Dialing numbers gets stuck on "connecting"

Dialing certain numbers on our Cisco phones gets stuck at "connecting".  Sometimes it drops after a few seconds, and sometimes it gets stuck there until you press the end key.  RTM doesn't even show that the call was placed.
We are running CUCM 9.1 (phone versions 9.3.1SR1.1).  Anyone have an idea on what is going on?
Thanks in advance!

We've tried waiting for 30+ seconds and it stays on "connecting".  We would dial another number with the same (area code) and same first 3 digits and it would dial within a second.

I recently changed  ISP and router...
Do you have an apple router at all??
    If so which one?
when i restart and turn the air port off it doesn't get stuck...
So you are plugged into the main router by ethernet??
    Are you actually running Lion??
If not what are you running? And if it is that all round Stinker Yosemite.. no surprises there.
As far as the computer is concerned clear out all the old wireless names.. shut down the computer.. restart the computer and rediscover the wireless again and put in the password. Does that help??

  • Firefox gets stuck at connecting when i try to open it up

I did a bios update on my laptop as the manufacturer wanted. Now firefox will not open. The web page opens but gets stuck at trying to connect. It just hangs there.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • Horizon View client gets stuck at connecting

    Hi
We have had Horizon 6 in for a while and everything worked great. Recently we have had an issue with Horizon clients getting stuck at the connecting screen (before you enter your credentials). It might take 3-4 attempts to connecting before it will finally work. There doesn't seem to be any performance issues in the sessions them self's. We just upgraded to 6.1 and the problem persists. I have setup access via HTML and this works perfectly and is not affected by any login connection issues. Any advice on this issue?
    Thanks

  • My iphone 5 gets stuck when connected

    Hello,
I have the same problem when connecting my iPhone 5
    IOS 7.1.2
    and my ipod touch.
I never had any issue connecting and manually upload or delete music with iTunes.
Both players not get iTunes stuck once connected to my macbook pro.
I have installed windows parallel, but this problem happens regardless windows is on use.
Any solution to this? The software is updated.
    Thanks

You will need to bring the iPhone and cable to Apple for inspection. Only after they inspect it will anyone be able to determine if this will be covered by warranty.
Generally damage is not covered by the warranty only materials and workmanship.

  • Firefox keeps prompting an update, but can't complete it. It gets stuck on "Connecting to the Server" and runs for hours until I stop it. Help!

I have a Mac OS X ver. 10.5.8 and I've used Firefox on it since I got it 3 years (?) ago. The most recent update for both Firefox and Thunderbird keeps prompting me, but when I say "yes" to update, a bar appears with lines moving through it and it says, "Connecting to the update Server" but it never gets any farther. I've left it for hours at a time and it won't actually update either program.

If you have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

    * Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
    * Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
    * Install the new version that you have downloaded

  • Shared drives now just stuck on "Connecting"... after ML install!

Since upgrade to Mountain Lion, everything went well except now I can not connect to any shared drives on my network.  This includes my time capsule, a shared hard drive, etc.  They just get stuck on "Connecting..." and never give an error...
Anyone else have this issue?  I definitely need the ability to get to these drives again for files and also backup.
Network is fine, all drives are operating fine and connectable by other drives, just not this Mac with ML on it now.
    Thanks!

To clarify, "Connect As" also does nothing...

  • FaceTime call to iPhone # - Yosemite stuck on "Connecting"

    FaceTime call to iPhone #.
When I try to answer on Mac mini w/ 10.10, it gets stuck on “Connecting” and will not connect. I can accept it on my iPhone.

    Howdy Chris,
Thanks for all the help you’ve provided over the years!
If you haven’t already, try running through the general troubleshooting suggestions in the article below. There’s a few tips in the article that may help you resolve the issue receiving FaceTime calls on your Mac mini.
    FaceTime for Mac: Troubleshooting FaceTime
    Troubleshooting FaceTime for Mac
You can make FaceTime calls using the FaceTime app. You can call FaceTime users whose contact information is in Contacts. You can add contacts and edit contact information in either FaceTime or Contacts. To place a video call, you may use a phone number or email address.
If you encounter issues making or receiving FaceTime calls, try the following:
Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences.
If the issue persists, or if you see the message "Waiting for Activation", try toggling FaceTime off and then on.
Verify that the Date, Time, and Time Zone are set correctly:
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences > Date & Time > Date & Time.
    Enable "Set Automatically".
Click the Time Zone tab and confirm the closest city is correct.
Verify that both parties are connected to an active broadband Internet connection.
See Mac OS X: Troubleshooting a cable modem, DSL, or LAN Internet connection.
Consult Using FaceTime behind a firewall for necessary ports to open in firewalls, security software and routers.
If you encounter issues using a Wi-Fi network, use standard Wi-Fi network troubleshooting to resolve interference and other issues.
Verify the phone number or email address being used is the correct one activated for FaceTime.
You can verify that you are using a valid Apple ID at appleid.apple.com. You can also create an Apple ID or reset your password from this website.
Verify that both parties have installed the latest software updates for their Mac and/or device. See:
Mac OS X: Updating your software
iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  • Reload Software 507 - stuck at connecting to boot rom

