Did the instructions for my new printer and not printing
i have a chromebook 14-q037wm and just bought hp deskjet 1512 all in one printer and not having any luck printing. maybe someone can walk me through the set up and i could get it to work. thanx

I know that I can set the proxy settings in the system properties, and this works perfect.
But I don't want to set the proxy settings in the system properties, because this proxy settings will be for ALL the URLs, and I just want for a few URLs.
How could I set the proxy settings for just some URLs and not for all?

The sim card for my new iphone 4, purchased today, is saying the sim card is not installed. I have followed the directions included on the support page but have two problems. 1. I can't open my sim card sleeve with the key and 2. I can't get any apple support until Monday evening - can anyone help please?

Where do I find the ICC profile for my new Canon Pro-100 printer?
I downloaded ICC profiles for several different papers, but for optimum color management, do I not also need a ICC profile for the printer itself? Very new to this......I have my ColorMunki and I use Photoshop and Lightroom. Trying to get everything coordinated properly...........

Laura MowreyIf you downloaded ICC profiles for papers they should be for the Pro-100. The paper vendor prints a known pattern of colors using a Pro-100 and then uses a device to analyze the print. The ICC profile contains the correction info that adjusts the printer to make the prints look like the known color pattern.
The Color Munki will calibrate your monitor to make sure that the colors you see are correct.
I suggest you calibrate the monitor to,D50 at 80-90 lumens/m^2.

I just bought a new printer for my iMac version 10.7 Lion but I am able to install the software but for some reason I am not able to view the printer under system preferences to add the printer. It is connected with the USB cord!! It as if the printer does not show up in the add printer section under system prefernces!!
I checked the manufacturer and apple site to see if my printer is supprted and it said it was!! I am using the HP officedeskjet 4500 G510a-f (HP Officejet 4500 Desktop)!! Still does not show up under add printers please help!!

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it. -
I tried getting the update for my new iphone and now it is asking me to activate it again but won't let me, how do I fix this? I had started using it for a few hours and tried getting the update and now it won't let me activate the phone. I also can't call the helpline because it won't let me leave this screen on the phone that says "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes." What it says on iTunes after I fill out the activation info is "There was a problem activating your iPhone. Please contact Verizon Wireless at 1-800-922-0204 to have this iPhone added to your account. Click Continue to be able to explore its features and the App Store." Please help this is driving me nuts!

I already have purchases linked to my existing NZ Apple ID, and will still be using them. However, once the US Apple ID is set up I will use that predominantly from both devices for any new purchases (and Apple TV).
I also understand that iOS5 made a change that says there is a 90 day hold on changing between Apple ID's on the same device. Does anyone know if this is true?You will lose data from whichever was the 2nd to last to sync .

When I try to open a project, the only option for a new track is for external MIDI device; when I try to open an audio or software instrument track, I get an error message saying that "the specified number of tracks could not be created. Reduce the number of tracks to create and try again." I didn't specify ANY number of tracks. Thanks for help!
Ah.. then I suspect you just need to go to Logic's prefs/Audio and check CoreAudio...
It has been unchecked somehow...
