, click on Options, click the Printing Options tab, you will need to change the Feed from to Auto, it is likely set to Manual.
What is the full name and product
number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
    Hope this helps.
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.

  • Ecore diagram editor does not load when I click the (aird) file

When I click on an aird file , which I created for the first time to graphically edit an ecore diagram, the diagram editor does not load, but instead, Eclipse opens the aird file as xml in a text editor! Why this is happening? and how can I solve this? any thoughts?
I am using Eclipse 4.4.2. in mac.
I updated the content, with the hope to get a reply.

    Hi, sorry for the lag.
This might happen depending on the perspective you are using, please try with the "Modeling" perspective.
You should be able to load the .aird using right-click=>open and then see the corresponding diagrams as childs of the .aird file.

  • How to load a Jar file in the class path?

How to load a Jar file which contains class files, images, etc.. in the classpath without using URLClassLoader.

You don't "load" jars. If it's on the classpath, you can obtain individual resources from it using various methods on either Class or ClassLoader. Do you mean "how to add a jar to the classpath at runtime"? Can't be done without using a classloader, typically URLClassLoader or a subclass thereof. Why you want to not use the proven method is beyond me. Presumably because you don't understand classloading. In which case, forget it.

  • How to load a selective request from PSA to DSO using DTP?

    Hi Gurus,
The PSA is having 3 requests, how to load the request number 2 from psa to DSO using DTP?
    Thanks
    SDP
Edited by: SDPSAP on Nov 15, 2011 7:58 PM

Let us say that requests are 1,2 and 3. 1 being the first one and 3 is the last one. Now you need to load request 2 in DSO from PSA.
    - create a Delta DTP
    - Tick "Only Get Delta Once"
    - Tick "Get One Request Only"
    - Untick "Reterive Until No More New Data"
    - execute the DTP, it will load request 1 to DSO
    - delete this request from DTP
    - execute DTP again, it will load request 2 to DSO; this is what you need.
If DSO is write optimized, you do not need to untick "Reterive Until no More New Data"; just execute the DTP, it will create 3 requests in DSO, delete first and last and you will get only 2 in DSO.
    I hope it helps.

    Gaurav

  • How to load and unload more than one external swf files in different frames?

I am Arabic language teacher, and I design an application to teach Arabic, I just would like to learn how to load and unload more than one external swf files in different frames.

Look into using the Loader class to load the swf files.  If you want to have it happen in different frames then you can put the code into the different frames.

  • How to load site in a reinstalled Dreamweaver

    Hello,
I had to move from a desktop PC to a laptop. I had to install
Studio 8 all over again and I have all the files I was using
    earlier in my desktop.
When starting Dreamveaver I can see the folder structure in
"files/assets/snippets" but I don't know how to load the main
folder where my work is stored. (Where was doing my work earlier in
    the desktop)
    Example:
I was working with a site named A. This is a folder named "A
" that should appear under the "files/assets/snippets" window.
All I see after the reinstall is the Desktop and all the
folders in my HD along with the folder that I was working with.
The "Manage Sites" small window is blank right now.
How do I place the folder (site?) "A" back in the
"Files/Assets/Snippets" column so I can open my HTML's already
created, access the icons and other folders below "A" ?
    thank you

"> The "Manage Sites" small window is blank right now.
Did you export your site definitions to a folder that you
    could move by FTP
or portable device to the laptop? If so, all you need to do
    is import the
site definitions and make sure your folder structure is
    identical to your
    other computer.
