System Monitoring setup: missing database
I would like to set up System monitoring functionality for satellite system in SOLMAN.
The following problems occurred:
1) Missing database component of the system in System Monitoring set up
Usually the system has the following components in System Monitoring set up:
a) SAP Application Server
b) Server <servername>
c) Database <SID>-Database
For my satellite system the Database component c) is missed.
How can this component be activated? The satellite system has MaXDB
2) Missing system entries in tcode RZ20
I miss the entries of the system e.g. Shortdumps Frequency, AbapErrorInUpdate, Shortdumps in tcode RZ20.
How will the system values added into the RZ20?
Thank you very much!

Bento, the missing Database in iWork 08?
Check this out:
http://www.bentotrial.com/preview/
It's sort of like the missing database in iWork 08.
The strange thing is that it's from FIleMaker, which Apple owns, so it's Apple software. I guess they wanted to make sure people knew FileMaker existed, so they are releasing it under that company.Hello
It seems that most of the posters don't wait the same thing than me under the name database.
Bento looks well but it's capacities are far less than the AW6's database.
Nothing looks like what we call a report in AW.
Just a subtotal tool with 5 or 6 functions and this tool is available only in List mode.
To be more precise, have you try to find where your datas are stored?
They are in a single package.
Your DVD descriptions are mixed with your cookbook recipes.
It's not a database, it's just a pretty shoebox.
I will not use it to keep track of my pottery archives which are, at this time stored in what I call an "enhanced AW6's database".
Funny complementary detail: thanks to a huge bug in Numbers, a CSV generated by Numbers on a machine whose system works with a decimal comma can't be imported by Bento.

To run this command, you need to import AD model first. You can run this command on server which is DC server.
1. Open Windows Powershell.
2. Run the Import-Module activedirectory cmdlet.
3. Now you can run the get-aduser -filter * -properties * | fl cn, homeMDB command.

I have had the bad user name or password other times and resolved it. I looked up Missing database property in Oracle's knowledgebase. The closest response I found to my question said they didn't really know what causes this error. New installation of Primavera version 7 on user machine. I have done numerous database configurations setups with no issues.
Has anybody ever encountered Missing database property? Please check your oracle client version is correct.
Also try with re-installing oracle client. -
Dictionary word database missing?
Am using a 6210 navigator, with dictionary preinstalled under 'My Own' apps.
I recently bought a 4gb microsd to replace the 1gb one that came with my phone. however, when i fire up the dictionary app, i get the error 'dictionayr word info missing, install word database'.
i tried copying everything in the 'private' folder from my 1gb card to my new microsd, however, it still gives me the same error.
what may be wrong?
thanks!Well, it seems that now I have two dictionaries in my phone, one of which is the one which you linked me too, while I have another one with a red background and the word 中 on it. That second dictionary is the one that I am unable to use... Since I guess both serve the same purpose, how do I delete the second dictionary?

N91 Tutorial no data and Dictionary missing Proble...
Hello Everybody
I have two problems with my N91.
1. When I click Menu -> Tutorial, I found out that there is no data inside the tutorial. What I mean by no data is that there is no tutorial inside. Instead it gives "no data" result.
2. When I click Menu -> My Own -> Dictionary, I found that the output results are as follow "Dictionary word information missing. Install word database".
When I looked at my friends N91 phone. They still have the tutorial and dictionary.
One reason that I think the Tutorial and Dictionary is missing/deleted is because when I first bought the N91 I had some problems. In order to solve the problems I formatted it both the Hard Drive and the Phone memory. But I forgot to BackUp the Phone memory and the Hard Drive. Then After I format it I found that the tutorial and the dictionary are not working as it was suppose to be (before formated).
At that time the firmware is still not yet updated.
Then when the firmware updater software is avaible I straight away upgade the firmware in hope that the tutorial and dictionary is working again but it still not working.
I hope that someone here can help me how to make the tutorial and dictionary working again. In my country, there is no Nokia customer care available. Therefore, I cannot take my phone to repair.
Please..

Missing DataBase Login information for deployed VS2008 w/Crystal Report
I'm creating a Windows Form application using VS2008 Pro and the basic Crystal Reports (included).</br></br>
I've successfully added a crystalreportviewer control and a crystal report (.rpt) to my form. I've written the following code in the code behind to programmatically load/bind the report to the viewer. Everything works fine on my development machine (or any machine that has Visual Studio installed). Where I'm encountering problems is when I deploy the application to a machine that does not have VS installed (I have downloaded and installed the "Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008 Redistributable Package" for the appropriate processor type on this non development machine) that I'm getting an error . It prompts for "DataBase Login". The ServerName, LoginID and Password are all there, but the "DataBase" field is empty and disable for user input.</br></br>
Why is the DataBase information missing? How can I solve this problem?</br></br>
(On a side note, I vaguely remember a property for enabling/disabling the prompting of the database login. I can't remember where this was again to double check if that is the culprit. But I'm pretty sure that I did mark it as to not prompt, since it's supplied in the code behind. Plus it doesn't prompt on the development machines. Only on the non-development machines).</br></br>
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.</br></br>
The code executed in the PageLoad event of the form.</br></br>

