Did NOT update to iOS4, 3G slow ANYWAY

I did NOT update to iOS4. I saw all the reports of it slowing the 3G down, so I didn't.
And in the time since, my iPhone has been crazy slow ANYWAY. Yes, still running 3.1.3, and it's still slow going into Settings, SMS, Camera. The Home button doesn't always respond to the first press. The battery is down to 20% by mid-day (one example: charged overnight, put it in pocket, saw a movie, made a 14 minute call after. 20% battery warning during that call).
I took it to the Genius bar, they did notice that the battery performance is really bad now. I told them I felt that it was related directly to iOS4, even though I didn't update. I've had and used my phone long enough to know that it was right around the time the update was released that this began.
My theory - not officially accepted by the Genius, but acknowledged as possible - is the apps. I've been keeping my apps up-to-date, and most of them have been updating for the Retina display and Multi-tasking. It feels to me (and my iStat app has backed this up somewhat) that the new apps, optimized for iOS4, are sucking more memory from the 3G regardless of the OS version. Maybe they're constructed to expect iOS4 and run harder, I don't know.
I've seen other 3G owners who didn't update having the same problems, some worse than me. Everything I've seen on the forums complains of slowness after updating to 4.0. Anyone had any problems remaining on 3.1.3?

I have all the issues people seem to be having (slow slide-to-answer, the middle bottom button guide not responding at all sometimes, receiving voice mails but not phone calls, frozen screens, etc), but I have NOT updated any of my apps since 4.0 came out, so I don't see that as the issue.
I feel as if the software for the iPhone 4 is just too much for the 3G to handle, and is making my phone obsolete. I run the gamut from frustration to anger, and while I've always perceived Apple as having good-to-great customer service, it has made me think twice about the Mac book I've been desiring...

Thanks John. I have tried solutions 1 to 3 from (-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.h tml) and they do not work. So I presume that all I can do is to remove all 25 CC applications and start again!
Incidently, ( http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ ) does not list Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 as an update even though Adobe have announced that it is available (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/04/camera-raw-8-4-and-dng-converter-8-4-now-a vailable.html). The same applies for Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2 (http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2014/04/premiere-pro-cc-7-2-2.html). If they are not available this would explain why I cannot download them but I am very suprised that Adobe didn't mention this when I contacted them.

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem. The backup is necessary on principle, not because of anything suggested in this comment. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Then click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.

Open quantity in Sales Order did not update after cancelling Reserve Invoice

Client created Credit Memo with reference to Reserve Invoice but this did not update the open quantity in Sales Order. Client is using SAP B1 8.82 PL9. I tested this in SAP 9.0 and still same behavior. Is there a work around other than creating another SO?
I checked Document Settings and "Reopening Doc by creating credit memo based on Doc" is enabled.

Thanks for the reply. How will the client be able to make new reserve invoices from the SO? They are trying to make partial reserve invoices from the sales order. I already suggested to just change the quantity in the reserve invoice before adding. But I have doubt because the SO might close prematurely before they complete the quantity in the SO because open quantity is much less then the quantity in SO.

Open Quantity: 40
Reserve Invoice 1: 60
Reserve Invoice 2: 40
SO closes before they can make Reserve Invoice 2

1)Have U created Master Data in J1ID,If U are allready Created Master Data pls Check Mtrl Type(It should not Non Cenvatable)
2)If you are following TAXINN,Then u should maintain Tax code to Company code.
If u are Using TAXINJ,U should maintain Excise Defaults.
3)In Excise Group,U should Activate MIGO transactions.
4)Check ur TAX code,Tax code is Deductable or non dedctable.

File is picked by file adapter - Its working fine
I have used BPM
In RFC side i used BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE
Its working fine and return an Invoice Number and Fisical year .
When i Check this in the R/3 System , in Invoice no Does not Exist .
Message mapping is ok
SXMB_MONI all are ok
Receiver file i got the invoice no and fisical year .
The Problem is " DATABASE TABLE DID NOT UPDATED "
So should i do BAPI_COMMIT seperately ........
Any solution ................

Apple said to update ical. I guess I waited too long because my calendars and all my events disappeared. I tried syncing with my iPhone and it deleted my calendars off my iPhone. Double clicking on a calendar invite does not work either, it won't open or populate my ical. I requested an update through Mobileme to get ical working again and nothing..... It does not appear to want to update or start working again. Is this an issue with Apple ical in general?

Solaris 10 u8 system did not update daylight savings time

I am running Solaris 10 u8 x86, and my system did not update for the daylight savings time change on Nov. 1, 2009. I am in the US/Mountain time zone. What should I do?
Patch 141517-04 is installed, I assume it came with u8.
Does this have something to with JAVA Time Zone updater? I saw this:

I reinstalled iPhoto because I didn't like the photos app. When I did, the events did not update--the last one was April 12. I downloaded my photo stream, thinking that that would get me my most current events, but I just have a mess of photos. How can I get events to recognize everything after April 12?

Details needed
1 - what exactly did you do? There is no need to reinstall iPhoto as it is no removed by the OS upgrade - you just launch it form the LaunchPad or the application s folder and use it as before
2 - what updates did you expect? If you have imported photos into the Photos application then iPhoto knows nothing about them - you have to import them to iPhoto too
3 - Nothing has changed with PhotoStream what exactly are you seeing?

Connect your iPad to your computer and let iTunes back up your iPad. After it does that disconnect it and go into your settings under general and under reset and select erase all content. After you do that reconnect to your computer, open iTunes and follow the screen options to set up your iPad as new. Once it is done doing that see if you have the latest version of iOS installed and if it does then either download gain the apps you had before or restore them from the backup made previous.
