Did I crash my Tv?
Hooked up mini to a mitsubishi wd-52631 via DVI-I(PureAv cable) on both ends.
Mini desktop shows up then I hit format on remote and the entire desktop became visible when boxed.
So then I open VLC and play disc in drive fine(in small window on desktop).
And then I select VLC full screen, this produces blocked white and black and gray scanning.
I turned off mini. reboot get a black screen.
reboot tv(reset button) Now I get a green scan line and or a momentary green block of scan. with a message about unsupported resolution and try analog.
I adjust the resolution to one listed in tv manual via SwitchresX.
reset tv and reboot mini. Still get just black screen or greeen scan line with the warning that the signal is not understood or analog
Have i broke the tv?
What do i to get the desktop up ... try every resolution?
I guess when I get back to my trial and error process I will start with refresh rates then.
At the 1980x1080 (24hz.30hz.60hz) i only first tried the 60hz.
The G4 mini can drive at those resolutions?

I'm sorry to hear of your problems. However, I wonder if iTunes screwed up your computer? Perhaps there's another, core issue with your Hard Disk? Have you run any Hardware Diagnostics?

Did all crash test steps still crashes
Firefox is running like an old beat up car. Crashes 30 seconds after start up consistently- always have to open twice and now crashes about an hour into every session. Previously did the safe mode, scan for viruses, updated plug-ins, checked for unknown plug-ins, checked for unknown programs and now followed your steps to generate the crash report which it lists an "amazing amount". Right clicked on the most recent report as instructed by Firefox and it returns message "The requested page could not be found". Overly dissatisfied with this programs performance as I can go on Explorer and Chrome with no crashes, but Firefox happens to be easier for my main business function on the internet. Have spent numerous hours following Firefoxes instructions as this is an apparent widespread issue from the amount of similar complaints I have seen posted. I know this program is "free" & has cost me hours spent and monies lost attending to this issue. A solution is requested as your product is claimed by your company to be the "best" when I can't even get it to stay stable- please properly help. The amount of manual steps recommended by Firefox to check these issues make it more worth while to go and get a typewriter..
I'll receive the next pm from 121212a :
''Hello, thank you for your help in the matter. Here are the 5 most recent crash reports. I replied to your email which from Mozilla notifications but I don't believe you can reply back to that address as message was returned twice and did not see another provided. Sent a test email which worked fine.

AIR App now crashes with AIR 15 runtime (did not crash with earlier versions of AIR)
Hi,
We've noticed our AIR application now crashes when the AIR 15 (the latest version available from Adobe) runtime is installed. This did not happen with earlier versions of AIR. The app does not crash when I debug in Flash Builder so I cannot identify the exact issue. The app will crash EVERY time when running the .exe on Windows. The crash happens on Windows XP and Windows 7. The app does not crash on OS X.
The message in Event Viewer says:
Faulting application name: PhotoMambo.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4eb75ae0
Faulting module name: Adobe AIR.dll, version: 15.0.0.249, time stamp: 0x53fe5c69
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0056fcdc
Faulting process id: 0x3dc
Faulting application start time: 0x01cfd110de4c8b50
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\PhotoMambo\PhotoMambo.exe
Faulting module path: c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0\Adobe AIR.dll
Report Id: 49c106e0-3d04-11e4-9219-001c42d9a43e
Please let me know if you'd like any additional information. This is such a bummer that an AIR update renders our app useless in Windows.
Thank you.I'm sorry this is happening. Could you please open a new bug report on this over at bugbase.adobe.com? When adding the bug, please include sample code or an application so we can quickly test this out internally. If you'd like to keep this private, feel free to email the attachment to me directly ([email protected]).
Once added, please post back with the URL and I'll follow up internally.
Previous versions of the AIR runtime can be found here: Archived Adobe AIR SDK versions -

JNDI needs some property such as the
java.naming.factory.initial
java.naming.provider.url
which are needed by the
InitialContext(env);
where env is a properties object
Now if you can not find the physical property file on the class path
by AtccJndiTemplate.class.getResourceAsStream(this.jndiProperties);
where the String "jndiProperties" get injected by certain IOC ( inverse of control container ) such as Spring framework
if not found then it will take the property from the system which will come from the evniromental variables which are set during the application start up i.e through the command line
java -Djava.naming.factory.initial=com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory -Danother=value etc..
I hope this could help

KB2912390 from Microsoft crashes Firefox in Feb Patch Tuesday. It did not crash IE9.
Would just send a crash report to Firefox. Would open in safe mode
SuperMicro C7P67 motherboard
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
16 gigs Crucial memory
Nvidia GTX 570 video card 1.2 gig memory
Two 1 gig WD Black hard drivesSolved the problem. When Microsoft upgraged me to IE 10 which screwed up my computer, Microsoft installed KB 2670838. KB 2912390 updated this fix and caused Firefox to crash. When I uninstalled KB 2670838 and hid that update, the problem went away and I am back browsing in Mozilla's arms.

