Did Windows op sys disk come with laptop when new; cant seem to locate it with stuff that did

Did the Pavillion dv7 laptop obtained in 12/2011 come with a startup disk or was the windows preloaded; if no disk how does one restore the system if you get a hard disk does not exist error?

You were supposed to create your own set of recovery disks when you first got the notebook.
I kept getting bugged by messages prompting me to do that every so often.

Now since the hard drive is kaput, that option is no longer available, and you will need to purchase a set of recovery disks from HP for your specific model.

How did you reformat the drive? If you formatted it as NTFS, your Mac will not be able to write files to it unless you use a small application such as Paragon's.
Please reply as to how you formatted the drive.

Does my new Pavilion 23 come with software that plays Music CD's and converts to MP3

Well the title says it about all. I have a newer Pavilion 23 A6 VISION AMD
I wanted to play a music CD and have the tunes converted to MP3 on a flash or on my Motorola Xoom. Let's just say a flash drive for now. What's the procedure?
Do I record them and save them somewhere first and then convert them? Does the Pavilion 23 come with software that does that? How about Realplayer or Media Player? I also have the Cyberlink Media Suite bundled.

Using Windows Media Player... typically, you would insert the CD and rip the songs (or all tracks) to the media/music library. After you are done ripping the music, you can copy the files to a USB stick or other storage device.

I think it's a keyboard malfunction. Take it to Genius Bar or authorised service centre to fix it up.

Does a Lion Disk Come With The New Macbook Pros?

I recently ordered a new mbp, and am planning on swapping the hdd for an intel ssd. Do the new macbook pros that come with lion pre-installed also include a lion install dvd like the old laptops do, or will I need to download lion from the app store and burn it to a disk to install it on my new ssd?

OS X Lion is not being included as an install DVD with new Macs. (It does come pre-installed.) Apple is offering a $69 USB stick with Lion pre-installed for owners would like to own a solid state means of recovery. Lion is strictly internet based with its recovery features - in other words - Macs will need to be able to connect to the internet to restore a computer with HDD failure (or some other issue where you need to restore the system.)

Downloaded Firefox on 01/16/2015 on brand new laptop. Came with stuff that installed automatically, did not ask for, did not want. Vosteran & OptimizerPro. Why?

I am typing this from my tower and not my laptop. I cannot keep my laptop connected long enough to do anything on the internet since downloading Firefox on it.
I am NOT a happy camper. I went directly to the Mozilla web address, and downloaded and installed Firefox browser. It came with GARBAGE! Have had nothing but problems since. Have been working on this since 01/16/2015. It's messed up my internet access as well; I have to keep resetting it.
How on earth did these programs come bundled with my Firefox browser download? and Why are they there?

Firefox any version for any OS does not come bundled with extra stuff if you get it from www.mozilla.org
If you found the download site you downloaded from from a search in say Google or Bing then the site was likley one of the Ads above the real search results.
The other possibility is you are already infected.
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

How many disks come with Final Cut Studio?

Sounds like a funny question, but somebody gave me these disks and I just want to know if I have them all before I install, and is there any sequence to the installation?

It is indeed a strange question and you were extremely lucky to be given $1,000 worth of DVDs.
There are 7 discs in FCS 3 and you start off with the Final Cut Studio Install Disc, with which you configure the installation process.
During the installation process you will be informed when to use the others.

Windows 7 x64 enterprise comes with connection error

Please try below method and check whether it works. (Quoted from below article)
Go to Control Panel. Choose printer. Then choose
Add Printer.
Choose Add a local printer. Click on Create a new port. The default in the drop down box is
Local Port. Do not change that. Click Next.
A dialogue box will appear asking for you to enter a port name. Type in the
\\computer name\printer name ie. My computer's name is basement and the printer name is EpsonSty so I typed in \\basement\epsonsty.

Did Wireless Mighty Mouse come with an installation CD?

