Did the tone/alert change in iOS 6/iPhone 5 when call ends/hangs up??
I noticed in the iPhone 5 (not sure if its the new OS or phone itself) but now when a call ends its a different sound/tone, I be thinking another call is incoming. Before when a call ended it used to sound like "beep, beep, beep" now its "beep, beep (a pause) beep". Has anyone else noticed this? Any way to change this ?
Hi, DBlockAllDay! I've also noticed this change! The end-call tone seems like it will now go as "beep, beep, (pause), beep". Is anyone else concerned about this? I liked the old 3-beep pattern!

I am super frustrated with Safari in ios 7. I do not have the pages icon on the bottom right of Safari ios 7. When I press the plus sign at the top right I see 'private' on the bottom left side but there are no buttons on the bottom right at all. I am trying to get Safari to have the tab Rolodex look of the tabbed windows. So I can see the pages. Hope this is making sense. Why am I not seeing the pages button on the bottom right of Safari?

what a long post....Apple, btw, does not read this stuff, so ranting, raving, and complaining here might make you feel good, but it does no good at all. That being said, I, too have a Mac Pro Quad Core Xeon with 6 gigs of ram and an nVidia 8800 GT graphics card (not as good as yours, alas) and I've had no problems at all with it. Yes, it doesn't have Thunderbolt, but maybe we Mac pro owners will get lucky and someone will come out with an adapter (probably not). No, you probably don't have to throw away your Mac Pro, but if you do, I'll take it, for a small "recycling" fee >:-) That was a joke. Yes, the Mac Pro's future isn't quite clear, YET. Hopefully that will improve very soon. As for not being able to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Don't worry about that too much, Nobody is forcing you to do that. Your Mac Pro won't quit working if it isn't installed. From what I've heard, you should give the new OS a chance, and wait to get it, in case there might be some bugs, or stuff not working with the new OS, which has been known to happen. Yes, we Mac Pro owners don't like being treated like mushrooms-kept in the dark, and being fed......... but Apple is Apple and it will do what it does, and there is nothing you or me can really do to change that. All I can say is....trust, have faith, be patient, go for a walk, do something else to take your mind off of this problem. IF apple decides to drop the Mac Pro for good, and that's a big "IF", I think they will anger a whole bunch of people

Set the default field value to transaction code field, when calling from WD
Hi all,
Can we pass the value in a input field of a standard transaction calling from WD application. Suppose we are calling a transaction VA03 in an external window, then how will be pass the value in the VBAK_VBELN screen field.
Is there any way to pass the value to this transaction field. I have also tried out to set the parameter ID 'AUN' for VA03 transaction VBELN field. But it did not work for me.
Is there any way to set the default field value to transaction code field, when calling from WD?
Please suggest, if anyone have any idea.

TextEdit - Did the "text" font change recently?
For some personal music, I take a screen shot of a text edit window (not RTF, just text). TextEdit shows the text in it, ina system font or something, and now it's different. You can really tell in the "9" and lowercase "t". I believe this happened when I upgraded to 10.4.9, but I'm not sure. I can't find any other information about the "text" font that TextEdit uses.
Any ideas?

What happened to the 2nd alert in the appointment calendar. For example, I used to be able to set a 1 hour before alert and a 1 day before alert for an appointment.
Right you are. It shows cc's but not bcc's. Don't know any other place to look. I checked my email account via Safari and it was the same.

I updated my 4S yesterday. Now there is no sound indicating that a text or Imessage was sent. Even when a new message come in. Not the message alert tone, but the sound it makes when you leave a conversation open and a message comes in under that conversation. Best way I can describe it. I have looked through all the setting and have been unable to fix it.
I found the problem. If you set your text alert tone to none. The phone will not make a message sent sound. I set it to Tritone and it started make the sound again.

Hi, I just bought an iPhone 6, 64GB and had everything ready to do the "restore from backup" from my old iPhone 4 8GB. It kept stopping and I'd have to start over from the beginning. When I finally got it to do something with the help of my provider(who had walked me thru from the beginning anyway); I figured I was all set. Then I went to see my pics to use one for my lock screen and there were NO PICTURES AT ALL and only part of my calendar came over. I'm missing a lot of future appointments that I know are set up. I made sure not to wipe out my old one yet; as I will have to since I did the trade in plan; so I still have my old iPhone 4 and it has everything in it, in addition to having the backup on two computers in the house.
I also tried syncing it after the restore since things were missing, but that didn't work either.
I would appreciate any help so I can use my phone and get going with it.
Thanks!Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

How to stop the computer from changing its local network name when waking up from sleep mode
How do I prevent a mac mini from changing its' network name automatically when it wakes up from sleep mode... It will wake up and display a warning that the network name is already in use and it changes its name to (n+1) name with number after it... I know that there is no other device with that name because the only other things on the network are 2 hard drives (one being used for time capsule) and a printer..
This is very annoying and needs to be fixed.... don't tell me to make the computer never sleep because that defeats the power savings settings under power management.Go to System Preferences>Network>AirPort and delete your network from the Preferred Networks box. Reenter your network information. Make sure that AirPort is the topmost listed interface when you Show Port Configurations. Apply the changes and Restart. Does it work now?

I did the 7.1.1 update on both my iPhone 5s and on my iPad. The calendar on the Iphone no longer shows me a list of upcoming/past events. I still can get this info on my iPad though. Can anyone tell me how to turn this feature back on so I get get the list using my iPhone?
Tap on a Day to put it in Day view then tap the icon on the top right that looks like three dots with lines after them.

please solve this issue by a quick update and thanks.I have been on the phone twice today with my carrier. They reset it the first time, it worked for an hour then messed up again. They reset it a SECOND time.. It worked for 6 hours, then messed up again. I don't know if this is a software issue or what but if ANYONE has any insight, I would appreciate it greatly.

IWeb on ML not finding domain file
I have transferred the domain file from user/<username>/Library/iWeb from my snow leopard external boot drive to the Mountain Lion boot drive, but when I start iWeb it shows no sites! It works OK in Snow leopard. Has Apple nobled it in Mountain Lion?
