Did what I was instructed too, but flash player failed

So, for some reason, my adobe flash
player will not work any more. Have tried  to uninstall it, reinstall it, but here is the path of steps I tried,
A. Un-installed all adbobe products.
B. Went to adbobe.com
C. Clicked on Download flash player.
D. Was instantly taken to this webpage
http:\kb2.adbobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html
E. Each time I click on "download flasher player"
F. It returns/refreshes http://kb2.adbobe.com/cps/ooo/6b3af6c9.html
over and over again
It is a loop. I'm stuck notthing else works.
i did find a page on adobe.com  to where I could directly download an "flash player".exe file
but that did not work either. Tried to download it to desktop/my documents etc but no luck.

I don't know who instructed you to uninstall all Adobe products; that is certainly not prerequisite to upgrade Flash Player.
It is recommended to uninstall old Flash Player versions, with the uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Next install download and install the newest Flash Player; you can download the offline installer for your system from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

  • Signing jar files - did what I was supposed to but still

    Hi all,
I signed 1 jar file that has 1 class which creates a file
    on c:\
    I signed it like this:
keytool -genkey -keystore myKeystore -alias newKey
keytool -selfcert -alias newKey -keystore myKeystore
    jarsigner -keystore myKeystore classes.jar newKey
But web start did not even prompt me for agreement
to run this code, instead I got Security Exception
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
While searching for answers to my similar problem I stumbled upon your question, looked at your jnlp file and saw that it has <all-permissions> spelled wrongly.
My problem (which I have now solved) is that I signed all .jar files, but forgot to sign a .zip file :)
    Best of luck,

    Hi Danny,
Per my understanding that you can't get the expect result by using the expression "=Count(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4) " to count the the TICKET_STATUS which value is 4, the result will returns the count of all the TICKET_STATUS values(206)
    but not 180, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
    =COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
    or
    =SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))
If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

I have followed the instructions to update Flash Player, the Installation Fails at about 90%, it says that there is an Application running (Safari) and it says to close all the apps. and start again ... but I already close all the Applications ... none is running ... can someone help me with this issue ??? Thanks ...

    Dear Dominic
Brilliant reply. Simple English. Simple to follow instructions. And it worked immediately, first time.
Why couldn't the Apple and Adobe corporations get their programming right first time? We spend billions of UK pounds and US dollars with them. They reply with incompetent programming such as this, and arrogance to their customers in issuing faulty systems without doing the most rudimentary checks.
Anyway, I certainly shan't be buying another Apple as this is the most unreliable, most incomprehensible, most illogical and downright thoughtless shoddy piece of computer kit which I have ever owned. And all of it is rubbish ~ emails disappear, photos can't be organised properly, spreadsheets don't work, Pages is laborious… the list goes on and on...
But thanks to you Dominic, I have been able to load Adoble Flashj… maybe eyou should get  a job at Apple, and set them all on the right course to how to work simply and correctly with customers.
    Thanks again,
    David

VLC plugs directly into pulseaudio, while the firefox flash plugin uses ALSA to play sound.  Do you have the pulseaudio-alsa package installed?
I have had a similar problem before.  Sound would occasionally be controlled by ALSA and occasionally be controlled by pulse (the pulseaudio-alsa package did nothing).  As far as symptoms, sometimes other applications would not produce sound while a flash video was playing and vice versa.  Ultimately, I just removed everything pulse/ALSA-related, deleted (and backed up) my configuration files, and installed all related packages anew.  It works now.  I still don't really know what the problem was.

  • Installed and verifed but Flash Player continues to crash in Firefox.  Any suggestions

Flash Player sometime activates and then crashes after a few seconds.

Thanks for responding Chris.  Flash Player consistently crashes no matter what site I am in.  I've tried all of the suggested fixes in Flash Player help and nothing has been successful. The computer confirms that I have downloaded the most recent file but Adobe Flash Player doesn't show in the Firfox Add Ons.  I also tried Firefox flash player suggestions but none worked.  It crashes no matter what page I am on.  If flash player is required, it crashes.  It also crashes in Internet Explorer.  I am a novice so please bear with me.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

created by chris.campbell in Using Flash Player - View the full discussionHello,I'm sorry you're encountering these problems.  I'll try what I can to help. 1. Have you tried any browser other than Firefox?  It would be helpful to know if these same types of crashes occur with Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.2. Did this crashing behavior just start occurring?  If so, was there a particular update or event that preceded the crashing?3. Does the crashing happen consistently?  Ie. If you go to the same web page that contains Flash content, does it crash every time you visit?  Does it crash when you visit this page?  Flash Player Help  What pages does it crash on?4. Can you visit about:crashes within Firefox and submit some of the most recent crashes.  Once submitted, please post back with the crash URL's.4. Can you try resetting your Firefox profile?  Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
Firefox Help5. Finally, can you try temporarily disabling protected mode to see if that makes a difference (this will be the last step in the faq)?  How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox? Thanks,

  • What Apple app works for adobe flash player?

On christmas i bought my iPad 3G+wi fi, my first dissapoint was to play in internet adobe flash video in two  sites www.tuparada.com and www.integridadysabiduria.org, appstore recommends some apps equivalent to adobe flash, i tried  Skyfire ($4.95) but it doesn't work, and i lost my money because Skyfire said  they can not refund because Apple doesn' has policy refund, anyway my core cuestión is : how can i play  internet vídeos which request adobe flash player.?

I think Apple   should probably have to take most seriously this problem,  because this kind of video is high popular , besides retailers do not quote the warning that we will not be allowed to play this type of video

There is no guaranteed solution for the iPad as flash is not and probably never will be supported.
Apart from Skyfire there a browser apps such as iSwifter, Puffin and Photon which 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites.

  • What is the iPad alternative to Flash Player?

What is the iPad alternative to Flash Player?

There are alternate browsers that redirect flash content to their servers, change it to stuff that works on iOS and send it to your device.
    They mostly kind of work.
Look at skyfire, photon, iswifter, puffin.
Read some reviews and see if one will work for you.

What can I do if shockwave flash player is constantly crashing on google chrome ?

I think Google Chrome is more easy to troubleshoot. Try this:
    1. Open Chrome.
    2. Click the far-right Icon (Customize and control Google Chrome).
    3. Select about Google Chrome. It check if Google Chrome is up to date and if not it'll get update.
    4. You must wait until a GREEN check mark appear saying your Google Chrome is up to date.
    5. Remember, you don't need to get Adobe Flash Player separately because Google Chrome has it own integrated Player.
    6. Accept Google Chrome constant upgrade to their Chrome browser.
    Wishing you Good Luck!
