Now, I want to add another person to the current conversation making a three way call. Therefore I click on the + (add) button but it looks like I can only add skype users and not mobile/home numbers. However, I want to add another mobile number to the current conversation not a skype user. Is there a trick to do this? YOu will need some phone dialing software which you would interface to Forms vis ORA_FFI or using the Java Importer. The ability to dial a phone is not native to Forms.

I cannot dial to mobiles after activating Office H...

Hi there,
recently I bought 1 year of Office 365 Home Premium where I have 60 free minutes on skype. I added my skype name in my office account. Skype.com shows that I have 60 more minutes to talk this month, but when I try to dial it says that I do not have enough credits and I cannot use it to talk.
What should I do ?

Be aware that calls to mobiles are only available to these countries.

Cant Dial a mobile number in Acapulco, MX

Hello,
I use skype to go all the time without a hitch to numbers that are in my subscription. I have the unlimited Mexico plan.
I recently added a mobile number it says its .04 a minute I have plenty of skype credit to cover the call. I tried and it keeps saying It cannot connect the call. I verified the number is correct. I also made sure I was able to call the number with my subscription. What do I do?

Urgent, NZ now has 11 digit mobile numbers need to change dial plan

One of our customers is trying to dial a mobile number that is 11 digits long, must be new numbers being released. Problem is that when we try to dial the number it doesnt send the last digit, so it only sends 10, can we please change this. Im using 2.1.1(7) and on the NZ region.

Hi David,
Hopefully within a couple of weeks -- stay tuned. I think it is an easy fix and there are a couple of other locale bugs we are trying to address in the near future. Yes, the workaround would work if it was a FXO line. Once you press the Dial sofkey the digits are outpulsed on the FXO then you can continue dialing the rest of the address.

I cannot see all mobile phone numbers in Messages after upgrade to iOS 6

I have two mobile number entries for most of my contacts, for example:
+853 1234 5678
0060 853 1234 5678
The first entry is for dialing the mobile number when I am overseas, and need to use the international prefix "+". I also use this for sending SMS messages or iMessage.
The second entry is pre-entered to use 0060 as the international prefix when dialling long distance from my home country; this enables me to enjoy lower long-distance rates.
I have since upgraded to iOS 6, and now have a major problem. When I go into Messages and start a new message, I cannot select the number "+853 1234 5678" to send my message. It only shows "0060 853 1234 5678", and of course, this cannot be used to send messages. This seems to me that iOS 6 is not distinguishing the above two entries as two unique numbers. In other words, the "prefix" does not count. However, if I change the "0060 853 1234 5678" to "0060 853 1234 6787", then I can see both numbers in Messages (since then, both numbers are unique).
I have since found out through trial and error that if I list the numbers in my contacts page in the reverse order, that is:
0060 853 1234 5678 and then
+853 1234 5678
then, I can see +853 1234 5678 but not the first entry. It seems that the first entry in the contact list is overriden by subsequent entries of the same mobile number.
This was not a probem in iOS 5. Any fix for this matter in iOS 6?

FaceTime only works dialing via e-mail

Hey,
I'm wondering why my iPhone 4 can only facetime via e-mail and not using its mobile phone. I don't even have that option enabled on my iPhone since when I go to facetime's options, it only shows that I can be called via e-mail. At first I thought it might be my version (5.0.1) so I just made a clean install (restoring without loading any backup and just with the default settings) but even doing that, I wasn't able to use FaceTime dialing via mobile phone.
Does anybody know what's going on? I called Apple Care but all they could do was to tell me to restore my iPhone.

Yes, my number is shown there.
I brought it to the Genius Bar but they couldn't find a solution. They will just contact "someone" on higher position. They told me that it might be a problem between the 2 iPhones I had (they replaced my first iPhone for another one due to signal issues).
Anyway, I just hope Apple can figure out what happened and get fix it as soon as possible.

Voice Dialing Software

Is there a version available that allows one to speak to the software and be understood in English and not a southern US drawl?
If I ask the software to dial the mobile number it does not understand 'mo-bile' to be understand you have to pronounce it like the oil company as 'mo-bil' and so on.
This dialect makes the software almost unusable if one is pronouncing English as it is used in England or most parts of Canada. Oh, and forget trying to make it understand the name Verreault or similar French Canadian names.

are you referring to the Voice dial Command that is shipped with your device?
You can try VLingo ; it's not available for the Storm yet, but I installed the Bold version. Does not work very well with a french accent, but maybe better with yours. It's free so you can give it a try.

Speed dials

Hi all experts.
I have 2 questions kindly take time to answer them
1) All of you know, how we configure speed dials in mobile phones. We configure them on normal keypad, press the key 2 (for example) for few seconds, and the speed dial number gets dialed. Can we do the same in CUCM7.x or 8.x ?
2) With reference to the above question, what approach should i take to find the answer on my own ?, i downloaded cucm 7.0 administration guide and feature guide, but it hasnt shown how to configure speed dials :-(, how do you guys search for a specific feature ?

