As of now we got two similar complaints. both are different meetings.

but in working meeting scenario after "MediaSessionAgent.set_connectivityEstablished" action "Mediationcall.constructor" action is occurring.
in both of the scenario the session went via my Lync edge server.

    dial-up connection disconnects after awhile

Upgraded to Firefox 8.0 . . . dail-up lasting a bit longer, but still disconnects.
It seems like nobody is able to help me.
Perhaps the Firefox developers don't care about dial-up users.

  • CWMS dialin conference disconnect

hello i use cisco webex meeting server
but when i dial in webex
if i dial a wrong conference ID the webex will tell me i dial wrong
but if i dial a right conference ID ,the webex will disconnect...
    why

    Call-In Issues
Problem    Users hear a reorder tone before or after the complete number is dialed.
Problem    The "Your call cannot be completed as dialed" message is played by the annunciator.
Possible Cause    You need to reconfigure your CUCM servers.
Solution    In CUCM, go to the route pattern being used for Cisco WebEx Meetings Server, and check the configured partition. Then go to the device you are calling from and check the configured Calling Search Space. Select Call Routing > Class of Control > Calling Search Space, go to the configured calling search space and make sure it has the partition listed configured for the route pattern for Cisco WebEx Meetings Server. If the partition is set to <None> any device configured in Cisco Unified Communications Manager would be able to call Cisco WebEx Meetings Server.

  • Dial-up connection disconnects when importing CDs into iTunes

When importing a CD, my dial-up Internet connection disconnects after each song has finished importing. The importing doesn't seem to be affected, but I keep having to reconnect. This is very annoying!
Has anyone else had this problem, and how can I fix it?

This is also a known phenomenon on Macs with a dial-up connection.
For Macs there is a workaround, but no solution yet.
By using an Applescript, the firewall settings will be toggled on CD insert, preventing iTunes to contact Gracenote (to get track information).
I don't know something similar for Windows.
Maybe you can write some code yourself.
The URL to block (temporary) is "http://service.gracenote.com"
You can always get the track information later by selecting all tracks of an imported CD and choosing 'Get CD Track Names' from the Advanced menu in iTunes.

    hi Michelle!
where do I begin trying to find the culprit?
actually, i just remembered seeing somewhere (i've lost the thread, though) someone reporting a problem with their internet connection that went away after they updated their
    b sound card drivers
    (of all things).
so let's try working through this document on sound problems in itunes. let's try/check-on
    b everything
there, and see if a sort of "audio spring clean" fixes both problems for you.
(thinking here that since neither of us know
    b precisely
what's going on, this can at least provide us with a structured place to start our investigations.)

  • When joining a Lync dial-in conference the name recording is not working for participants

When our participants join a Lync conference via dial-in they are prompted with "After the tone please record your name then press pound." But then immediately the conference attendant says "You're now joining the meeting as an unknown participant."
The system is not allowing time for a recording at all.
I checked Get-CsDialinConferencingConfiguration and the output originally showed:
    Identity                               : Global
    EntryExitAnnouncementsType             : UseNames
    EnableNameRecording                    : True
    EntryExitAnnouncementsEnabledByDefault : False
For troubleshooting I turned off name recording to see what would happen and also changed entry announcement to tone only but there is no change what so ever. The attendant still asks for a recording and doesn't allow any time to actually record.
    Jacen

    Hi,
Please try to change the value of "EntryExitAnnouncementsEnabledByDefault" to True. and then test again.
Please also make sure Lync Server update to the latest version.

  • Dial In Conference Bridge

Hello all. We have CCM 4.1(3)sr1 and Unity. We currently have a pub and a sub and have each configured as a software conference bridge for meetme's and adhoc's. Is it possible with this equipment to set up a permanent conference bridge that we can map and external DID that we can give to users to join a repeating weekly conference? If not, what is needed to make this happen, or can you direct me to the docs to find out? Thanks
    Brian

Meetme number can be configured as its DID number itself (9725425900 for callers calling from outside. Telco sends 5900 to your PRI, 5900 is a meetme number)
    or
you can create a Translation pattern which maps to a Meetme number. The Translation pattern could be a DID number. So your meet me number in this case will be a non-DID number say 5800. You create a translation pattern 5900 (which is a DID number) and translate that to 5800.
The conference host should dial 5900 at the right time of the conference so that people calling in will be added to the bridge.

  • Dial-up randomly disconnects.

I use an IMac G5 & dial-up internet via the built in modem. Ever since I upgraded to OS 10.5 I have had this problem. I can usually count on a random disconnect occurring within the first 15 minutes of going on-line. After reconnecting I can usually go for a longer period.
About a minute before the disconnect, all network activity comes to a halt. After the disconnect I get the alert message: "The modem has unexpectedly hung up. Please verify your settings & try again".
The hardware test didn't uncover anything. I also installed OS 10.4.11 on an external drive & when I boot from it I never have this problem so I believe this to be a software problem with 10.5.
In the earlier revisions of 10.5 I would also frequently get a kernal panic requiring a reboot. I believe this to be a related problem because these only occurred when on-line. With the later revisions, the kernal panics have become less frequent. So far I haven't had a kernal panic with 10.5.6 but the problem of random disconnects remains.
    Anyone else had this problem?

