Did Three-Way CC lose functionality in CS6?

Occasionally, I want to do a quick levels adjustment to only the highlights (for instance, the seamless white background is not pure white). In CS5, I would use the Three-Way CC effect, adjust the Tonal Range Definition to just the area I wanted to change, Select Highlights from the dropdown box to only adjust the highlights, then adjust the Input Levels.
In CS6, there is only a checkbox that says Master (no dropdown box for shadow/mids/highlights). There seems to be no way to only adjust input levels for highlights (or shadows/mids). Did it lose functionality or does it just function differently and I'm not seeing the right check box somewhere?

I found CS5.X 3-way CC more functional than CS6's.... thoughts?

Maybe I'm missing something from the new interface, but in CS5.x I was able target and affect the Video input/output levels of Highlights, Shadows, Midtones separately. So if I wanted to stretch the blacks without affecting midtones or highlights, no problem. From what I can tell thus far, CS6's 3-way CC has only master Video input/output level adjustment, which seems like neutering to me.
So am I missing something? What I see doesn't seem like an improvement by any means.
And if I'm not, what would be the best GPU accelerated tool to accomplish the same thing?

That's the thing that bugs me about PPro color tools - too many disparate effects needed to get the job done. And since the RGB color corrector was broken a few months ago and still hasn't been fixed AFAIK, I've moved to Colorista II and could not be more pleased. I really think Adobe needs to clean up the color workflow in PPro so I can focus on the look and not keep shuttling between effects. In the meantime, I'll stick with Colorista.

they are present in AE, but in premiere it doesnt give me the abilitly to see the mask.... were some things changed?

Have you tried clicking the Show Mask checkbox right under the Secondary Color Correction header?
(And yes, controls were reorganized.)

Question for GR IR functionality - audit requirement (three-way) match

I have a question in regards to three way match functionality in SAP (matching of PO, GR and IR). Auditors asked us if GR-IV indicator is checked for every PO, and for our company this indicator cannot be checked for every PO due to drop shipments, LC terms, etc. However, AP is ensuring that GR document is posted prior to posting IR for all POs. In this case, even though GR-IV indicator is not checked at PO item level, does SAP enforce automatic three way matching based on the tolerance key set (DQ and PP), or does SAP not perform three way match since the GR-IV indicator was not set in the first place?
Please share some insight. Thank you.

As you know three ways match related to PO-GR-IV but in your case you want pay drop shipments and LC terms to vendor where you need two way match which is with PO-IV. The disadvantage in two way match, you never know whether the whole PO amount is delivered or not in your system (in real scenario). For two way match, select those vendors in t.code:XK02 and do not select check box of “GR-Based Inv. Verif.” in Control data segment in Purchasing data view & then save.
Now create a new PO and go for directly invoice verification WRT new PO.

CS6 Three-Way CC not importing setting from CS5.5 Timelines or from Saved Presets from CS.5.5

I had created two presets for the CS5.5 Three Way Color Corrector that I use in almost every project for dealing with sun shadows and hightlights on talents's skin and they no longer work in CS6. I've tried loading the old project/timeline/sequence into Premiere CS6 but the TWCC just acts like it is at default settings. No changes to the video at all.
I also had saved my two TWCC settings as presets (from CS5.5) to the hard drive to I would not loose them. I tried reloading those presets into CS6 but same problem.. they do nothing now. I guess no one checked to see that the new CS6 TWCC was backwards compatible with CS5.5. Major problem when loading / converting cs5.5 timelines to update client's projects. Adobe, please take a look at this and fix as soon as you can. Thanks! Wayland

I've spent the better part of the day trying to redo what I had before and frankly the new TWCC sucks! The previous one was sooo much better. I can't even get close to what I had before. Many of the controls show up when you select 'show' but have little or no effect on the real video. I wish I could just delete the current one and replace it with the old one. If I still had CS5.5 I'd try that. Not happy at all. I'll be up all night trying to catch up due to time wasted on this stupid redesign of the TWCC as I have a ton of work due tomorrow.