I am going to assume by "mobile phones" you mean the 7921G or 7925G. Speed dials are a feature of that model and a referenced in the phone's documentation, not UCM. Cisco UCM has no feature called speed dials which is why you cannot find documentation on it. The closest that UCM comes is the speed dial line button type. The UCM-level features that are equivalent are :
Abbreviated dialing. You press a one- or two-digit index number representing the number you want to dial and then the AbbrDial soft key. This is a per-device setting (i.e. not global). These are configured by the user on the device using /ccmuser or the adminstrator by assigning a Speed Dial line button type to a device. If assigned to a free button it will act as a one-button speed dial. If you associate it beyond the available buttons, the index number shown to the left becomes its Abbreviated Dialing index.
Fast dials. These are Personal Address Book entries that you have configured as a fast dial through /ccmuser. They are accessed and dialed through the Personal Address Book service. These are per-user settings.
Translation patterns. Many other PBX systems have an explicit concept called Speed Dials that are globally available to all users. UCM doesn't bother with that feature because Translation Patterns can do that instead. Cisco just doesn't point this out very well. You can create a translation pattern that translates FROM anything TO anything. For example: *411 translates to +16085532447.

Cisco Phones hears ringback even after the mobile person disconnect

Hi am using CUCM 10 and h323 gateway 3 PRI .
I found that when i dial to mobile phone and just disconnect the call from the mobile , still the cisco phone rings .
I informed that service provider is not sending the RX disconnect (disconnect signal ) but they said that they are already sending it .

Hi, underCliff. Make sure to use a different SSID on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Also, I suggest try changing the wireless channel of your Router. Call Barring - Mobiles

I have the Unlimited Anytime plan but wanted to bar calls to mobiles, but this isn't available as a stand alone option. So my National calls that are inclusive of my plan are now also barred, why????? Could the barring not be split down to national, international, mobiles and an all 3 option??? (International is available as a stand alone already!!)
It's a real pain in the bottom because I now can't call family around the country!

If you're not paying for it then you don't have the type you can bar mobile calls.
BT have a thing call Admin Controlled Barring, it is free but only BT can turn it on and off. With this you can have;
1. International Calls Barred
2. Premium Rate Service Calls Barred
3. International & Premium Rate Service Calls Barred
I think there is an all calls barred option but can't remember.
To stop people calling mobiles you would have to rent Call Barring, when I worked for BT it was £2.50 a month, may have gone up since then. Thing with this barring is you can switch it on or off when you want and choose what you want to bar. You would be given a four digit pin number with it in order to take it off when, if you wanted to dial a mobile or international number.

+1 Added to Phone Number

Upon upgrading to iOS 6.1, did Apple add +1 to my existing phone number? Dialing from mobile does not require 1 as a prefix. Wiil I have to send notice that a 1 has been added to my number to recieve texts?

No, all is well. The "+1" is the international dialing code for the United States. It routinely precedes the phone number for messaging.

How to access my txt and phone voice messages online

Hi, I am out of country but didn't purcahse Global services. My phone is on airplane mode. I have samsung note 2. I have wifi access. Is there anyway for me to read my voice mail and text messages online?

CONTACT TRANSFER ERROR IN NOKIA 515

Hi , i tried transferring contacts from Lumia 1020 to nokia 515 by using transfer app which comes in nokia 515 .. After importing all the contacts it started with comparing and after a while i got a error message on nokia 515 CONTACTS IMPORTING FAILED .. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER ..
Last week i got an update for my nokia 515 so wanted to ask u that is this error due to this update .. Also i have updated my Lumia 1020 to windows 8.1 .. Is this error because of Lumia 1020 windows 8.1 update ?
Previously before updating both the devices i tried many times importing contacts from Lumia 1020 to nokia 515 and it happened perfectly ... I did the same way by opening transfer app which comes in nokia 515 ..
I managed somehow by trying various methods like syncing my nokia 515 and managed to get all the contacts but now the problem is if suppose i have saved 3 numbers like mobile , home , office under one contact and when i dial thy contact it doesn't dial the mobile number .. Instead it dials office or home number .. Previously whenever i dialled a particular number it used to dial mobile number only and not the other 2 ...

call summary is nothing to do with your balance this is for your call duration
the balance message is down to your operator and them alone nothing to do with nokia they need to deactivate this

I just paid my unlimited world subscription but can't make any call. I tried to call a mobile in China but it says I need to get a Skype credit. Why? Ipaid for subscription. I paid and payment is successful but can't even use it for calling. I need feedback. URGENT please!

Skype now offers two versions of the Unlimited World subscription. One - the cheaper option - does not include calling to China. Please click on "Subscriptions" near the bottom of this page to see the new details.
You can cancel the subscription you just started, then sign up for the new Unlimited World subscription that includes calling to China. Be prepared for the higher price of the subscription with calling to China.
