Did I get two iPhone 5 or not?

I preordered a phone at apple at about 3:15am. It would only allow me to get 1 so I had to go back in and get the second. I got two emails that said "Your Order is being processed"   I looked at my credit card online and it's showing one phone. However if I got to AT&T both phones now show they can't be upgraded until 2014. So it looks like both are coming. Why does the mail say "being processed".  If the credit card didn't go shouldn't I have been told at the time. I'm worried cause sometimes if I make two payments back to back from the same place and same cost the credit card company will block it thinking it could be fraud
Thanks

If you're in the U.S., here's how to tell what you ordered:
Go to apple.com, and go to the Store page.  In the upper right, just under the spotlight icon, you will see "Account".  Click on that, and after entering your Apple ID and password, you can see your order(s).

  • Is there any way to get a iphone that is not with a specific carrier or unlock my iPhone

    i need help asap

If you have a Sprint iPhone, it can not be used with any carrier other than Sprint in the US. Sprint will unlock the SIM slot on a 4S for customers in good standing for international roaming, but that's it.
Unlocked iPhones are GSM only. The only supported GSM carrier in the US is AT&T. Unless you plan to travel overseas extensively, just get a phone with whatever carrier you want to switch to. Unlocked iPhone 5's are not available yet in the US.

  • How did I get two "home folders"?

I suddenly got into problems with my backup because the home folder did not have the usual content. When I try to see what happened, it looks like I have two "home" folders.
When I select Go>Home from the men, it looks like this:
And when I click on the Data drive below the Data folder, it looks like this:
The juliusson-folder in the second image is the one that I thought was the home folder. It contains the stuff that I want to back up.
Can someone see from this what could be wrong? I don't really know how it should look.
When this happened, I also lost my user settings.

I don't know if I moved the Home folder out of the start up drive on purpose It could have been part of my original configuration.
I set up my computer years ago by following some online instructions for an optimised set up for Photoshop work. I have three drives installed. One 1TB drive and two 2TB drives. The instructions that I followed were meant to put the system and programs on one drive (also used as scratch drive) and then have images and other stuff on the other two. Those two were set up as a mirrored RAID configuration.
Everything has worked fine for over three of years. Could the problems be caused by an accidental folder move?
It's hard to understand how an accidental folder move would cause this - the home folder path is also set within the system configuration. That means you can't just use any old folder as the home folder location.
I guess it's possible an accident moved it, but then there would have been some user interaction to have agreed to use it in the new location. It seems likely that you somehow managed to use the OS when the Data disk was offline - the folder got created in place of the old home folder, that caused a new one to be made (new home folders get the default template with Desktop, Documents, Music, Pictures etc).
Have you got another user account on the system? Is that user an admin?  Does that user work OK?
You will need an admin account to fix this issue, please create one & leave the home folder for the admin on the main boot disk.
Do you have any data that you need within the current home folder (the new one inside the Data folder)?
Your original settings will be saved in the original home folder, but that is not being used at present. If you can abandon the new home folder here is what I suggest…
Disable automatic login if it is enabled - you need to stop logging in as 'juliusson' whilst you fix this, it can be re-enabled when it is fixed.
Create a new admin user account in 'System Preferences > User & groups', this is as a backup to allow you to manage the computer whilst fixing the home folder.
Reboot, login as the new admin account.
In 'System Preferences > User & groups', unlock the panel with the admin password (click the padlock)
Select the 'juliusson' user account, right click (or ctrl+click) the name & select 'Advanced Options…' in the popup.
Look at the 'Home Directory:' path. That needs to be set to the old location. By default that should be /Users/juliusson, yours looks like it should be  /Volumes/Data/juliussonIf you are unsure use the Finders 'Go menu > Go to Folder…' to open '/Volumes/Data/juliusson' confirm that it contains some of your old user files.*
Save the correct path in the 'Home Directory' setting & reboot (do not edit any other Advanced fields)
*NOTE: In steps 6 you probably will not see the correct path since the Data folder is occupying the same location that the Data disk uses. To get around this you will need to rename the Data folder insider /Volumes, and reboot. I'd suggest you move the user home inside the Data folder to a new location as a backup & then delete the entire Data folder in /Volumes/. A reboot will be required to allow the Data disk to mount into the /Volumes/Data location. Once it mounts correctly login should work.
You can merge the home folders as Barney suggested, but this is probably safest via a manual approach unless you are willing to spend time & are experienced in comparing files with apps the can do selective copying (ChronoSync for example).
Please ask if you are unsure about any of this - it's major changes to your user data setup - a full backup is essential before beginning. Setting the home path is the correct way to relocate a home folder once the data is moved.

  • Did anyone get their iphone 5s delivered yet?

When did you order yours, what carrier, and when? I ordered an iphone 5s gold 32gb on sept 20 but i havent gotten mine yet. It still says item processing!!! Waiting is exhausting!

I'm in the Far West burbs and they were here around 10- skipped me because of an address apartment # issue, but are coming back at 4.
Are you in Lake or McHenry county? Are the roads still bad up there? Maybe they're just having issues getting around?

  • How can I get two iphones to quit sharing anything?

When my daughter was a few years younger, I decided to do something I thought would be handy. I wanted to share all my music, contacts, and basically have both phones populated with the same information. Seemed like a reasonable idea at the time.
I have regretted that decision. I now get all her friends phone numbers showing up on my phone, contacts, notes, whatever, shared between the phones equally.
I would now like to get my daughter's phone to work independent of mine. The problem I'm having is that her phone is so intertwined data-wise with mine, not sure how to basically make her phone the same phone it is now with all the same stuff on it, but nothing more is shared between our phones. I want to delete her friends numbers, but it will (right now) delete them on her phone also.
Is it possible to somehow get her phone to work independent of mine without having to force a clean wipe and install on her phone?
    Thanks

If A opens B then just pass a reference to B or do a getParent, then use a setter in A to set the values you want.

