if u want to change default client u can do below steps
1. In the left frame choose Server → Services → Configuration Adapter
2. In the tab Display Configuration (right frame) choose Switch between view and edit mode to activate the edit mode.
3. Choose cluster_data → server → cfg → services → Propertysheet com.sap.security.core.ume.service
4. Choose Show the detail of the selected node
5. The parameter ume.r3.connection.master.client must be set to your SAP Exchange Infrastructure client. Adapt the value if necessary.

    In exchange 2007 which we are migrating from, I could log into my workstation with my domain admin account, create a new outlook profile and open up any users mailbox because I have rights to them.  This is useful when troubleshooting outlook issues
    for users I cannot remote.  
    Now in exchange 2013, I have to find the users mailbox guid, use it for the servename and set the outlook anywhere settings for it to resolve the username. But even after that, when I try to open the outlook profile (under my login) it still is prompting
    for username/password.   Is it possible in Exchange 2013 to open another users outlook profile like I could in Exchange 2007?

    According to your description, there is credential issue when you open Outlook with your own account configured. If I misunderstand your meaning, please feel free to let me know.
    If yes, I’d like to explain, different from Exchange 2007, all Outlook clients in Exchange 2013 use Outlook Anywhere. And the credential may be caused by the improper Authentication method.
    Thus, let’s check if all users come across the same issue.
    If yes, we can firstly check the authentication by running the following command:
    Get-outlookanywhere |fl

  • PI 7.11 sp6 system copy Exchange Profile error code: 399

    Experts,
    We have a PI 7.1 (EHP1, sp6) PI system based on AIX 6.1 OS and Oracle 11g.
    I recently did the standard PI system copy from a prod source (PIP) to a training target (PIT).
    I used the most recenty PI system copy guide that is specific for PI 7.1 EHP1
    I did not run into any major problems doing the steps of the copy itself.
    I did the usual "post" steps, documented in the guide that really are done on any NW system.
    Then I got into the specific "PI" post steps and that's where I now have a problem.
    I followed all the steps, fixing my RFCs, JCos, Destinations, cleaning up SLD, SLDAPICUST, creating new business systems...etc.
    My big problem is with the exchange profile. Yes, it's easy to change all the SIDs and hostnames using the search tool for all the parameters in the exchange profile, but the one I COULD NOT CHANGE was the "ABAP Connection". In there right after the copy was the hostname of the prod system, the client, and the user PILDUSER. I attempted to put the hostname of my target (PIT) system, but I would get the error:
    com.sap.rprof.dbprofiles.DBException: RFC call returned an error code: 399 
    I'm certain the user is NOT locked and the password is correct for PILDUSER. It'll give me a different error if I put the wrong password in, so I know it's hitting my system.
    Worse yet, If I left the hostname in there that was set to "prod", then when I changed all the other values in the "parameters" section of the XI profile, then it actually changed my PROD system!!
    If I keep the ABAP connection to PIT, then the entire exchange profile disappears for PIT.
    I see these errors in the default trace and application log:

    Access to the XI Profile is currently disrupted.
    I can't be the first person to run into this.
    SO strange that I can actually plug in either my dev/QA or PROD hostname in the "ABAP connection" box and it WILL ACCEPT IT...but then, it registered my training system as a "non central adapter engine".  I don't want that.
    Any ideas?
    Another issue is that the SLD PI information from the PIT system is missing the "Integration Directory".  It has the other 5 entries...Adapter Engine, Domain, Integration Repository, Integration Server,  RWB.

    I have installed Solution Manager 4.0 (OS -Linux ,Database - DB2) .
    Now i need to connect solution manager to the R/3 4.6C
    Satellite Systems (DEV, QAS ,PRD) for Solution Monitoring
    and Service level Reporting .
    I have read the configuration guide , but unable to get clear idea .
    1) what users (alos type of user -Dialog , Service, Communication etc) do i need create in DEV , and Test in QAS  for solution Monitoring  .
    2) what exact roles /profiles need to be assigned to these users in satellite systems .
    3) what users/roles /profiles needs to be done in SOLMAN system
    i have applied all the required plug ins and support packs
    in satellite systems and solman 40 ..
    Please advice  . Your response will be a great help for me .

