Did not get verification email

Signed up for the iCloud account using my existsing appleid and was prompted to verify by receiving an email. Never got the email.

Assuming the email is not in your spam folder, go to http://appleid.apple.comand log in with your AppleID.
Do you see an option like this? You can either resend the email or correct your email address if necessary:
Verify your email address.
A verification email was previously sent to <your email>. We can resend the verification email to the same address, or if this address is incorrect you can change your Apple ID and email address.

    If you can't remember and you can't get an email (are you sure where this email is going and do you have access to the account) and don't remember your secret question answers you need help.

  • Email problem; not getting verification emails

    Hello all,
    I'm new to BT - had fibre installed a week ago... forst post here (be gentle!).
    All good so far except for email. I'm using Thunderbird and can send and receive from my new BT address, and receive emails from all my other domains.  But I cannot send from my existing addresses. This is a big problem as I have three other email accounts. One is my own domain that I need to use with various 'prefixes'.
    I have added all the addresses in the BTYahoo web as instructed and get a message telling me that the verification email is sent - but it isn't.  I get no verification message sent to any of my accounts.  I have checked spam, deactivated all filtering etc.etc... I just don't think the verification emails are being sent.
    I have trawled the internet for advice, searched various forums, and I have followed the BTYahoo advice about this issue, along with Andyweb's excellent advice (here) and contacted him regarding this issue but I am still getting nowhere since I am not getting any verification email. Is there a real person at BT who can help?  PLEASE?!

    Hello... anyone there?!
    It's now seven months since I raised this problem and still nothing! BT 'support' is a complete joke.
    Such a shame as the pre-sales people in the UK were great - infomed and helpful. The guys who came to install the new line and fibre were great.  I suppose it's only to be expected that once I'd signed the contract I would be forgotten! Their colleagues in India who are the 'support' phone every few days to tell me my situation has been escalated and will be sorted within 48 hours... this started SEVEN MONTHS AGO!
    I am now convinved that you (BT) either just hope that we (the user with an issue) will just go away, or that you genuinly think that 'someone' in India is doing something and as long as they 'keep me informed' then I have no cause to complain.
    You do not deserve to be in business when you care so little about 'aftercare'. I know that for every person like me, who quietly slips off the BT-radar (yet still HAVING to pay for something I was promised but you won't supply), there's a dozen more who sign up after seeing the 'too good to be true' offers. The individuals that I have dealt with have been pleasant, and convince me that they will do something. But BT as a company are a disgrace... please prove me wrong and send me a verification email so that I can get back on track with my contacts!

  • Why am I not getting verification email for new ipad cloud access?

    Have new iPad 2 and passed on initial iCloud set up and verification. Now am not receiving any verification emails when trying to authenticate Cloud account. Any ideas why or better yet how to fix this ?

    Congratulations on your new iPad!  I recommend resending the verification email from the Apple ID website as outlined below:
    How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
    When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
    1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
    2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
    3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.

  • Customer cannot login and did not get password email

    I forgot the answers to my security questions in iTunes, so I clicked on "Forgot answers" so that Apple sends me an email. For about 24 hours now I'm waiting for this email. I didn't get it yet. What can I do?

  • HT5312 I'm not getting the email to change my security questions

    So I tried to download an app on my new iPhone 5s, and it told me that i needed my finger print, password, and that I needed to answer 2 security questions. I choose these questions a few years ago, and I honestly forgot the answers to them. So, I went on the Manage Account thing and it said that they could e-mail me a link to change the questions. I hit this about amultiple number of times throughout the course of the day and nothing happened. I did not get any emails regarding to change my security questions. ofcourse, I did double check all of the information, and I went on both e-mail accounts that I have given to Apple. Has this problem ever occurred to anyone esle, and do you know how to fix it?

  • When I use a simple form, I get this error message "Form communication is configured with an email address of..." and the person's email address did not get sent a message

    I was unable to use the simple form to which I should simply put the email address of the person to whom the form should be sent to.  I get this error message:
    As a result of this, this person did not get any filled form response.  Where did I go wrong and how can fix this.
    Second question, I am using GoDaddy.com account and they have their own set of php form.  If I want to use their php form, where in Adobe muse, can I insert their php?

    If you are seeing an Apple ID that is not yours, then you have purchased content on your iPad that is tied to that Apple ID. You would need to know that password or remove the content that is associated with that Apple ID.

    That looks like a JSON bookmarks backup file, from 11-01-2012. Did you try '''restoring''' that file?

    Never messed with JSON files other than viewing them on a few occasions out of curiosity. There are no line breaks which make them very difficult to read.
    As far as working with that file in {like} NotePad goes:
    A. use Find / Search for each indecent of a '''"uri"''' string, then "copy and paste" the uri into another text file, and then move on to the next "uri" string.
    B. use a text program where a filter can be set for the "uri" field in the JSON file for a line break or to "scrape out" the "uri"s only for display or export to a list of uri's.
    Or try using an online JSON editor like this, to try to display only the "uri" field.

    You've checked the spam folder on your rescue email account as well as its inbox, and tried clicking the reset link again ? If you still don't receive it then contact Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset them.
    Contacting Apple about account security : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security.
    When they've been reset check that your rescue email address is spelt correctly for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses.

    Perhaps the reason why you didn't receive an email confirmation is that may have misspelled your email address. Do you mean "icould" or "icloud"?