Audio drops when using Three-Way Color Corrector in CS6

Hello all,
I recently encountered a very odd issue while editing a friends wedding video using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. I had an interview with a guest laid over a music track and had all the audio adjustments made to both audio tracks so that the levels were where I wanted them. I then added the Three-Way Color Corrector to the video track and corrected the footage to my liking. When I played back this section of the wedding video, half way through the person's interview, his audio cut out. The audio from the music track was still playing, so it was not that audio drop that most people are familiar with within Premiere. I even muted the music track and played back the mentioned section of video and at the same exact point in time his audio just cuts out completely. I checked to see if any weird key frames had been added and nothing had been touched (that I could see). Also, the audio waveforms were still visible. I deleted the Three-Way Color Corrector effect off of the clip and suddenly there were no more audio problems. Eventually, needing color correction, I added an adjustment layer and assigned the Three-Way Color Corrector to that and had no issues, but I still don't see what could have been the problem, and it seems like a glitch to me. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? If so, what are your thoughts? Thanks!

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9930 - NEED HELP - Is there any way to disable the conference call/ three-way calling function on this phone???? I can't make a normal phone call without randomly starting a three-way call with someone from my contact list or recent call log. I can only keep the phone so far away from my ear!!!! Please help this is a real problem!

Disable conference call/ three-way calling function

Is there any way to disable the conference call/ three-way calling function on this phone???? I can't make a normal phone call without randomly starting a three-way call with someone from my contact list or recent call log. I can only keep the phone so far away from my ear!!!! Please help before I throw this thing in the river.

Three-way mirror disk requirement

In Windows 2012 Storage Space, why 3-way mirror requires minimum 5 disks instead of 3? How does 3 way mirror works? I tried to find the tech paper on MS website but either I didn't try hard enough or the info is not there.

The reason is that a 3-way mirror uses a quorum. In order to keep running, the mirror space must keep over 50% of the disks functioning. So a 3-way mirror must have at least 5 physical disks to be able to survive the loss of up to 2 physical disks.

Three way calling..... Problems....!!!

The problem is when you merge 2 parties into one; it is either you hear nothing at all from both parties, or you only can talk to 1 person putting the other person on hold. Simply, "merge" just does not work.
I called at&t 10 times to find a solution, still no go.
Talking to a service representatives did not help much. What they do is that they just remove 3 way call feature and put it back on to your account from their at&t system, or they suggest power cycle the phone, or call apple.(duh!) At times, it worked momentarily then voila, the same problem continues.
Then I talked to a tech support, I do not know what it is called but the tech disconnected my iPhone 3g from the network and reconnected it. She said this process is different from partial remove/add features that customer support rep did, it was rather total reset from the network.
Right after the talk with tech support, I was able to connect & merge 3 people (my friends) together that I could not before. Next day, I tried three way calling for the same 3 people but it did not work ever since.
I test called three way call today, calling 611 and Apple iPhone support number 800-694-7400, and it works! However, problem still exists when I try to connect my friends, the same 3 people mentioned above. What gives?
Does the problem have something to do with my friends' carriers? One has T-mo, the other one has Helio, and the third has vonage VOIP home service.
Please let me know.

How can I turn off the green indicator in the program window, that highlights my blacks that contain no image information. I applied a three-way-color corrector via an adjustment layer. Many thanks!

I shot on a flat picture profile with a Nikon D800 and played with the input levels in the 3-way-color corrector. Again, if I brighten the whole image, these indicators will disappear; if I darken the image, they will grow. It is not an artefact, it is a way to show me my crushed blacks. Like a zebra function in cameras. I just cannot find a way to turn this off.

Anyone experiencing timeline issues? No drop down in three way cc saturation

Hi not quite sure when, probably with in the last week or so I've noticed that a project i started a while ago has become buggy. The timeline needle doesnt scrub, different sequences show up sparraticcaly, saturation doesn't drop down in three way cc, I change the work space then it works for a second but goes back to the way it was. It's almost like a memory issue (but my memory is fine), I checked my gpu (gtx 670 4gb) worked great about a week ago. Friday I had adobe on phone for almost 2 hours and couldn't figure it out. So I'm wondering if anyone else is having this experience.

I too have this issue, and this time, I cannot find a work around. The dropdown arrows do not appear to function on any effect, and the timeline controls do not allow you to move the playhead, although dragging the mouse around moves the playhead in the clip playback window.
My attempts yesterday to trouble shoot involved the following:
Holding SHIFT while launching Premiere for a "safe mode" style launch - no fix
Manually deleteing the Adobe Premiere Pro configs and settings in c:\users\[name]\Adobe\Premiere Pro
Uninstall\reinstall without deleting preferences (option during uninstall).
Uninstall\reinstall WITH deleting preferences
I'm completely stumped and unfortunatly this bug has already killed two deadlines for me. ANyone else having this issue, as I cannot narrow it down any further.

Premiere Pro CC 7.1 (latest version)
