Dial pad tone is not reived by other party

when using hte dial  pad I hear the tone but it`s not recongized from the automated call distribution I am calling in. Any ideal what to do?

I get this, too, although I've been blaming it on BT because their automated system *does* occasionally recognise the dial tones if they reboot their exchange software: See. http://community.skype.com/t5/Skype-Number/Pulse-Tone-Dial/m-p/1409986#M8082.
I don't have a solution for this but would be really interested in one.

    All. I have an ICM version 7 system in lab. When I login CTIOS softphone and try to use 'more' option in dial pad to set a callvar1 before dialing out I saw only var8,var9, var10 and transfernote, customerid showing up. I've seen all call vars showing up in the 'more' option in other ICM system so I wonder why in this lab system I'm only seeing three of them. I've checked registry and couldn't find anywhere to configure it. Can someone please help?

    Are the variables missing from the call grid as well? If so, someone may have disabled the display of certain variables on the server. Check the keys:

  • Call using Skype Dial pad is not sending outgoing ...

    We are using Desktop API’s to get the events from Skype to our application. When we are doing an outgoing call using Skype dial pad, we are not getting an outgoing call event from Skype in our application.
    But when we do call from skype contact list we are able to get outgoing call event and process it.
    Is there known issue with dialing with Dial pad does not send outgoing call event?

    Fixed my own problem, IT was my Host file under Windows>System32>drivers>ectThe file was made in such a way that I did not relize I chound't edit it with Notepad without permissions. Also I don't remember adding anything to it, oh well. Long story short, if any of you internet searches want my advice on what to do. Copy the entries in your host file maded by programs "Example: Uncheacky and SpyBot (It will be listed which ones are made by who)." Copy wanted entries to a regular text file on your desktop. Delete your real host file in the director above, deal with readding your wanted entries latter and enjoy talking to your friends again.

  • Treo 680 Dial Pad not working after desktop update

    I was a Zire 72 user.
    I bought a Treo 690. As manual said, I installed Palm Desktop over my old Zire PD.
    Everythings works fine but two problems.
    1- The dial pad does not show the numbers for dial anymore.
    When I press the dial pad, nothing happens. If I use the 5 way navigator, I can switch between all the other 4 tabs, but it acts like the dial pad tab does not exist.
    2- Contacts were not updated ion my phone. I guess it's because I'm synchronizing with outlook 2007. Should I install 2007 conduit updater?
    I'm thinking it would be better to uninstall PDesktop, reset my palm and start installing each application one by one.

    You can uninstall current version of Skype from the control Panel and you can install Special Version.

    and disable automatic updating of Skype.
    In Skype, Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Automatic updates >> Click on Turn off automatic updates >> Save Changes.

  • Paste phone n° out of email in work environment to the phone dialing pad is not possible

    Hello,
    I am trying to paste a phone number out of an email in my work environment to the dialing pad of the phone.
    When I do that, I receive the error message that I am not allowed to paste work content into a personal application, although I am in the work environment and I have also opened the phone in the work environment.
    When the email recognized the phone number "automatically," I am able to call that number.
    I am using a Z30 with the software release 10.2.1.2102.

    Hmmm go back and sign out and turn off iMessage then after that reset all settings, its not going to delete anything off the phone. After reset all settings. Go back turn imessages on and sign back in.

  • Dial pad does not display

    Was trying to enter a conference call tonight and the dial pad was not displayed.   Tried to type the numbers into the screen via my keyboard and it was not recognized.    When will this be fixed.    

    Tamim ~ no you are wrong, it doesn't display.  I used it for my free trial, and as others are saying, as soon as I signed up for phone calling, its now disappeared, and just as others report it only appears while you're IN a call.  real helpful then (NOT)
    also,  in trying to respond here to you, I click reply and skype requires me to re sign in, put in my email and phone - which it ALREADY HAS, and then I had to figure out how to find my way back to this thread.  THAT was real user friendly.  wow.    Do you want to stay in business? So far - really awful now that I've actually PAID you.   Using you for free was great.  Now am a subscriber and ~  woops, no key pad.

    When being connected to a bank (fixed line) support number through Skype I have to choose an option in their systems menu through the dial pad to be connected to the right department. However their system is not recognizing numbers picked from the dial pad and asks again after which the call is disconnected.
    Please advise?

  • Dial pad not loading on Transfer/Warm Transfer

    Hi Friends,
    weird issues coming in IC where we cannot replicate .
    Issue: When Agent is in on call and clicks Transfer/Warm Transfer then dial pad should to transfer but for very few agents not able to see dial pad or for some taking long time to load.
    can anybody faced the issues like this and it would be great if you can share with solution with us.

    THE use of the apple support is a mess also.
    I want to be able to use my MAC fully and easily like I used to with Snow Leopard.

    The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
    You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

    I've been using Xperia devices for quite a long time and I just got myself the new Z1. I've updated it to Jelly Bean 4.3 OTA using Update Centre on the phone. According to the release there is an improved Dial pad auto-complete feature but I can't seem to see it work like it used to on my previous Xperia devices. The numbers I type in only shows up names of people whose phone number have the typed in numbers. But with my previous Xperia devices I could type in '323' and get 'Dad' as suggestion. Has this feature been removed from the new update?
    Hope you guys can help me find a solution to that without having to install third-party apps.

    I would love to have a solution to that too, seeing the 4.3 update for my Xperia V has the same crippling issue. It's no longer possible to type in "letters" into the dialer and find corresponding names, and as an inferior option there is no dial auto-complete option anywhere either.

    Hi, the problem that I am having is blocking the possibility to make calls where there are extensions to be selected. The dial pad used to work until short time ago, now it stopped. I have the latest Skype version: 6.21.0 I cannot call my support because I have to select the extension, I cannot call my bank because of the extensions and so on! Please somebody help!!!!!

    This also happend to me. Skype is now totally useless if this cannot be fixed.

    I read on another discussion that sucking air out of the headphone slot works, I tried it and guess what, it worked.......weired....apparently something to do with moisture accumulation....!!!!!!

    sometimes when I try to make a call to someone, I can't hear the connecting tone im my phone, but the other party's phone is ringing.  I have to end the call again and make another attempt.  The connecting tone could only be heard after I made a redial.  I have checked with many friends on different telcos, and they told me they also face this kind of problems.  Can this problem be rectified?

    I went back to the service provider twice and they reactivated my phone the first time and the second time the tech rebooted the phone and told me how to tell if it was on my end or the other person's end.  Of course it didn't happen at the store, but right after I left I called a family member (on my plan) and the phone did this problem. It can be frustrating.  The cell towers are strong in my area, so it can't be that.  My next stop is to an Apple store but I am waiting until after Christmas.  I can't deal with the shopping crowds!!!