    1. My Curve 8900 (Orange Unlocked) had an app error 523 and didnt load, so I wiped it with BBSAK.
    2. After that, my phone starts and shows a white screen with an image and below the error message "Reload Software:507" and stays like that.
    3. I have followed every blog and have followed every step, but the OS is not loading on the device and it gets stuck at connecting to boot rom.
    4. When I open the Loader, my PIN number shows without any problem, so I click "next". When I've selected the apps I want to be installed and click "finish", my phone will reboot twice when the PC shows "Connecting to boot ROM" geting a "fatal error message has ocurred [A0x00000001]" on the loader.
I've been stuck at this process for too long and decided to post here for help.
Is there any solution for my device.
    Thanks!

    Hi vatsal
Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums
You can try JI Cmder to wipe again and then try to load the OS ,But remember you had to click the Next  button on the screen as soon it shows USB PIN : UNKNOWN or else you had to try again :
What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe
If that fails then as a last resort you can try this :
KB27956 :  How to recover a BlackBerry smartphone from any state
Please try it and let us know.

  • Time Capsule stuck at Connecting..."

Hey guys, I recently reinstalled OSX from a bootable drive I made. The reinstall went fine, but when I went to the Migration Assistant application to restore my user profile from my Time Capsule, it gets stuck at "connecting..." and nothing happens. Now, I have 700+ GBs of data I am trying to restore, could that be the reason for the delay? What makes me worried is that once I saw that wasn't changing over the course of an hour, I rebooted in Recovery mode and tried to restore from Time Machine. I got upto the part where I have to pick my drive. Once I selected Time Capsule a message appears saying "only complete backups will show here", and nothing shows.
I'm running Mountain Lion and have my Time Machine connected via ethernet.
Any help with this would be greatly great appreaciated.

OK. Pulling the (power) cable from the Time Capsule and plugging it back in, seems to have solved the problem.

  • Dial-up connection routine gets stuck.

When I try to connect to a dial-up server and get a busy signal, the modem disconnects, but the connection routine does not stop. It gets stuck, and the word "disconnecting" just keeps rolling in my menu bar. The only way to reset the modem is to shut the computer down by holding the power button. The normal restart or shut-down methods do not work. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Hi Erik,
This happened to me when using the Apple USB External modem. I'd been advised that sometimes the SystemConfiguration folder's items get corrupted and that this is known to fix the problem.
To fix it, as I'd been advised, I renamed the /Macintosh Hard Disk/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folder to SystemConfiguration.old and then reboot the machine.
Since the SystemConfiguration folder will appear missing to OS X, OS X will recreate that folder. Many system settings will be restored to default... you'll have to set a few things up again, but I haven't had the "Disconnecting..." problem, since. I'd been advised that I could always rename the SystemConfiguration.old older to it's original name if things were to go wrong.
Hope this helps... let me know

  • My apple TV 3 is stuck in recovery. When connected to iTunes through microUSB, it gets stuck in "Preparing Apple TV for restore", then after what seems forever, it gives me an error 2003. What can be done?

I tried to update my Apple TV today through iTunes using a microUSB. It gave me an error, I tried again and now it is stuck in recovery mode. If I plug it into the TV, it just shows that I have to connect it to iTunes (just the picture). I unplug everything, plug the microUSB and USB, plug the power, open iTunes, it shows, asks me to restore, I click Restore. It starts extracting the file, finishes, then gets stuck in "Preparing Apple TV for restore..." for what seems forever, when it finally times out, I get an error number 2003. I have tried different USB ports, no other USB device is connecte, I have tried restarting the PC (running windows 7, up to date, iTunes up to date as well), I have tried redownloading the IPSW and even using the shift+restore and manually selecting the .IPSW file, and to be honest, I give up! If anyone can help, I'd truly appreciate it. Thanks!
PS: I also tried pressing menu+down for 6 seconds to restart, I tried pressing menu+play to restart, I tried pressing menu+down 6 secs and then menu+play 6 seconds for the so called DFU mode, nothing works, the Apple TV just restarts back to the "connect to itunes picture" along with the fast continuous white light flashing.
