DID ED04 BREAK SOMETHING THAT WORKED BEFORE DOWNLOAD

I am not having any operational or hardware problems with my phone at all. I have Froyo 2.2.1 with build ED01. Yesterday I became aware for the first time that my phone does not always ring when I am called. I am considering downloading ED04 but I am worried that it seems every time they try to fix something, they break something that was working.
If you downloaded ED04 and it broke something that you know for a fact worked perfectly before download I would be grateful if you posted here in detail. Thank you in advance.

Wow same here phone dont ring when called sometimes and I did the ED04 the other day so now I will wait for results. My other problem is text messaging will say someone else other than the one who texted me and I reply back to people to find it went to someone else.

So sudden power loss is an issue with SSDs.
Personally I'd go with a moderate sized SSD internally and a conventional external for backup. An array would be the most reliable.

My personal choice would be to use MPEG Streamclip (free) with the QT MPEG-2 Playback component ($20) installed to manually convert your files. This does, however, assumed that you cane either download/copy your DVD content directly from the camcorder to your hard drive or can do so from the DVD when inserted into your computer. This, therefore, assumes that you have finalized the DVD (if required) and it is either inserted into the computer or the camcorder is properly connected, powered, and recognized as an external device. In most cases, users forget to "finalize" their DVD and most devices (other than the camcorder itself) will not recognize the content until the disc is properly closed.

In updating Photoshop Elements 10, I was instructed to uninstall both the Photoshop Elements 10 Inspiration Browser and Adobe AIR software. I did. But now I don't have the weblink where I can download the suggested updates. (They were uninstalled along with the software.)
Anyone have the weblinks (that work) for updating both Photoshop Elements 10 Inspiration Brower -AND- Adobe AIR?

You can't get with out AIR. you could uninstall it afterwards.
i believe there is switch you could user when installing it to diable the AIR. I have it disabled at work, but I'm also
packaging it for mass deployment to 7000 machines. Check out appdeploy.com
If you don't want AIR and Acrobat.com you need to get the .msi and download the custom wizard and make an .mst file and run those. Quite fun. Or like I ssaid just run the set up and uninstall those features.

Still haven't found something that works properly

OK, I can't get the iTunes store to work. I have not found one thing in this entire iCrap program that works right.
My internet connection (T3 wireless) is perfect, iTunes is updated, DNS is reset, no firewalls are active. I am using windows XP and have checked every place I can think of for support except here.
When I open the itunes store, it goes to the home page just fine. Anything I click on or when I do a search, it acts like it's on a very slow dialup and then times out after downloading one or two pictures. Sometimes it just gives the time out error message.
I can't believe how frustrating this program is. Every time itunes has an opportunity to be useful or convenient to me, I end up wasting hours of my time trying to get it to work right and getting really frustrated.
Any help would be appreciated.

As you state you're on a wireless connection I'd be very surprised if your router wasn't running some type of firewall, or protection. It would be extremely insecure if that were the case.
Also are you on a real T3 connection (44.736 Mbit/s) that is connected to a wireless router, or are you using the T3 wireless company?
You may wish to contact them, as several companies have been known to install antivirus applications that have conflicted with iTunes.
I also recommend using MSCONFIG to disable all non essential programs and attempting to access iTunes that way. The following article will show you how.

If iTunes functions after disabling these other programs, you should be able to narrow down the culprit. If not you will definitely need to check your wireless router.

ok guys just after trying everything for changing dates and all the steps that were mentioned I was soo hearbroked cuz nothing was woking for me...I was still unable to upate from itune store and even my facebook was not working after updating to IOS6...and here is what I did and everything started working fine...
First Facebook was not even working on Safari, so i deleted all the history and cookies
2ndly I went to settings-->WI-FI--->Clicked on the blue arrow on the right side of my connections SSID--->under DHCP-->HTTP Proxy--> should be "off"
and than I randomly clicked Manual and Auto, also clicked BOOT IP and STATIC, and everything started working again...I was able to download updates and facebook app is working fine...I am soooo happy....Hope it helps other too...

Why did I find pictures that I never downloaded?

So today I was searching for the keychain application in my finder, and found nude photos of three different women (they were professionally taken pornographic photos, not ones someone took themselves). I have no idea how they might have gotten on my computer. This is what I did: I opened up finder, clicked on all my files, selected on this mac, and in the searchbar typed "key". And there they were, right next to a bunch of generic sound bytes (I'm assuming they are stock garage band files). One thing that is strange about it is, I opened up each photo in preview, looked, and closed them normally (did not trash them, just simply x'ed them out), and they disappeared and I cannot find them again. How on earth might these have gotten there??? I do look at **** on this mac from time to time, but it's never on a website, its via external hard drive. I never open any shady emails, never download shady files etc. Also, I have never seen the women in the photos in my life. Also, I am the one and only person that have ever used this mac other than the apple store. Very weird. Any ideas out there? Heres a screenshot where I found them.

It's not clear what your screenshot has to do with the question. Where were the objectionable files? In your Downloades folder?

Latest iPhoto won't display .NEF files that worked before.

All I get when trying to view any .NEF picture in my library (tens of thousands of them) is a large exclamation point in a triangle. That's helpful.
The pictures all worked in the previous version of iPhoto, but now all appear to be broken. I can't export copies of .NEF images either to another format; it just fails instantly.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

when I open a command prompt window and type
"powershell -importsystemmodules", I am then able to proceed to
import-module remotedesktop from the CMD prompt and perform the functions that I need to do. Not sure why in the world this would suddenly work only under CMD and not Powershell.