    Thanks for your suggestions.
I installed 10.5 from the original DVD I received when I purchased leopard on an empty volume on my external drive which I erased just for this purpose. I used just the default installation options. The problem of random disconnects continues. As one of the disconnects was taking place I also got a kernal panic. As I noted in my first post, it is the early versions of 10.5 that are most prone to kernal panics & I suppose if I also upgraded this install to 10.5.6 the kernal panics would go away.
Do you have any other suggestions?

  • Lync dial in conference

One of the Lync user conference id expired. Not sure how this was expired and the user still has the recurrence meeting in calendar. ie the meeting does not expired, only the conference id expired.
The URL for lync meeting working. Only the conference id does not work. This is a recurrence meeting.
User does not want to cancel the meeting and resend a new meeting invite.
Also if the user reset the conference information, he might need to send all of his invote again.
Any other idea to assign the meeting id for that particular meeting....
    - Muralidharan. Please mark as answer/useful if my contribution helps you.

    Hi,
For a recurring scheduled meeting with an end date, the expiry time is the scheduled end time of the last meeting occurrence plus 14 days.
For a recurring scheduled meeting without a specified end date, the expiry time is 6 months after the last meeting activation.
I think you need reset the conference information and send the information to others again.

  • Nokia 3650 disconnects after dialing ISP

Using the Nokia IR 6210_8xxx script, I am able to successfully establish a Bluetooth connection with my Nokia 3650, but after dialing it simply disconnects.
I can manually dial the ISP from the 3650 and listen to the handshake.
Prior to installing Tiger, I was able to do a dial-up connection using the Nokia 3650 as a modem.

Thanks Alexander and Stephen — oh that I had found Stephen's link before I got my phone to work, it might have saved me hours of fun, but as I was sitting on a remote Scottish Island, it was only after I got it to work that I could read it.
The Nokia now works perfectly on the UK's O2 service (albeit at a pitiful 9,200) and I even took half a dozen photographs with the phone, transferred them to my iBook, then sent them via the telephone attached to an e-mail.
I never discovered what the problem was other than painstakingly repeating the pairing and bluetooth dial-up settings until both the phone and the computer believed me.
The only small sensitivity I have discovered is that it is completely reliable if I put the bluetooth dongle in the USB socket with the machine switched off, then fire it up.
I know that it is slow using the phone as a modem on the GSM network, but even paying for the extra time involved, it is nowhere near as expensive as being charged at the data rates on GPRS.

  • Delayed Number Entry - Iphone Dialing Conference number and then passcode?

How do I use the Iphone to dial a conference number when you need to wait to enter the passcode - I want to set up these frequently dialed conference numbers as contacts and have the iphone automatically enter the number, wait, and then enter the passcode.
    Thanks - Elyse

enter the number in your contacts in this format:
    (555)555-1234 ,555
The space and the comma inserts a pause before the next numbers dial.
(note: I have had problems getting this to work when on the speaker phone, the second numbers dont go thru, off of speaker it works fine)

  • Bluetooth disconnects when using speed dial

When I make a call by dialing the number or taking it from my contacts, the bluetooth headset acts normally. When I dial a contact via speed dial, the bluetooth disconnects and I have to go into the menu and "activate headset" Any thoughts?? Thx

I have the exact same problem.  I have had the Pearl since it came out and never had an issue.  I just received the 8900 and I now have this issue which is more than annoying.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • How do I program pauses and/or waits in speed dials

I am using Cisco IP Communicator 8.6.1.0 softphone. I have entered speed dials and I am looking for how to enter a pause or wait so that it can dial the conference phone number and then enter the conference code. The popup says I can only enter numbers (0-9), plus ( + ), asterisk (*), or pound (#). If I enter a plus, the phone gives me a busy signal when dialing. I cannot enter a comma (,) which is common elsewhere.
I've asked my company's Help Desk and they don't know. Cisco Support says to talk to my company's Help Desk. I can't find mention of "pause" in the documentation I've been able to find.

  • How to use Graphite Airport dial-up modem in Lion?

I'm helping my father in law troubleshoot an issue with his Graphite Base Station.  He connects to the net via the built-in dialup modem and has recently updated to Lion.  He's used to a pop-out menu that says "dial modem" or something when selecting his base station from the airport menu.  Apparently, there is no such menu in 10.7 Lion.  How can he dial his modem to connect in Lion?  I've walked him through Airport Utility and all the settings say to use the built in modem.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
    -Rhod

I am having the same issue. I have the white base station. Airport does work and works well without incident for my wireless printing. I only get the "disconnect" in the drop down menu. What I did for now is to go into the airport utility, select manual setup, select internet, select modem, and check the box that says automatically dial. While this seems to work for me, I do notice that while it will automatically dial, when you disconnect, it will automatically dial again. So, technically the airport will reconnect always. One way around this I suppose, as I do not care because I use my land line mostly for Internet access, is to go into the utility and uncheck the box when you do not want to connect or unplug the airport. Hope this helps. Otherwise, I am still trying to find a solution or go back to snow leopard.