I love my wireless mighty mouse that I bought with my imac but I want to use it with my newly purchased macbook as well. The only problem is, I can't seem to locate the installation CD that I'm assuming came with it.
The mouse DID come with a CD, correct? Is there anywhere else I can look - drivers embedded in Tiger OSX?
I've called Apple a couple times (on hold as I "speak"). Anyway, they haven't been able to help me too much, I spent 45 minutes last night and I just had to hang up with them and I couldn't get any answers. I will pay for it but I think maybe they're trying to see if they have any available CD's (I would imagine they should have some extras lying around :)!)

You don't need the CD that comes with the Mighty Mouse. All you need to do is go to software update on the Apple menu icon and update your software. If there is any software for the mouse that needs updating, it will update.

Does Windows Intune come with a Windows License

Does a Windows Intune subscription still come with a Windows Enterprise upgrade license?
We've got some Windows 7 Professional PC's and some Windows 8.1 PC's and we require two things: -
1: BitLocker
2: Windows Intune
I don't want to have to pay to upgrade ALL of the PC's to Windows 8.1 Professional in order to get BitLocker and then roll out Windows Intune. I am hoping I can buy a Windows Intune subscription for each user, and be given a licence to upgrade their
primary PC to Windows 8.1 Enterprise - therefore allowing me to enable BitLocker on each PC.
I would really like an answer about the "Enterprise Licence" for Windows Intune.

if you wants to have Windows 8.1 Enterprise (includes BitLocker) than you need to purchase Windows Intune subscription with Software assurance for Windows for each device with Windows 7 professional.
Note:The Windows operating system upgrade included with Windows Intune with Software Assurance for Windows can only be used on the licensed user’s primary PC. However,
you can manage an additional four (4) devices.

What software comes with MacBook?

Can someone tell me what software disks come with the Black MacBook? The page on the Apple page shows 1 DVD system disk and the iLife 06 Disk. Do you actually get the iLife disk or is it incorporated into the system disks?

Just got a MacBook 1 June-- and I have the SuperDrive-- would like to back up the 2 DVD's that came with it. But, no luck.
1. The DVD Disc 1 seems to have everything on it-- Disc 2 just has a Readme telling me to insert DVD Disc-1. Strange...
2. DVD Disc-1 says it has 4.73 gb capacity but that 149 mb unused. OK but when I make a MASTER DISC IMAGE .cdr and try to burn a TEK 4.7 gb blank DVD I get the message "not enough space on your DVD"...
I am truly a bit perplexed-- can't imagine this is a double-sided DVD (it is printed on one side!)-- although the Disc-2 says it has "8.7 gb" of capacity (but just using 81 mb...)
Any comments here would be really appreciated. I thought moving from an 800 kb diskette to a 1.4 mb diskette 12 years ago was heaven; and now 4.7 gb doesn't seem to be large enough...

No, easyIO is not a part of the standard J2SDK. Where did you get it from? Software development libraries usually come with documentation that explains how to install and use them (e.g. a text file called "README" or "INSTALL")

So, I terend back to apple store and they exchange my ipod because the selar said that the new ipod 4g comes with headphones that have volume control and the microphone, but when I opened my new one, I found that I have the headphones with out the volume control and the microphone. So, what is the problem? Who should I believe? I'm very sad.

You can find all the pre-requisites and details for configuring RCA from service.sap.com/diagnostics. All details are documented there.
Mainly there are 2 tools comes with SAP for RCA (as a third party tools); wily introscope and BMC appsight. Refer the media library under the above link to get details about those tools.
If u want to learn more about RCA, I would recommend you to go for E2E100 course. This is designed for RCA.

Did Satellite Pro M70 come with WINXP disks?

when i got my M70 it only came with one disk! the adons, did it come with the Windows XP Pro Disk? becuase i have Windows Vista Beta 2 and i dont want to install it unless i no i have the disk for Windows XP! becuse i use my laptop at school and if vista dont run word then i will have to go back to XP!

The unit was delivered only with the Toshiba recovery CD because the Toshiba Assists (on the desktop) contains an option to create the own Toshiba driver and tools CD.
Therefore only one disc was delivered.
By the way. You can create second partition and there you can install a second OS without deleting the available WinXP
