Did I make my MBP vulnerable?

I gave my MBP's airport id to connect me to his closed wireless network. Does having my airport id give anyone any access to my MBP?

Thanks so much for responding. My client has a wifi network that's hidden (however that's done) but he said that by entering my airport id into their (network? server?), my MBP would be part of their network. So now my MBP automatically joins their network when I'm in their office. But I'm worried that by giving the id which I took from the network preferences pane, I've shown him my MBP's undies. Usually, I just get login info from clients and enter it into my preferred networks. This is the first time I've given out a number and it feels like I made mistake.

You've checked the purchase history on your account (Store > View My Account on your computer's iTunes) and nobody else has access to your account ? I need to speak to a person. My bank card has been charged over $500 in fees from Itunes that I did not make. I spoke to someone in India on 7/22 gave them permission to take over my computer and that is what he said.

I need to speak to a person on the phone. I talke to someone in India on 7/22 I have him total control of my computer he went into my bank account and could see all the charges. His name was Amhit something, he said there was over $500 in charges that I did not make since over a year this has been happening. I tried before to address this with apple but I never get a person and the amounts are always small and then on 7/22 I got a larger charge so I called and somehow got Amhit. Amhit changed my apple password to he could get into my account but I didn't know what it was and I have not been able to do anything in itunes since 7/22 but yet today 8/1 there is a $6.39 charge on my bank card. Something is very messed up!!!! Amhit said he would get me a credit and call me the next day...surprise he never called. I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have received charges on my credit card from ITunes for amounts that I have not made. There are 6 different purches on 3 different days. One day the two amounts were 20.95 and 20.96. The previous day the amounts were both 109.99. The day before that they were 139.99 and 99.99. I have tried to contact ITunes, but no answer. The statement on my credit card says APL*APPLE ITUNES STOR 866-712-7753 CA. I did not make any of these purchases, did not receive an e-mail about what was even bought on these days. Anyone else have this trouble and resolve it? Looks like I will be going to the bank today to cancel my card! Very disappointed in ITunes lack of security.

I have had the same problem with a credit card that I have never used at Apple. The amount was $21.23 and was described "MC Authorization 00112507 APL*APPLEITUNES STORE 2010-04-07 12.31.59" Apple's email help desk couldn't help me because the card isn't one of my stored cards. I was told to contact my bank.
It seems to me that somewhere in AppleLand there is a record of the charge which is still pending. I don't want to go through the hassle of changing cards.

Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

Using another PC, download the application on the following link and save it to your Downloads folder.
PC Login Now
When the download has completed, open your Downloads folder and double-click the installer - this will result in another file appearing which is the disc image ( .ISO ) that you need to burn to a CD.
You will now need to use an application such as ImgBurn to burn this ISO correctly to a blank CD - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is Here.
Insert the CD into your PC you can't log in to and restart to boot from the disc.

Apple didn't make this easy, did they! When Lion first came out, I think that check box was under the Trackpad heading of the System Preferences, whether you actually had a trackpad or not. I take it there's nothing there, either?
I plugged a plain ol' three button Logitech mouse into the iMac, and while the Mouse panel options did change some, the same check box for Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating was there.

I did this update just the way I've always done updates and had exactly the same problems: none. Unless you tell us what difficulties you had/are having, we can't really comment knowledgeably.