  • How do i share music between two iphone 4s , but not downloaded apps ?

i am trying to sync mine & my partners phones so that we can share itunes between both phones, i have set up 1 itunes account (using my apple id) & we each have a icloud account, i have managed to get the music to appear on both phones but it also brought all of my apps onto my partners phone, i think this must be because the itune account is in my apple id, is there a way to share music only ?
Also to play all the music that is on itunes library on the computer, on my partners phone, you have to change his shared music library setting everytime you wish to see all that is on the itunes account, is this correct?
    hope you can help,

make 2 user accounts on the computer
move the music to a folder shared between the 2 accounts
add the music to itunes on each user account
    sync
    and thats it

  • Two iPhones, One Computer, iCloud?

Hey, my wife and I are going to be getting two iPhone 4S's tomorrow. I've noticed that some people use one computer and one Apple ID with two phones to keep from having to buy apps twice. I'm curious on how that will work with iCloud. Will we be able to use two different iCloud accounts with one computer? Or will we have to use one iCloud because we are using the same Apple ID?
Will this mean all of my contacts will sync to hers, and all her photos will sync to mine and vice versa?
Or should we just create two different Apple IDs?
Basically, what I'd like to do is keep one Apple ID for our apps.  But separate everything else.  I'd rather not have her photos appear in my photo stream, or her contacts appear in my address book.  Is there a way to accomplish this?
    Does this even make sense?
    Thanks,

Here's what I did.   We have 2 iPhones, iMac , and iPad.  We share calendars and contacts but not email.
I setup iTunes with my single I'd on all devices so purchases, apps, and music can be shared.  For iCloud I setup one master iCloud ID and one sub account.  On phone 2 I setup the master icloud ID with only calendar and contacts enabled.  I setup another icloud mail account only with the .me sub account.  She also has a gmail acct as well.  So far it seems to work.  On the iMac iCloud is based on the master icloud account but each mail account is configured in mail.
    Hopefully it makes sense
Having problems with reminders syncing but assume it will only get better over time.

  • TS1363 Our two iphones are no longer recognized on iTunes

Our two iphones are suddenly not being recognized on iTunes.   In fact, when we go to "file", then "devices" and try to click on something under devices, it won't let us, i.e. nothing happens.    Tried deleting iTunes and uploading again.   Still didn't work.   BEFORE we tried deleting itunes and downloading it again, I tried to go on itunes to sync my new upgraded iPhone 5c.   No luck.   Back before I upgraded from my 4s to the 5C (in January 2014) I had noticed that all my regular phone contacts had disappeared to be replaced by some of my facebook friends.      It continued to still be that way up until yesterday, when I tried to sync my new phone to itunes.   I ended up spending a VERY long time on live CHAT with Apple support.     She suggested (after helping me for a LONG time) that I delete itunes from my desktop and download it again.    She led me thru the steps to delete and download again.   We knew that in the course of this help, we would lose our chat.    After re-downloading itunes, I still couldn't find my iphone on itunes.  Last night I requested a call from apple support.   They called promptly and to make a long story short, he had me go thru the process of deleting my phone and then reloading my phone to the most recent sync, which was in January fo 2014, thinking that all my original phone contacts would be there, and everything would be fine.    At the time, itunes appeared to be working (with this young man's help).   I had one more backup listed on my itunes account from July 2013, so he said to try syncing my phone to THAT backup date.   It didn't bring up an error code, but said it had "failed."
So off and on all day today, I have been plugging my phone in and trying to find it on iTunes.   Nothing, nothing, nothing.   Very frustrating.   I am wondering if going in person to an Apple store would help me more, and if THEY would be able to get my old contacts back.   BUT that still doesn't help with not being able to find our phones on itunes.
    Any ideas?

I just bought the new iPhone 4, having previously used the iPhone 3G. The old 3G no longer has phone capabilities (of course), however, I was wondering if I could continue to sync it on iTunes to keep the applications and podcasts up to date? Will iTunes preclue me from syncing two iPhones? Will iTunes not reconginze my new iPhone 4 if I sync the old 3G? I want to make sure that I don't mess up the new iPhone 4 before trying this.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm syncing two iPhone 4 units, an iPad, and an old iPhone 3G used as an iPod. All can be synced at the same time. You might need/want to rename the 3G if you kept the same name for your iPhone 4.

  • Using two iPhones with one Apple id

    Hello!!
I am currently an iPhone 3GS user.  I just got my new iPhone 5 and as I use two numbers, thought of switching my other number to this 3GS and thus using 2 iPhones for both the numbers.  So, can someone tell me if I can use the same Apple id for both the cell or I need to create a new one to use two iPhones.  (Please note: I use iCloud only for contacts sync and dont mind having same contacts on both the devices)
    Shall appreciate a quick response!
    Thank you.

Really appreciate this quick response.  So I guess there won't be an issue to use the same id on two iPhones at the same time.
    Thanks again!

  • Can't Get an iPhone 4s

Yo dawgs how can you get an iPhone if your not allowed to get one.

There is no one that is "not allowed" to get a 4S or any iPhone for that matter, so I assume the reference is that the account is not elligible for an upgrade.
If that is the case, simply purchase one at full retail price or add a line to the account to get a subsidized iPhone.
There's always ebay, craigslist, and other local sources for second hand devices.
