Dictation capitalizes every word after a comma, no matter what. For instance: "I am a man, But not an old man." Any setting to change that could stop this?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.

Enhanced dictation is not as accurate as dictation. The MOST annoying issue for me, is that it often capitalizes the word after a comma! I do not know how this is possible since this is a simple grammatical rule. Sentences do not end with commas.
There are other problems, but if this could be fixed would make the system far more useable.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

I am trying to install after effects, but no matter what version I try to download, there is always a different error not allowing me to open or use the program after I have already installed it.

I have recently repurposed an iMac from late 2009 as an editing machine, and have been trying to install preferably After Effects CS6. When I install and try to open it for the first time, the program quits unexpectedly and continues to do the same every time I try to reopen the program. After no luck experimenting trying to fix the problem, I attempted to download the trial of After Effects CC 2014 to see if the problem was with the computer or with the application. After installing CC, there was another error when I attempted to open it. My final attempt was taking After Effects CS5 from an old hard-drive and attempting to open it on the iMac. When I open CS5 I am greeted with another error message telling me to reinstall After Effects. After reinstalling I get the same message.
I am confused to whether my computer can handle After Effects, or there is another error occurring.
Any help would be appreciated.

IMac Shuts Down after 5 Minutes, No Matter What

Hi Guys,
I have a serious problem. Last night, after about a week of not using my computer, I turned it on, jumped in the shower, came out, and it was off (not sleeping, just completely off). So turned it on again, it loaded up, I opened up Safari, then boom, it shuts off again. I thought it might have something to do with temperature, but I have had temperature issues and I got a new thermal sensor a few months ago (and plus, when it overheated, it went to sleep, not shut down). I tried 2 more times, same results, after about 5 minutes, it would just shut down. I haven't backed anything up on my computer, I was wondering if someone knew what my problem was or any solutions to at least save my data (I was planning on buying a Time Capsule, but now I might have to put that $ toward a new computer).
I have a Rev B iMac G5, purchased around May of 2005. I am on Tiger. Thank you in advance.

Well, now you know you have a USB/peripheral conflict. You can plug each one back in one at a time until the problem re-occurs. This way you will know which one of your devices is the culprit.
Make sure all your peripherals/devices are up to date in their versions, drivers, etc.

I have been trying to tidy up a massive database where visitors have been sloppy when entering text. The main thing I want to do is to Capitalize The First Letter In Every Word In Mysql.
I have found the code below in PHP but it keeps finding an error on the WHILE line:

DME file, is generated with # after every word.

When I'm generating DME file, I see the file is generated with # after every word.
Infact it should generate without #.
Do I need to maintain any settings?

Yes. You can say the word "cap" to capitalize the next word you say. Or say "caps on" to get the next letter to be a capital.

Why does every word, in Scrabble chat, capitalize?

Since I downloaded 6 this morning every word, except the very first word typed, is capitalized when I use Scrabble chat. Is anyone else having this problem? How do I reconfigure?

I have the same problem, the only way I have found to avoid the automatic capitalization is to use a external keyboard for chat. It sure is frustrating.

I need to grep for word INITIAL and replace the first word after initial ( which is number ) with 50K. how can i do this?

In Firefox on every site every word is now displayed as 'undefined', (or 'undefinedundefined').

This happened this morning. Every word on every site is now displayed as 'undefined' or multiple instances of 'undefined' one after another. IE and Chrome are unaffected. I have updated Java & Flash, reinstalled FF 13.0.1, uninstalled FF and reinstalled, run a virus check, restarted computer several times, but nothing changes. I am running a Dell Studio 1745.

Capitalization of Assets after MIRO ( Invoice Reciept)

Hi Gurus
Our system allows for capitalization of Assets after MIGO ( Goods Receicpt) Client wants to capitalize assets only after MIRO ( Invoice Receipt). System should not be able to do capitalization after MIGO.
Do we need to make any changes to configurations??

When u r procuring assets thru PO, at the time of MIGO ur asset account will get hit & will be capitalised. Also, at the time of invoicing ur GR/IR account will get a corresponding effect.
Now if your client want NOT to capitalise asset during MIGO then try with the below option:
Any asset that has to be procured will not be directly procured as asset. Every new asset to be purchased from outside will have its AUC account created. Now amount lying in AUC acount is not termed as capitalised. Now say u r procuring 10 chairs. Create a AUC for these 10 chairs. Make PO with this AUC. So whenever u will do MIGO ur asset will not get any effect but the amount will get posted in AUC. So this will solve ur purpose of not capitalising at time of GR. Later after invoicing, user can capitalise complete AUC or partial AUC using AIAB & AIBU.

How to isolate or listed songs without capitals on every words on windows ?

I'm using Itunes on my PC with windows.
There is in my music collection some songs without the standard naming rule with a capital letter on every word.
Example:
Who wants to live forever - Queen
who wants to live forever - Queen
Is there a way to automaticly correct or a way (script .js ?) to isolate or listed in a playlist or a notepad every songs with this bad spelling ?
I don't mind to correct every songs one by one by myself if i'm sure that I have a complete list.
I think I heard a system to solve my issue but only working on Mac, so again i'm on windows.

Hi,
I've uploaded the finished TitleCase script. You can select a bunch of tracks, or an entire playlist, and run the script. If you answer no at the first prompt you get a chance to review each proposed change and decide whether or not to allow it. Alternatively if you let it run in automatic mode you can sort the display on Date Modified immediately afterwards to review the results.
It shouldn't be too hard to update the TCase function in the script with special cases from your library. For example the Upper list includes things like DJ, EP, LP & MC, The Mixed list contains words that don't fit the standard Title Case form such as iTunes & McCloud. There is a separate list of Roman numerals that are currently converted to upper case, but a simple tweak can force them to lower case for those that prefer it. There is an Ignore list for words such as LA or US whose "correct" casing will depend on context so are best left as found. The Cons list contains contractions that can appear after an apostophe so these aren't converted to an initial cap in error. There are also some comments that hint at places where you could add any other personal rules.
I ran the script on around 10,000 tracks from my library and skipped about 20 tracks that have idiosyncratic spellings that it didn't seem worth adding exceptions for, such as Lily Allen's LDN. The script also corrected around 150 casing and trailing space errors that I was previously unaware of.

dd|dddI do not see where the issue is. The data can be successfully retrieved, it is present in the database.
Could you try putting in the sqlite3_close() call and see if you still get the error?
Did you remove the __db.* files from the SourceDB_912_1.db-journal directory?
Did you use PRAGMA synchronous, and if so, what is the value you set?
If this is still an issue for you, please describe in more detail the exact steps needed to get this reproduced and provide a simple stand-alone test case program that reproduces it.
