Did someone experience hard vignetting with Pentax 120 mm ƒ4 lens and LR 5.7?
When opening files shot with a Pentax 645Z in LR 5.7 I have very strong (overlighted).
Updated camera raw to 8.8: no change.
I don't have that if I disable the profile correction.
If I set the vignetting to minus 5 it's fine… but not normal!
Any trick?

I knew that ACR and LR are different but I thought that it may (hopefully!) upgrade the camera/lens profiles… too bad!

Someone is using iturnes with my credit card without my permission and I want my credit card number removed. I've been trying to get this matter resolved for months. I've lost all patients with this matter. I want my credit card number removed from your business.

Since you don't say what resources and methods you've been attempting to get this matter resolved, it's difficult to offer suggestions. But if your credit card has been used without your permission, your primary recourse should be to your credit card company to report the unauthorized charges and have them issue you a new credit card. If your card has been compromised such as to make unauthorized charges on the iTunes Store, it's highly probably that it can be used elsewhere.
As to removing the card number from your iTunes Store account, see:

You should be able to change or remove the card information there. If not, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store, if you have not done so already. If you have, please post back with a summary of what they told you and perhaps someone can offer additional suggestions as to how to proceed.

I have a Sony Vaio desktop PC with a partitioned hard drive, running Windows XP Pro. There is 13 gb on C drive with the OS, and 140 gb left on D drive. I am trying to update my Original Ipad from 4.3.4 to 5.1.1 and because C drive is full ( I have moved everything that can be moved to D drive) mostly from Microsoft updates over the years, I am unable to do the backup Itunes is telling me I have to do to update or lose all media on this iPad. 12.67 gb is required to do the backup and I have a whopping 965.2 MB. I can not get the cloud to use as backup as it requires 5.0 or better. Does anyone know if I can back up to D drive, and if so how? Also, I have a 1 terrabyte WD mini external hard drive I just got as a gift...could I do the backup to it and, again, if so, how? Please explain from start to finish, as my brain is now fried from, first from finally getting Itunes updated to 10.6 ,and now trying to do this update. Thanks to anyone for their help!!
iOS device backups are stored in your iTunes library.

This hard drive so I copies all the files (400gb worth) to my time capsule hard drive (WD 3 TB but set up by the Mac book pro). Now I am not sure what I need to do. I wiped the other WD hard drive cleAn on my pc and want to set it up in a way that I can access the files on both a pc and a Mac. If I partition it on my MacBook pro will this work? If I do it do I need to save the file twice on both the pc and Mac partitions or simply by partitioning it the hard drive will ave files in both formats regardless of if it's from a pc or a Mac. X

Experience Formatting Gen5 Ipod Hard Disk with Fat 32?
Does anyone have any experience formatting a Gen 5 60gb for Windows hard disk with Fat32? I was thinking of doing this and then restoring from itunes 7.5 to start all over. If so, how did you do it? Thanks in advance. Running Win XP w/SP2
i reformatted my daughter's 5th gen. 30Gig thru 'my computer' but itunes still wont recognize it so i can't use the RESTORE on it. anyway, plug the usb in your ipod and wait for 'my computer' to recognize it then right click on it and and choose format.

I have just selected all my desktop icons and accidentally deleted them. This included my external hard drive with 22,000 photos in iPhoto. I cannot open iPhoto now. Can someone help please?
What is the file system of that external HD? is it MacOS Extended (Journaled)?
Which iPhoto version do you have?
If you directly select the iPhoto Library in the Finder and use "File > Get Info", does the library still show as "Kind: iPhoto Library" and is the file size correct for 22000 Photos?
If the library does no longer have the correct size, restore it from your backup.
But if the library has the correct size, try to open it directly by clicking it. This should work, if your iPhoto version is iPhoto '11. -
I have an Ipad, I activated the time capsule with no issues. I added the airport Utility application without issue. However, I do not know how to access the hard drive with either my Windows computer or the Ipad. Does someone know how?
On windows load the airport utility .. latest correct version as possible.. there is no windows 8 but win7 works after a fashion.
Make sure the TC is using SMB compatible names.. short no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
Type the name directly into windows explorer.
\\TCname or \\TCIPaddress
If no luck turn off all the firewalls.. internal windows plus security software plus whatever other gargyoles and other rubbish AV software you have running.
Ensure windows is able to at least ping the TC by IP address and name..
Use the utility in windows to set file sharing to guest account on with full read and write access.. and set workgroup to WORKGROUP. -
I already downloaded bbm, but the problem some of my friends i can see their profile pictures and there is a problem to invite a contact either barcode and through pin. Did you experience the same problem with mine???

My grandson played with my 4th generation iPod touch and the phone icon and contacts icon are gone. I have gone to settings and done the "reset all settings" and "reset home screen layout" with no success. I also did a hard reset. No luck. I can get to my apps through the search screen but no icons.Help?

Did someone have experience to use downloaded driver for SR 245?
Did someone have experience to use downloaded driver for SR 245 to take data? I used GPIB-USB-HS cable (from NI) to collect data, and corrected GPIB address in the driver, which is found by M&A Explorer. When I ran this program driver, I saw ERROR light flashing one time and Activity light flashing for another time, but I got nothing for data. I used BNC cable to connect input signal in INPORT 1 in the front panel of SR 245, so there should have signal input. Do I need to change something in the program?

The EABO error usually indicates a timeout. This could be caused by a
few different things such as sending an
incorrect command or not appending the correct termination
character. I would check the manual for your device and see if it requires a certain type of termination character, as well as what commands it accepts. You can also find troubleshooting techniques for this error here and here.

Can someone PLEASE help me with my Satellite A665-S5170
Ok.
I am going to do my best to sum up what is going on right now.
So a few months ago, my uncle passed away, and I now have his laptop. Even though he bought it in March 2011, he never used it, so it was practically brand new when I got it.
Long story short, everything was fine up until about a week ago. That is when I noticed something was wrong, but didn't know what.
Well I ended up just resetting it to factory settings. ()
At first I thought that after resetting it, everything would be fine, but I've had to do that with my old Dell Laptop.
Well, everything is not fine.
Now I just keep getting the same message pop up on my screen every so often, telling me I have to "start the backup process"
But I did that already, and it keeps popping up.
But there is no pop up about a disk failure, or how to fix it.
So, I'm really, really hoping that someone can help me with this!!
I uploaded a screen shot of the pop up, so you know exactly what I see.

wtf.PNG 68 KBIt seems the hard disk is failing. The notice about backing up doesn't mean that the backup process will fix it. The computer has detected the hard disk is failing and needs replacing. It's suggesting you back up your data so that you can replace the hard drive. You could take it to a service center or try replacing the hard disk yourself. Replacing the HDD isn't usually too terribly difficult if you're comfortable. Somewhere on the bottom will be a door that can be removed to give you access to the drive. Sometimes there's a metal caddy on the drive, and sometimes there isn't it. If there isn't, you simply swap in the new drive. If there is, you'll need to remove the caddy and put it on the new drive. You'll want to ensure you have recovery discs though. You can use the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator (sometimes called Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator) to create back ups. Then you replace the hard drive, put the disc in, and start the recovery process.
