Diamond Plus Users - Who doesn't have low microphone volume?

I apologize if I might be beating this topic to death. But, I don't know if I should RMA my board or not and would like some feedback from other users. I've been told the problem of low microphone volume is a software issue... but I'm quite certain I've installed my drivers correctly. If this is a problem with the board in need of a new driver fix, I can accept that. However, if the problem of the low microphone is isolated to a number of defective boards, that is a different story.
That being said, if any users of the MSI K8N Diamond Plus motherboard have NORMAL microphone volume (using the onboard SoundBlaster chip), please respond here with the operating system used, the Soundblaster driver version (and where it was downloaded), and microphone model & type. Thanks

Obtain a primary token for a user who does not have permission to logon locally

I would like to know whether it's possible to obtain a primary token for a user who doesn't have permission to log on locally. If yes, what the recommended way is for doing that.
I called LogonUserW with logon32_logon_network logontype for user which is not allowed to logon locally. It returned impersonation token. I called DuplicateTokenEx to create primary token but it still returned impersonation token.

A Network Logon is always going to return an impersonation token. This is by design.
A Batch or Service logon would return a Primary Token. The user would need the corresponding right to return these 2 types of token. Typically, all users are allowed to generate a Network Token (Impersonation Token) but as you have discovered
it has limited usage which is by design.

Make sure your cellular service includes SMS messaging. Also make sure the person you are trying to text has an account with SMS messaging. As long as both have this service just use the Messages app and send the message to the individuals phone number.

Hi,
use the transaction "suim" or the abap report "RSUSR002"
-> user information system
open tree -> user -> users by compley.... -> exec. users by complex...
next screen -> Group for authorization -> select multiple selection (right symb.) -> in the tab 'single vals' -> click on the left symb. -> select '='
leave the fields blank. -> 'F8' or ok. -> then in the main screen 'F8' or run.
so you will get all users without a group asignment

I am trying to get a list of user who do not have a particular resource provisioned. I cannot seem to find a table that links the resource object information and User information. I need to generate a CSV file. Has anyone done this before or have any ideas. If so any information would be very helpful.

Ftp 7.5 , hide directories for users who don't have access?

hi, installed ftp 7.5 and have it working using AD credentials but users who don't have access to directories, see everything.
I'd like it so that they only see the directories they can access, like ABE.

How can I import comments from shared reviewer who doesn't have acrobat pro?

How can I import comments from shared reviewer who doesn't have acrobat pro? I sent out a shared review, but not all of the reviewers have acrobat pro, they do have acrobat reader 9 and have made comments on the document, but they do not appear when I open the shared review from the workspace. Can I import his comments so that they are apart of the shared review?

I figured it out, so I will share just in case anyone else has this issue...
The reviewer emailed me his comments on the document. I opened it and made a comment. When I went to publish my comment a dialogue box opended asking if I wanted to publish his comments to the shared review for him. Says yes and the reviewers comments are now published and a part of the shared review.

Users who don't have the "update user" capability can update users!

Version: Sun IdM 7.0 on Glassfish on Sparc
We have hit a problem/bug whereby a help desk user (which doesn't have the "update user" capability in either their user account or the help desk role) was able to select the campus from the "List Users" tab, and then click "Update Users" from the dropdown, and kickoff a FULL push of data from our HR system to AD. We haven't fully migrated to IdM to provision the accounts (we have another piece of software that does this for now), so needless to say this was not expecting or desired. Some of the users (student workers, mostly) had their email addresses changed from their exchange email to their student email, and other users had their display names changed (which seems like a small thing, but there are a lot of vocal users out there...). We are working on restoring the users that changed.
Does anyone know of a quick and dirty way to disable the "list users" tab until we can figure out how to prevent this from happening again?

Find all users who does not have access to a shared mailbox.

Hi all,
We are in the proces of setting up a hybrid enviroment with our E2010 towards Office365. As part of that, we want to move several batches of users. The first bunch if users we move should not use any shared mailboxes etc. but how do I find
those? I can see there are powershell scripts that find users who has a shared mailbox and then list the permission - but that is kind of the opposite than what I want :)
Browsing manually through users is not practical either as we have 10000+ mailboxes at the moment.

It is not possible to accomplish this by using powershell. Easier one is to get the list of people who has access on something with below and do easier data manipulation in Excel :