  • Error in executing few transaction in dialog user -referance user assigned

    hi,
    I created a referance user (testuser) and found it working for all t.code(eg.MM03) when it was working as dialog user.
    Now, i have created another user (testuser01) with testuser as referance user under Roles for functional team to work on it.note that , i had changed testuser status from Dialog user to Referance user.
    In testuser01,i tried to run the T.code(MM03) which was working in the testuser and end up with error: "error in Lime query-authoization object cannot be checked".i checked su53 and su24 for object authorization check..all are OK.
    where did i go wrong??? i have not assigned any roles other then referance user in testuser01 so the columns in roles and profiles are empty.
    few of the t.codes are not working in testuser01 at present.but when i give SAP_ALL profile to testuser01,everything is working fine as it was in testuser before it was changed to referance user.
    we want to remove SAP_ALL profile and get testuser01 working for our functional team. need guidance.

    that can be easyly done... but when we need to add any new Roles for 50 Users in the client we require a single Referance to do the changes when required.
    can you share your knowledge more on using a Referance user.

  • Importing the exchange profile in PI 7.1

    system is PI 7.1
    1. System copy is done and then in post intallation process.
    2. On PI System AII_PROFILES table is empty and i tried to import the the exchange profile from the link
        http://<host:port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/com.sap.xi.exprofui/XIProfileApp
       it showing the profile is imported successfully but it is not getting updated in database as well as the tree for exchange profile is not showing in the parameter tree.
    3. after system copy there was no aii.properties file in server0 directory. i created the file manually but it is not picking the value from the aii.properties file

    Have you followed the same procedure to import as below?
           1.      On your Integration Server host, open the following URL:
    http://<AS_Java_host>:AS_Java_port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/com.sap.xi.exprofui/XIProfileApp
    The following naming convention applies for <AS_Java_Port>:
    5<AS_Java_instance_number>00
    50000, for example, if your AS Java instance is 00
           2.      Enter the logon information:
    User Name: PISUPER
    Password: <pisuper_password>
    The Exchange Profile page appears.
           3.      Choose Connection.
    The ABAP Connection page appears.
           4.      Enter the required information for the PI host.
    Use the logon information of user PILDUSER.
           5.      Choose Set.
    The Exchange Profile page appears.
           6.      Choose Import.
    The Import profile from database page appears.
           7.      Choose Browse and select the following file:
    /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/xi/exchange_profile.xml
    If you cannot run a Web browser on your PI host, you need to copy the file exchange_profile.xml from the PI host to a host where a Web browser runs.
           8.      Choose Import Data.
    The profile is imported.

    I am currently facing problem in importing SAP Exchange profiles manually.
    When i enter into http://<J2EE_host>:<J2EE_port>/exchangeProfile with username as PISUPER, the page is getting loaded but
    <b>1.</b>it shows a error message stating, Name or password is incorrect
    <b>2</b>. When i ignore that error and proceed with the connections tab to edit the server settings, i cannot set the password for PILDUSER. It again says, Name or Password is incorrect..
    What could be the reason for these errors. Please help me... This is very urgent....

    we have upgrade a XI 20 to XI 70 and all seems ok but when we test the system to send an idoc to the XI 70 from our R3 we got this error in
    Transaction Canceled IDOC_ADAPTER 106 ( Error while reading exchange profile for system XSD )"
    in SM21 in Xi 70 and in SM58 in R3.
    We have revised our configuration and all seems ok.
    It seems like IS cann't read the exchange profile but our test all ok.
    How can we check this?

    During the BI and portal connectivity, we successfully executed the template installer, however, we have not yet imported the abap and related sp from SAP note.
    After successful execution of template installer or CTC, we ran the supportdesk tool resolved errors and are left behind with two errors as below.
    ERROR 1. RED  BI Mastersystem
    Message:
    Error while connecting to BI mastersystem via RFC: Checks related to ABAP information cannot be executed because an outdated version of function module RSPOR_SETUP_CHECK is implemented. Please implement the recent version of note 937697.
    Solution:
    Check connection properties in Portal Systemlandscape for the property category 'Connector' (Systemlandscape/SAP_BW)
    Issue: Now looking at connector properties that are set by CTC are complete and set. Connection Test for both Connector and SAP Web AS Connection are successful, only ITS is neither setup by template nor by us. Please suggest how to resolve this.
    ERROR 2.  RED  Error in Check Class: com.sap.ip.bi.supportdesk.checks.impl.MultipleUserMappingCheck
    (Error during retrieval of inverse user mapping for ABAP user 'null': No backend user ID provided for inverse user mapping. com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException:...)
    Looking at log file server<#>/log/defaultTrace.trc it points the following error:

    Issue: Checking we find that ICM is running with correct dns and port 8000 (http), only smtp is holding port 0. Where do we maintain http port for sld? Kindly suggest.
    Finally the support desk tool is leaving the following checks with status UNDEFINED, would this impact the connectivity?