Edited by: mtech8 on Jan 9, 2010 3:03 PM. Corrected formatting issues to make post readable.HI. Ludek,
Thanks for the tips. I tried both, but the problem presists.
On a side note, I did get my hands on yet another "non-development machine". This one ran with Window's Vista appeared to work (even with my original code).
The "non-development machines" that I've tested on are Windows 7 and Window XP machines. On these machines, when I commented out the reportDocument.SetDatabaseLogon line, when I try to load the report, it still prompts for the Database Logon information, however, it also has the "Database name" empty and disabled.
Since it worked on a non-development machine with Win Vista. I don't think there is a problem with references or the Crystal runtime packages.
As far as permission for the report to contact the database, I'm guessing there isn't a problem there either because the application does successfully connect to the database.
I'm connecting to a SQL2005 database and using the SQL Native connection.
On a side note: as for the enabling prompting, I just remembered that it was an option available when using Crystal Reports with a web project. Thus I couldn't find it here with a Window's Form project. -
HELP! users02.dbf file missing, database not starting
Hello,
I created a datafile via Enterprise Manager named users02.dbf for the wrong tablespace (SYSAUX instead of USERS); obviously this datafile was empty. When I realized my error I went and deleted the users02.dbf file from my file system and not from Enterprise Manager (I know.. stupid..)
The problem that I'm having now is that oracle will not start because it's missing this file, here is the error message:
SQL> SQL> ALTER DATABASE open
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01113: file 5 needs media recovery
ORA-01110: data file 5:
'/var/backup2/oracle/product/10.2.0/Db_1/oradata/standard/users02.dbf'
I do not hav a backup because it was only a test file.
Which file do I have to modify in order to tell oracle startup NOT to look for users02.dbf ?
I really appreciate your help.
DavidPaul, the last command gave me this error:
alter database open
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01589: must use RESETLOGS or NORESETLOGS option for database open

Built in dictionary missing after ios6
My built-in dictionary is missing after updating to IOS6
When I double tap on a word and click "define" button it brings up the "dictionary" block and it says inside the block "would you like to download a dictionary now?"
I then click the "download" button and it looks like it tries to download it, but I don't see the blue progress bar.
It then comes up with a message "no definition found"
Any suggestions on a fix, or if this is a bug that can only be rectified with an update?? I have another iPad and it is running iOS 6 and has a working dictionary.
HELP.This problem has been discussed here: Re: Cannot download oxford dictionary on iPad

Missing database errors at startup of mulitsim 12
Hi.
Ive downloaded and installed multisim 12.0.1 in evaluation, and when I run the program i am greeted by messages informing me that each database is missing. I have checked the paths in database manager and they seem to be correct. Im running Vista 32 home, full admin rights. Im considering buying the student edition to complete my university work, but im a little put off by this issue.
Can anyone here offer any advice to resolve this issue?
Many thanks
Solved!
Go to Solution.Yes that is the page from which I downloaded Multisim, I downloaded the educational downloader, and that version, rather than the professional version. Im running it in evaluation mode to try and complete some University work. I may purchase the Student version for the remaining study I have.
Here are screen shots of the error messages.
As per the last image, I tried re-installing from the download, and also re-downloading and re-installing to no avail.

Hi All,
I have an issue going on for weeks now.
I am running on AIX version 5.3 with oracle 10gr2.
Scenario:
I have recently setup our prod. environment to run on incremental backups.
Every Sunday a level zero will run which will delete older backups with recovery window of 2 days.
From Monday to Saturday a Level 1 backup is running.
So theoretically what will happen in my understanding should be there will always be two Level zero availabel in rman.
The behavior currently is, after two days from last level zero, the previous level zero aside from the current becomes missing.
I don't have any delete command for backups running on my level 1 scripts.
The strange thing was this, Rman doesn't report the other level zero anymore but physically the files were still there.
When I query from v$backup_set_details it didn't report the other level zero backup either but in v$backup_piece it shows those level zero pieces with status of not deleted.
Do you guys think that this is a bug with Incremental backups?
I would greatly appreciate your insights and feedback regarding this issue.
Regards,

My backup failed last sunday due to this issue so I have to manually delete the physical files. My /fra got full. Then re-run the Level 0 this monday.
As you can see. The level zero for July21 was gone.
Below is my the rman list backup yesterday. Level 0 is still present:

Missing Database Options under Configure menu in Sequence Editor
In my TestStand 4.0 Sequence Editor, the "Database Options" is missing under "Configure" menu. Does anyone know how to enable this option?
ThanksGlad that was it! Definitely narrows things down.
These entries on the Configure menu are controlled by a special type of sequence in the process model called Configuration entry points. If you open up one of the default models, you will see a sequence in the Sequences pane called "Configure Database Options". This is the default database options sequence.
It's possible that your custom model contains a Configure Database Options sequence, but that it isn't configured to be an entry point. You can change this setting by right-clicking the sequence and choosing Sequence Properties.
If the custom model does not contain the database functionality at all, further work may be required to add that functionality in. Here's a document explaining how to add new configuration entry points to a process model: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3837/en Depending on whether this model was originally based on one of our default models and how much of the original database logging code is still present, it may require a fair amount of work to reimplement that functionality. It might be a good idea to contact the person who created this custom model to find out more information about why those database options were removed and how difficult it might be to reimplement them.

Itunes says "Original File could not be found"
I've moved my Itunes music folder to a different location to accommodate more music. I've also created a new library in another location with other music (reasons aside). Also, the Advanced pane shows the correct location of the Itunes files. All wor
