Did anyone install Hyperion Finical management 11.1.2.1 successfully?

Hi,
We recently installed and configured Hyperion Finical management 11.1.2.1 version.
But we are facing issues when we run consolidation and when we load data into the new APP created on 11.1.2.1 version.
So, please let us know if any one has installed 11.1.2.1 and ran consolidation successfully.

Hi Was able to resolve the issue with consolidation.
We had to apply the patch for oracle client on HFM server which was 64 bit [patch ID: 8541781]
Error while consolidating HFM was:
System Message Summary
An unknown error has occurred in the HsvDSData2 object.
System Message Details
Error Reference Number: {53F5601A-D4FA-4C6A-89C6-E5CE3C6FAFCD}
We are still facing issues with FDM. Will update on the same.

Creative Cloud : Flash did not install but Application Manager says the program is "Up to Date"

I tried to instal Flash via the Application Manager the other day, my laptop went to sleep during install and when I woke it back up again the installation had frozen. I closed the manager and rebooted my laptop. The application manager now says that Flash installed and is "Up to Date"
But the application is not on my laptop... I looked in the adobe folder and there is nothing for flash. Searching comes up with no results.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app manager but the same thing appears, I have no way to reinstall Flash. If you have any ideas please let me know!

I am having a similar issue. Application manager says these programs are installed: Ps, Ae, Dw, Sg, Pl, Creative Cloud, but only Air and Premiere show in the Programs and Features panel as having been installed. The directories are all there, too, under Programs, but the programs won't run (nothing on start menu or in the programs list from that).
In addition, you say to uninstall the Application Manager, but it's not listed on the installed programs either. If I click on the downloaded file for it's intallation, it simply runs the program, as if it's already installed. Shouldn't it be under Progams and Features as an uninstallable program?
So, first, how do I uninstall the Application Manager? I like the idea of using this simple interface, so would like to continue to use it again after re-install.
Second, I would try manually installing the programs that are missing, but I don't know if that's safe considering the targeted directories are already full of files and data, as if they were installed, but didn't register properly with Windows to be able to be run.
I am not blaming Adobe on this, by the way, but I suspect that, because it was taking so long to install all the listed programs, I left the computer on and went to sleep, and possibly some power-saving feature interrupted the installation progress. It's a brand-new, very fast laptop, a Lenovo Y500 with Windows 8, and I just don't know how to control everything on it yet.

If you have a really good laptop which covers the lowest requirements from the Supported Platforms Matrices - Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System, you can follow the steps defined in the pdf: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40248_01/epm.1112/epm_hfm_rapid_deploy.pdf You can also use a VMware in order to simulate the required OS instead of using the actual laptop.
In any case and based on my experience, it is better to find a server to install HFM for testing and training purposes.

Did anyone set Zen Coding for Medit successfuly?

There's a file which contains "tools" and "tools-module" directories. I unpacked them to ".local/share/medit-1/" (as the instructions say) and started Medit. Something appeared in "Tools" menu of Medit but no sign of Zen Coding. Did anyone install in successfuly there? What were your exact steps?

Zen V uses the Microsoft MTP driver, which is already in Vista. Therefore, it should work right out of the box, especially with Windows Media Player . Just plug your device and use WMP to transfer songs. You should be good to go.

I need some guidance to install Oracle Configuration Manager.
I have just successfully installed Oracle Fusion - following "Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0) (Part Number E10421-07)" without OCM. I have EBS 12.1.3 and rdbms 11.2.0 on the same server.

Could please anybody tell me how to install the Sample Applications in Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2.2?
The following is written in the Administration guide:
If you did not install the sample files, you can obtain them by reinstalling Financial Management
and selecting the Sample Applications component.
I cannot find the “Sample Applications component” among components during installation process.
There are only “Financial Management ADM driver”, “Financial Management Web Application” and “Financial Management: services”.

After you install the sample application, all of the application extracts can be found under the below location.

Management Point did not install during deployment

I found the 2007 client installed on this server prior to the install. I removed the client with /uninstall... however after the installation of CM 2012 the managment point did not install. It pointed me to the mpmsi.log. Below is that log. Has anyone run

This normally means there is another install process in progress. So please restart the computer and try again. If no avail, check whether there is a process name msiexec running.

Error when installing sap solution manager

Dear all,
When i am installing SAP solution manager (SAP SOLMAN 7.0 EHP1SR1 WINDOWS_X86_64), I meet the following error:
An error occurred while processing option SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1 > SAP Systems > MS SQL Server > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step: ABAP processes of instance S01/DVEBMGS00 [ABAP: UNKNOWN] did not start after 10:30 minutes. Giving up.). You can now:
Choose Retry to repeat the current step.
Choose Log Files to get more information about the error.
Stop the option and continue with it later.
Log files are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/SOLMAN/SYSTEM/MSS/CENTRAL/AS.
Do anyone meet the same error before? Please help...

I had a similar issue because the size of the pagiing file, after increase the size of paging file to 20Gb, I solved the issue in my system. The instance wasn't up because the size of paging file.

I need to import metadata from essbase cube into OBIEE 11.1.1.6 from Essbase 11.1.2.2 remote server ,
I got suggestions that I should have installed hyperion essbase 11.1.2.2 client , so can anyone guide me how to install essbase client 11.1.2.2.
I did the same with OBIEE 11.1.13 and 11.1.1.5 with Hyperion essbase 11.1.2 and easily made its access. but with these new realease everything is got changed.