I was prompted to install updates to OSX. Did it crash??
Everything went ok in the download. Then the install....seemed to be working fine. It got to the end. It went to launch and restart the new OSX. But once it got to the black screen , the colored wheel just keeps spinning and wont move. Im afraid to interfere because I am afraid it isnt finishe. What to do???
Force a shut down if you have to by holding the power button for an extended period.
Then restart as normal. -
Why did I crash on the new itunes update?
I just updated itunes yesterday. Since then I can't backup to my computer. Ended up losing everything on my iPad2. Need a simple answer since I'm barely computer literate.........
Thanks. Also consider the following approach. I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). Please see and follow the procedure in the following article:http://smallbusiness.chron.com/reverting-previous-version-itunes-32590.html The previous version works beautifully.

Why did itunes 11 crash?
Why did itunes crash?
Hello shirley236,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:

i had a desktop computer (a dell with windows XP) that was 7 years old and crashed. it has to have windows reinstalled. this means i'm losing everything on my hard drive. can i transfer what's on my ipod directly to my new computer, which is a dell latitude D600 with windows XP? thanks!
dell Windows XPDid the hard drive fail or did Windows crash? If it is not a hard drive problem then put old drive into new computer and tranfer files to new drive.
After that leave the old drive on the machine and use it for backups.
If the old drive actually failed then there are many programs available, some free some not, for doing what you need. -
Adobe Bridge CS3 is crashing everytime it attempts to open.
I am running a MacBook Pro with 10.9.4. Today when I attempted to open Bridge CS3, it crashed. No error. Just crash. Repeatedly. I have deleted all Adobe and reinstalled, but Bridge continues to crash. I have used the "shift/option" menu to reset prefs, etc, and it still crashes. I downloaded a supposed patch for Bridge & installed it even though my APP store didn't want me to, and Bridge continues to crash.
I'm a photographer and depend on Bridge as my photo browser.
Any other ideas for me to try?Well, I don't know what just happened to the gremlins, but get this:
On a whim, I held down only the shift key while attempting once again to open Bridge. And it OPENED without crashing.
I was afraid to let up on the key...but I did and Bridge did not crash. I browsed a couple of photo folders, closed Bridge....reopened it WITHOUT the shift key & it opened. I've now tried that several times and it's not crashing. And while I'm glad it's working, I'm not holding my breath that it will continue to work. WEIRD.
I'm going to re-start the macbook pro and see what happens. -
Firefox does not start up after an automatic update. Every time i try to open it, it just prompts the Mozilla Crash Reporter.

Same thing happens when i click restart.
No difference when i run it in Safe mode. And it won't let me create a new profile either. Is there anyway else i can extract my bookmarks? This is driving me crazy!Did the crash reporter send any crash reports?<br />
You can see the crash reports in this folder:
"C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports"
See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Breakpad
See also [[Firefox crashes when you open it]]
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br /><br />
See [[Basic Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile|Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile]]<br /><br />
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"<br /><br />
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)<br /><br />
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox<br /><br />
If that still causes the same problem then do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder.
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
See:
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Clean_reinstall -
Firefox crashes a few times when I was on Facebook and with email, also watching dramas online. Most of the time due to Adobe Flash and I did submit crash report. Later it crashes for unknown reason while I have email and Facebook on different tabs -- when I was on the tab of email, it looks system hang and not responding. This happened to my laptop that uses Windows Vista as I noticed. I don't remember it ever happens to my desktop that uses Windows XP.
It's pretty annoying of such known crash, but before removing Firefox, I did try to update all add-ons or plugins and it looks like doesn't work out. After updating for couple times and it still crashed like that, I removed Firefox and reinstall it.
'''Now I want to know how to put the shortcuts from my Favorite folder into the newly installed FireFox's bookmarks.''' I didn't backup the bookmarks by using Firefox. I even went to Firefox help for instructions, but it only mentions how to merge/input the bookmarks from other browsers. Please note the version I've removed and inrestalled is the same -- 3.6.13.It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