    2.   UNDEFINED  Export check (PDF lib, ADS, ...)
    3.   UNDEFINED  Synchronized Clocks on WebAS Java and ABAP

    If Support desk tool is showing some of the components undefined, than there may be posisbility that your ABAP BI and BI JAVA patch may not in sync.
    ABAP BI and BI JAVA works only with specific patch set combinations. I will suggest that please refer to below note and correct the patch level, if required. Once the patch level is corrected, please run the support desk tool again, you will see new picture in support desk tool.

    you can reset the password at R/3 part for Exchange profile error. it must be locked, just check on r/3 part.
    1> login by SAP gui
    2> goto SU01 tcode.
    3> put the user name as used in exchange profile.
    4> check if its locked, if locked unlock it and try once again at exchange profile.
    5> if not locked, try resetting the password and then login at R/3 once to reset the new password.
    6> put the same password and check connection in exchange profile.
    7> and then change the other settings of exchange profile as required.

  • Error while openning Exchange Profile

    I am facing problem while opening Exchange Profile

    and it says "Name or Password is incorrect (Repeat logon)" and after several attempt "Password logon no longer possible -too many failed attempt"
    It is not taking any Username and Password, with any username i am not able to logon.

    Check for locked user even-
    SUIM --> user --> with unsuccesful logons
    According to SAP,
    "Each J2EE-based component of an XI landscape has an exchange profile access client installed, where JCo RFC connection data for the central exchange profile is maintained. The connection data for the exchange profile is stored in the J2EE secure store of the component. The user specified in the connection data should have the ABAP user role SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC on the Integration Server."
    So check the ABAP user role and see if it is SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC.

  • Exchange profile error: dbconnect.prop: failed to load properties file .\dbconnect.properties

    We are using PO 7.4 with SP5, and we have an issue while accessing URL Exchange profile page (http://<host:port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/com.sap.xi.exprofui/XIProfileApp) it throw's the below error.
    dbconnect.prop: failed to load properties file .\dbconnect.properties

    Though below note is not applicable to you, i would suggest you to check if the destination is created by the configuration wizard? If not you can create one and see if it helps.
    Create Java RFC destination XI_EXCHANGE_PROFILE manually: Navigate to http://[host]:[port]/nwa --> Configuration --> Infrastructure --> Destinations. Create the RFC Destination with PILDUSER as logon user.

    You need to add the below Object Types in your user status profile.
    Go into your user status profile and click on the Object Types as highlighted below and then enable the list of object types. Then you will be able to see the status profile in the IBase header.
    Enable these object types for IBase.

    I have checked with that setting,but still it is showing the below error.is there any another way?

  • NOOK Simple Touch says "Error Dialog: user not activated" whenever I try to open e-books?

    I have had my Nook Simple Touch for about a year now, and I have been using Adobe Digital Editions without a problem. Now, all of the sudden, Barnes and Noble updated my software and I can't read any of my ADE books!! It just says "Error Dialog: User not activated" every time I click on them. I have looked at many other websites and I have tried plugging my nook in to my computer and reauthorizing it, reauthorizing my computer, deleting the digital editions file and .adobe-digital-editions file, redownloading my books, turning my nook off and on, crying, and screaming. The weird thing is, in all the instructions, it says a pop-up box will come up when I delete the files, but it never does. Is that normal? I always have to do it manually by clicking on the gear. I even made sure I "unhid" all the hidden files. I HAVE DONE EACH OF THESE AT LEAST 5 TIMES AND THEY NEVER WORK!!! HELP ME, PLEASE.
    Also, a lot of the websites say to make sure your Barnes and Noble ADE I.D. is the same as the one on your ADE computer I.D.. Is the B&N ADE I.D. different from just the Barnes and Noble ID? Becasue I have been using my sisters email for my computer ADE and my email for the B&N I.D.. Are they supposed to be the same? If so, how come I was able to use it without a problem before?? I tried reauthorizing ADE with my email, because I also have an ADE account with my email, but then it wouldn't let me redownload my books onto the new account. Does this mean I have to change the ADE computer I.D. and wait until my books are available again to read them? Is that the way to fix it? UGH!

    Just to clarify, there are two levels of Authorization -- one for the ADE software and one for the nook. You have to use your Adobe account to authorize both (and they have to be authorized with the same user name). It sounded like your original problem (Kcoline) was with the Nook authorization, and it was the same problem the rest of us were having.
    To get your files back, I suggest carefully reading over the "Activation and Authorization" section of the ADE help. It appears that ADE will automatically find your files but note the "Note" in quoted text below...

    Note: Items that you previously borrowed from a public library with Adobe Acrobat® or Reader® software are not migrated to Adobe Digital Editions. You need to return the library item and then borrow the item again with Digital Editions."
    If it's not finding your files, it may be because they're located in a folder different from the one that ADE is trying to use to find them.
    You may also want to check the "Transferring items between computers" section, as this describes where the files should be located, and how to reimport them into your library.
